Supposedly offsets neck dive. Mainly looks cooler than hell. I prefer a Bigsby for an usable vibrola on a Gibson.
I got a custom shop relic’d 61 in aged pelham blue(which looks like chevy nova green from the 70’s-love that) without the vibrola but kinda wish it had one now just for the vibe of it. No idt it has much influence on the tone…idk.
What are people’s thoughts: does the Vibrola tailpiece improve tone or resonance/sustain on SGs?
