- In this video I review the 2022 Mercedes Benz EQS 580 4 Matic and share my thoughts on it. From a glance you can see the design of the EQS 580 is a major departure from what we're used to with the traditional S Class in terms of design. On the exterior you can see the front end features a unique fully glass panel grill with a continuous led drl running the span of the front with little Mercedes stars accenting the grill panel as opposed to a traditional open air style, the headlights are unique as this features Mercedes’ new digital light system which is able to project various vehicle guidance functions right onto the road. In the rear you’ll see they decided to go with a hatchback design with an led tail light assembly once again spanning the entire rear deck Lid. It has dual permeant excited synchronous motors producing 516 hp and 631 lbs of torque with a 107 kWh battery mated to a single speed transmission with 4 Matic good for 0-60 in 4.1 seconds. It can charge from 10% to 80 in just 31 minutes on a dc charger and on ac it takes 11.25 hours to reach a full charge. It has a fully adaptive self leveling air suspension and 10 degree rear axle steering making for an impressive turning radius. And starts at 119k with three trim levels of the 580 the premium trim exclusive and pinnacle.

I saw one in person and I like. That interior is the best in the business
I have this car for 2 months and although it is not as "agile" as my base Taycan, the interior is probably the BEST in the world with 3D Burmeister stereo sound and rear axle steering! the turning radius is best in the class.

Good job, nice review. Just a note, the EQS580 is in fact much faster than a Taycan....... (the 82K) base version! And, if you want a faster EQS there is an AMG. Yes the rear seat is more cramped than the S class however, its palatial compared to a Taycan. Lastly, there will be (sooner or later) a Maybach EQS which of course will be chauffer worthy and have a rear seat worthy of a plutocrat.

Jamessalvatore Lucid air is a good car
Lucid is owned by the prince of Saudi Arabia, Bin Salman (Saudi wealth fund) . The guy that likes to behead reporters in embassies. No one should buy a Lucid. As much I dislike Elon Musk (the tower of BS) I would buy any Tesla before I bought a Lucid.
