Learning Note Names With Conscious Competence Pt. 1

Knowing the names of the notes up and down your fretboard opens a lot of avenues to you as a musician. It's not difficult. It just takes some simple, basic, concentration. Say the names as you play them one at a time, one string at a time.

Loved it. The question that all aspiring guitarists want answered is...how long will it take? I learned by rought head and neck anatomy in 9 months for university degree. To learn the notes so I could find them at will whilst playing took me close to 3 years. It wasn't by osmosis.
