I would love to see a Lorac video. I just ordered a couple of new palettes from Lorac. You don’t hear about them much but I think they are totally underrated.
@@slopez0926 I ordered the Meraki, the Vintage Glamour, the Soleil, and the Sparkling mini palette too! I skipped Black Friday but then when they had 50% off on Cyber Monday I couldn’t resist.
I love videos featuring products that aren’t new. It’s more fun somehow without the awareness that there is something new I should think about. Yes, shopping for older kids is really different! Even though it’s not the same kind of magic they experienced as little kids, there is a magic of being with a family that loves them. I hear my grown kids talking fondly about their Christmas memories that had nothing to do with the gifts.
I so agree about gift shopping for older kids - I have 2 16 year olds and a 12 year old. They can't even really think of things they want - they have ALL the electronics already. We decided a few years ago to just get each child 1-2 gifts and then we gift a BIG family vacation to a destination we've never been before. We love to travel (before Covid of course) and it gives them something to look forward to in the upcoming year. First year we did a cruse to Alaska, 2nd year we did a Disney cruise with some friends to Mexico and last year's trip was to Grand Cayman!
Your eyes look beautiful with those colours! I completely agree with you re presents for the older kids. My husband and I are raising our 13yo twin grandsons and it’s so difficult! They don’t know what they want and never really ask for anything much, they’re just grateful for whatever they’re given.
I agree completely that as kids get older it changes the dynamics of Christmas. My kids are adults which can be it's own challenge. However my two Grandkids have brought the mood back around 🤶🎅 The Emperors New Groove is one of our absolute favorites in my home! "Llama face!" 🦙😂
Lorac pro 2 was one of my first high end palettes and it’s still the one I pack for traveling and reach for most often! I’m glad you mentioned them because I love that palette so much !
I have 4 grown kids, 3 of which are married, so 7 adults. Between the 4 of them we have 7 grandkids. My kids have always loved stockings so I have 14 stockings to make besides the gifts. I am completely done shopping, stockings are done and gifts are all wrapped and under the tree! Now I just get to relax and watch Hallmark movies 😁😁
I, too, am looking forward to Persona's next eyeshadow palette release. I love the first Identity palette and use shades from it almost every day. The Identity 2 is a little harder for me to use with the bright shimmers, but I'm trying to use it more often. I have really got to be more selective with my purchases in 2021, but I know I like the Persona formula so will definitely consider adding a new palette from them to my collection.
I completely agree with the present thing. My kids are 10, 12 and 14 now and although I still enjoy the process, it does feel more like ‘the shop of Mum and Dad’ and less like spontaneous Santa...and soooo much more expensive!
Hi Mandy great video love this look especially that cheek colour and the eye is really nice too, and yes your very right things change at Christmas as your kids grow and it's much harder to buy for them it's almost a little but of magic disappears at Christmas as they become teenagers but like you I still love this season, and decorating and still love wrapping gifts and absolutely love watching my grandchildren opening their gifts and the sheer joy and smiles I see as my lounge room end up covered in wrapping paper, truly one of my favourite things, take care all the best Mary 🌻
Hey Mandy. Always enjoy your videos. I have 5 sons and 1 daughter that is a twin with one of her brothers. My youngest is 21. I totally agree that it was so much easier when they were young to shop for Christmas presents. I miss that magic of them being excited on Christmas morning. Treasure every moment as it flies by so quickly. 🎄
LOL.......Our 27 and 25 year old sons still make Christmas lists for Mom and Dad and they aren't playing!!! One asked for the new X-Box and games to go with it and the other asked for a new huge monitor just like Dad's, amongst Meundies and a few other things. I also want to get my daughter-in-law some very nice things. Here's the kicker.....2 amazingly sweet hearted Grand Babies and they get the most!!! We love all 5 of them and yes they are spoiled in the nicest and most gracious ways. XO Melissa aka Mom aka Grandma.
I laughed at the grocery shopping story. My husband is incapable of checking prices when he shops. He buys things that I would never even consider given the less expensive alternatives. Also - I did break down and buy some Sydney Grace singles and a liquid eyeshadow on Black Friday. They will be Christmas gifts from my son, which allowed me to justify breaking my no-buy.... can’t wait to try them. I feel you on the teenage boys and gifts. My 16 yo hasn’t given us any kind of list yet but last year was very businesslike. We did manage to surprise him with a Black Friday deal set of AirPods - it was fun to see him happily surprised. I don’t have anything “extra” for this year, though. Not as much magic any more!
I am with you on the cotton pad thing. I get the Shishedo cotton pads for applying toners and other treatments. Since they’re fancy and a little expensive, those cotton pads DO NOT get used for makeup removal or first aid. That’s what the generic cotton pads are for.
Would love to see looks from each of the Lorac palettes! They are one of my favourite formulas! And I thought I was the only one who fanned their setting spray with the remnant of a makeup sample! Lol. Great minds. Loved this look!
Love this look ❤️ I feel 100% the same about my older kids! 😂 They send us pictures and links of EXACTLY what they want. All business, you’re right. And yes, we could wrap the toys my 4 year old has in his room and he would be excited about it! Too funny.
Hey mandy, the best way to use those Sydney Grace cream shadows is to get like a small shader brush real techniques is the best one I use and just put a little bit on there and then tap it on your eyelid, hope that helps
I’m the same way about certain items at the grocery store. 🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️Ketchup and Syrup. Name brand only. Then there are some things I’m okay with the store brand. Love your videos. You are so gorgeous. 😍😍
I just heard your bit about generic versus namebrand (and the specific re cereal)... I can SOOOO relate!!! You are one of my UA-camrs. Keep you the great work!
My Sydney Grace order just came. I’m so excited to play with them tomorrow. Thanks for your swatching videos!!! It was really helpful in picking colors. 😁😁😁
I would like to see a video on the lorac 1 & 3 pallete and creating eye looks with each of these. I have never got to try them until I bought them at TJ maxx and they were so well priced I may add, when I saw them I was like am I imagining things cause I was shocked at that price. Such a good formula and pigmented!
My daughter is getting older, and I'm starting to see what you mean about the gift shopping. I think I have maybe one more year of her getting excited for the idea of "presents" before she gets super specific. This year she definitely had a more detailed list. Luckily my son is only 2.5.
Ever since I was about 15 or 16, my parents started giving me Christmas money at around Thanksgiving time, and then I’d order my own Christmas presents, my mom would say, “Okay, forget what you got!” and she’d wrap them and put them under the tree for me to open Christmas morning! 😂😂😂 I didn’t realize how funny it was until I got married and my husband was all, “Umm... that’s not Christmas.” Lol. I kind of loved it though-I always got exactly what I wanted! Good luck with the teenage Christmas gifts!
Last month I almost went into TJ Maxx. What stopped me was the long line outside. Now I'm kicking myself for not waiting it out. Who knows. I may have found one or more of those Lorac palettes. ☹ I'll try again on Monday. Crossing fingers I'll get lucky because I've always wanted to try their formula especially at a price point of $10!! So, Yes. Please do some eye looks with the palettes you found for part of this series. Love that you're using old gems. I get having to buy/try out the new releases as it's part of your job but during times like this using what one has vs buying new, new, new isn't always an option for everyone...
We have a two year old and we are really looking forward to Christmas this year. She is so excited about the tree and Santa Claus. She doesn’t even know she will get presents yet 😂
mandy mandy mandy omgosh i just got home for 5 days in the hospital . the most precious box was outside my door. No eyeshadow i have ever touched in my life time carrys a fire next to this sydney grace palette WOW WOW WOW IM going to get her eyeshadows solely now im sure she has every color i will ever need the formula and pigmentation is gorgeous . only thing is that it wasnt in tin packaging,. thanks mandy for the recommendation im floored !!!
I am SOOOO happy to hear that you love them as much as I do Deni! They are my prized possesions!! I am sorry to hear you were in the hospital- I hope you are feeling better. Sending lots of love!
I had to laugh so hard as I connect fully with what you are saying with Christmas and kids wishes. I love using this Persona palette. Such a great Fall look
Yay! I have the LORAC Pro 3 and have maybe used it once. I would love to see what you do with it. I have a 16 y/o and a 19 y/o-I haven’t even started shopping yet as I’m still waiting for their wishlists.🤷🏻♀️ LOL! The comment about your earrings😂
I have the gray Lorac pallet and like it but some of the colors are quite ‘loose’ and have a ton of kickback. I now own the Natasha Denona Glam pallet that I’m using a lot more then the Lorac pallet.
I can totally sympathize with your Christmas shopping struggles with your older kids. I have a 17 (almost 18) year old daughter and 7 year old twin daughters. The twins get excited over EVERYTHING. You are 100% accurate in calling shopping for your older kiddos a “business transaction.” This year she wants an XBox series X and a few video games. The XBox is sold out all over the US and won’t return until February. CA is supposed to get it sooner though! My sister won a bidding war on EBay to get that darn game system. I don’t even want to know what she paid!! 😳 I love this look you created. I love the SG liquid shadows. I have a multi chrome one...blue/purple/bronze shift. I would love one in every color! I love these “Nothing New” videos. I’m a new subscriber and I’m so happy I found you! Deep diving into your videos has been awesome. 🤗
I totally buy certain things in store brand or name brand! My Born this way concealer is almost gone but it is time to toss it. Didn't realize how much product it had until later on. I would only repurchase if it was the only one I was using I have way too many to use up. I also keep liquid products until they smell different some stuff is too expensive to just toss! Tfs.
Your videos put me in a better mood. 😊 I am interested in those Lorac palettes I used to own 2 of them but they were so overused I gave one away to my granddaughter and decluttered the other one. Oh! Also I ordered the Tony Moly mascara from stylevanna and can’t wait to try it!
I agree about the Christmas shopping for kids. I have 6 and 8 year old girls(dolls!) who love and appreciate anything that we give them however I have some friends with older kids who asked for items that cost 2-300 dollars each last year 🥴🥴🥴
I can relate. My kids have always been so grateful for whatever they get. My 18 year old son text me the other day and said all he wants is a calendar.😂😍

Love your very relatable content and videos. For January, month of nothing new - I would love to see a look from the "green" quad of Sydney Grace singles you shared in your swatch-o-rama video.
Yes totally agree with Christmas shopping, min is 28 now Nd I'm having a heck of a time and whenever I ask he says nothing!! I think its hard to buy for older kids that are now men lol. I love your cute tree in the background ❤❤
Hey Mandy, Happy Saturday! Sorry I didn’t see this last night and there were no cocktails involved! 🤣🤣 This is a very pretty look today. I really liked the eyeliners. I’m looking for good ones that stay all day, are kind to maturing skin, have great color payoff and don’t cost $25 a piece! It seems like that eyeliner fits the bill and I love that tone of brown. I have dark hair, brown eyes and am fair complected. I think that liner would work well. I would love to see a Christmas/decorating VLOG. I’ve been loving the makeup you’ve been doing. I would like to see looks with the Tati Blended Neutrals palette or the Colourpop So Jaded x Kathleen Lights palette. Also Colourpop complexion products. Nabla or Haley’s Beauty brands. 😘😘
The teens know what the good gifts are. I know exactly what you mean I have two grown kids. I just turned 42 and I have a 23 year old. Aleesha, my daughter, the oldest, an RN and a 18 yr old boy Kadin that's in college and works at Long Horn and T-Mobile. I find boys harder to buy for in general. It's strange not having kids in the house for Christmas.
I’m a new subscriber, Mandy. I love your channel - you have a great personality! Have been binge-watching your videos. I love the Lorac palettes! Please use one in a future video. Thanks!
I just watched your Abh Sultry palette seven looks video. Abh just came out with that palette in a vault. I would also like to see a video on any Urban Decay palette. The Cherry or Honey palette is a fun palette.
I just bought all four of the Lorac pro palettes. Would love to see your opinions and looks. I'm very impressed with them from swatches. Also got a sample of their eye primer with each which I really like.
Hi Mandy!!! loved this video👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻❤️ my holy grail liquid long lasting noncreasing awesomeness in a tube sydney grace shadows. simply goodness in a tube. I have many colors !!! They could be a one and done or a full glam multi shadow look!!! Seasons greetings lots of love❤️❤️❤️😘
I am going to try and take a page from your book this month. No new makeup, and only skincare I already use and can get on sale. I don’t wear makeup every day but I have enough to last years. But I do give a lot away if I end up not liking the product. My daughter takes it to work for her friends to enjoy. But I still have about 50 pallets and 4-5 foundations.
Hi mandy, most of shopping done now, really need to make a start on all the wrapping.. Decs are up but I'm so behind this year. Hope yr doing ok today. Xx
I love your makeup!!! Anyway I totally understand what you saying about the Christmas Magic with older kids. I have a 19 year old girl a 14 year old boy and a 5 year old little girl 🤦🏻♀️ they are all into different things , but I’m trying my best to keep it magical 🤪 let’s see how it goes lol
I totally get you with the groceries. I know they can't possibly read my mind or keep all those details straight that I have for 33 years. But it would be nice if they could...
Hey, First off, I just wanted to say I love your videos! Also, have you ever tried the makeup brand Lurella Cosmetics? I think I spelt it right. Im just curious what you think of them. Because of you, I bought lots of Juvia's place palettes and love them!!! Thanks for your videos! Happy holidays! Jaime
I would love a new Persona palette. I'd love to try their formula but the past two color stories aren't calling my name. If they release like 6 pan or quads, I def would be interested Also, not a mom, but one of 6 kids and its been interesting buying gifts as we've all gotten older. Shopping for my younger bro is especially hard because he's 14 but mentally delayed in some ways (like a 6ish year old) and a total teenager in others. So he's getting an air hockey table for christmas and toy trucks for his birthday on the 23rd
Thank you for all your work. I appreciate you. I have a video Idea that I would love to see - (drugstore) lines and what is the best pick from each of them. For example No7 has amazing finishing powder. I would like to know as I stand in Target what in brands lines like No7, Honest, Neutrogena, Pixi, and all the others would be worth the $. Thanks
I'm with you,I get annoyed when my husband or kids bring home the name brand when they could have saved money with the generic. Who doesn't already know that? 😉Of course, I bite my tongue since they were trying to be helpful.😊
Idk what happened to CYO, but my heart was broken. Their Life-Proof foundation was the BEST color match I have EVER found in a foundation. I bought 6 backups when it went on clearance lol.
I want to try that pang blush really bad but I've been on a no buy for months now. Just broke as all get out and it looks like my situation will just get worse as months go on with this virus. Worst year ever. Beautiful look as always Mandy. There is no xmas for me. No tree no nothing this year. :(

Love this eye colour on you , really makes your eyes pop xox
Lorac? Yes please! So good
Love this!! I enjoy your videos so much, you crack me up.
Yes for the Lorac palette tutorials!
Yay for the Vlog! I’m so excited for it.
Love the smell of the Juicy Pang blush!!
My Friday nights consist of wine and binging UA-cam videos after putting my toddler to bed. I always watch your videos first. I love your channel!!
Mandy said 💎💎💎💎! Im excited!!
I just bought all four of the Lorac pro palettes. Would love to see your opinions and looks. I'm very impressed with them from swatches. Also got a sample of their eye primer with each which I really like.
PLEASSSSEEEE do a video with your Lorac palletes!!!
The eyes are beautiful!!!
That lorac primer is my freaking favorite! Isn’t to oil or to dry. I have repurchased multiple times.
Totally agree with the Christmas present thing... I have two girls one is 14 and the other is just turned 2.
Love my Juicy Pang! It just makes me happy.
Hi Mandy!!!
loved this video👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻❤️
my holy grail liquid long lasting noncreasing awesomeness in a tube sydney grace shadows. simply goodness in a tube. I have many colors !!! They could be a one and done or a full glam multi shadow look!!!
Seasons greetings lots of love❤️❤️❤️😘
I would like to see a try on video of the Lorac palette! I've gotten the lipsticks and I love them!
Definitely a lorac video. I just got the unzipped palette.
I Love your channel, yes, please do
A Lorac eye pallet video. I'm considering buying it. Take care💜
Hi mandy, most of shopping done now, really need to make a start on all the wrapping.. Decs are up but I'm so behind this year. Hope yr doing ok today. Xx
I'd love to see the Huda nude light palette again!
Love Lorac palettes.
If they release like 6 pan or quads, I def would be interested
Also, not a mom, but one of 6 kids and its been interesting buying gifts as we've all gotten older. Shopping for my younger bro is especially hard because he's 14 but mentally delayed in some ways (like a 6ish year old) and a total teenager in others. So he's getting an air hockey table for christmas and toy trucks for his birthday on the 23rd
Hi beauty. I am your new subscriber. Love the design of your nail polish 😍😍😍💅💅💅
I love these videos of yours soooo much!! Love the background, too!😘
Idk what happened to CYO, but my heart was broken. Their Life-Proof foundation was the BEST color match I have EVER found in a foundation. I bought 6 backups when it went on clearance lol.
Yes I would like to see the lorac pallets and I want to know your thoughts. Ofra has a sale 50 percent off. Wondering your thoughts on the brand?
I want to try that pang blush really bad but I've been on a no buy for months now. Just broke as all get out and it looks like my situation will just get worse as months go on with this virus. Worst year ever. Beautiful look as always Mandy. There is no xmas for me. No tree no nothing this year. :(
Wish you could do my eyes. You are talented!
