For your schedule you could use velcro dots instead of magnets to keep them in place. If you don't want adhesive on the board you could put painters tape on the board and velcro dots on the tape.

So very nice to see you. I'm glad you took the break you needed. I found last year uniquely difficult so I totally understand paring down to the necessities. Hi! For your schedule in the pocket chart, push the cards to the left and put the times on the right. That way you can still see the clip art.

After 32 years of conducting 3 story hours a day, I suggest you put your chair in the center front of your carpet. Better control and closer to your students. (They use to stick their fingers in my shoes!)
Yes! It's the 2nd week of school now and I've since moved it after filming this 😊
I like how your room is set up. I wish I had tables instead of desks. Desks get so messy with junk, it drives me crazy. What do you use your tv for? We have touch view tvs and I can actually “write” on mine while I teach.
The tables are kind of a funny size when it comes to groupings but definitely nice to have! I use my TV for everything. I teach with google slides so they are projected all day. I also write on it with Expo and it erases easily 😊
What is the classroom layout website? Setting up my first classroom this week and that looks so helpful!
It’s actually just PowerPoint! I used a blank template and inserted various shapes as different desks, cabinets and other furniture! So easy and really helpful to get the design ideas out!

When do you do science and social studies?
We have science pull outs twice per week, social studies is normally embedded within our ELA block a couple times per month!
What did you use for your layout on the smart board?
I just used a blank powerpoint and used basic shapes to get a general layout! 😊
