They debuted in 2015, and released mega hit songs since then. They are 3rd generation of Kpop girl group. TWICE usually do colorful, bright Kpop, and this one is their first try of changing their concept.
**Wow... I didn't expected so much attention like this. As a Korean ONCE, TWICE is the most popular girl group in South Korea and makes the best album sales. Again, in SOUTH KOREA. I don't know anything outside Korea, so please stop fan war! I support multi fandom!

Like I love every girl group EXCEPT Blackpink. When I say that, I don't hate the members. But I just couldn't like their songs, because to me, they're so generic and so overrated for no reason.
What's worst is their fandom. The Blonks feel so massive and overwhelming that sometimes I thought they represent the entire Blink fandom. They are so self-entitled, and treat Blackpink like literal goddesses that can never be lower than other groups. It makes me so sick, and it's what preventing me from ever being a fan of Blackpink.
It's not even the member's fault but they gave birth to this fanbase filled with toxic people, and it hurts.

What I appreciate so far is how you don’t initially slam the members of the groups’ vocals or straight criticize their tones, voices, etc. but actually try to understand why they are using certain techniques. It’s kind of refreshing to hear you actually praise their hard work from a singer’s perspective

Well, non-pro don't really have any back-up so their opinions are trash and producers kinda blame the girls because they just don't agree with the direction the original producer took (an ego and style battle). I think a singer is the most suited to react to other singers as they know how it work, understand what they are asked during recordings and get the difficulty of working their voice

YES! I love Dahyun. (The one laying down.) she’s my favorite in the group, and is a rapper. Sadly, she usually doesn’t get a lot of singing lines, so I’m really happy that she got some lines in this comeback.
Also with chaeyoung (the girl with blonde, short hair.) I was scared that her only line was “Fancy, woo!” But NOPE! I’m also really glad that she has more lines now!

@@fireblade4479 I agree but I slightly think BLACKPINK is More popular in South east asia (Thailand bcs lisa is thai, Vietnam, Philippines, India - thats where most bp fans Come from, also they are more famous in China, but thats bcs YG is very adored in China, but twice is massively popular in Korea, Japan, Taiwan which are some of the largest music markets in the world! So in my opinion both group are amazing and all lead the new kpop wave(female groups), sorry for mentioning blackpink ^
Pok Pak twice is the 3rd most popular group in the world. Just because blackpink is popular in the US, or has more views, doesn’t mean they are more popular. Twice is popular in most Asian countries and also in western countries.
Pok Pak they are also becoming popular in America 💗and in Mexico
TWICE is arguably the biggest girl group in Korea, often called "The Nation's Girl Group." They debuted in 2015 with "Ooh Ahh," but grew immensely popular with "Cheer Up" (2016), "TT" (2016) and 'Likey" (2017). They are personally my favorite group and consist of 9 memebers. This song is a slightly different sound for them (more mature/retro), as compared to their past discorgraphy, but still has their distinct style that made them so popular.
blackpink is on the same rank in SK but in the world, bpink is more popular than twice
Mathéo I’d argue that TWICE is still ahead of BP in Korea (especially if you look at their album sales, no one can beat TWICE) due to their normally cutesy concept and catchy songs. If BP had a more regular comeback schedule, then I’d agree that they would probably be on the same level. BP, however, dominates the overseas market and TWICE comes nowhere near them in terms of international fame.

@@ry1459 TWICE actually have a more solid and dedicated fanbase outside Asia too. TWICE is nowhere near BP's international fame? Lol dyou register the US promo as fame already? Or the selfies with hollywood stars makes the group superior? Lol a simple math could answer that. Bp is nowhere near TWICE's achievements, be it awards, wins not even 1/8 of their sales. Their world tour concert in LA, NEWARK and even in MEXICO is easily sold out in hours even if they dont promote outside Asia compare to BP.
BP cant even sell out their US mags(super discounted) & concert even after months of promotion in US and had to heavely discount and put their ticket on a buy 1 get one promo. Not trying to shade here but these are all true. TWICE's fanbase is pretty much more solid than BP who had the majority of bandwagon fans who is only there for the hype.
NINE MIX in malaysia , a lot of blackpink fans only like one member or only like the song , hardly to see a hardcore blink while twice have a lot of hardcore fans here

finally my baby dahyun is getting some recognition for her tone and vocals! she's always flown under the radar for many fans because she has a unique tone of voice (almost angelic) and she is also considered a rapper so it would be unlikely for her to be seen as a vocalist. i love her voice personally so if she ever did a solo i would be really proud of her for it ee 💕💕

That a was a genuinely informative and entertaining reaction video. Hope you react to older songs from them (TT, Dance the Night away, Heart Shaker, and YES or YES), because you do bring a different perspective than the rest. The girl with the "raspy" voice is Dahyun, and the the one with the long note (that you repeated in sort of falsetto) is the main singer: Jihyo.
The easiest and most fun way of learning the names and some background info of TWICE members is by watching "an unhelpful guide to TWICE" by twice trash, an introduction video which has over 600k views. It'd would be a joy to watch and very interactive with your viewers if you do a reaction to it which I highly recommend ^^
Btw the girl that belted powerfully towards the end's name is Jihyo. She's the leader and main vocalist of the group, nicknamed Mic or God due to her amazingly powerful vocals. And the girl you said that has a nice tone is Dahyun, she's actually considered one of the weaker vocalists of the group, but she does indeed have a beautiful color to her voice. She's in charge with rap along with Chaeyoung, but I wish she focused more towards her singing over rapping so she her pretty voice can shine more. Anyways, thank you for this very insightful reaction to TWICE. Looking forward to more TWICE reactions in the future

A bit of advice...stop watching kpop, scrub any song from any of your playlists. You still have time to escape it's insidious clutches. Sadly, i was captured after hearing a song exactly 3 times. At this point I'm looking for a leave kpop support group...none exists.😃😂
