Hope everyone enjoys the video! It was such a blast doing this Collab with Kaze especially since it's from a series that we both adore. Clannad is my favourite series of all time, so I hope we did it justice! - Kevin
Like how you did After Story justice in its respective video, you really did the KyouVA justice in this one. I already really liked Kyou to the point that she's my second favorite right after Nagisa, so her OVA made me appreciate her more. Meanwhile your video in turn made me appreciate her OVA more lol
Thank you! That really means a lot, seriously 🙏 To be totally honest, I think I go even further with the section I did in Kevin’s channel, so if you haven’t watched that yet, I highly recommend you do so 🙂
Clannad means so much to me. Like so many others during the pandemic, I wanted to fill a hole in my heart, so about two years ago, I decided to get into anime. Clannad was one of the first shows that I watched and still, I vividly remember bawling my eyes out to it. It really has changed my perspective on bonds we form with others. From the amazing storytelling, characters who feel like genuine people - all interwoven perfectly with eachother. Every time I see a scene from this show, I get emotionally overwhelmed - a weird mix of nostalgia and sadness, knowing the journey the show depicts. I really wish I could re-watch the series, but somehow just can't bring myself to do it, even though it's surely the best anime I have seen to date. Not a single piece of media has ever done that to me since and I tip my hat to that. Maybe in a few years time, I'll be able to watch this piece of art again with someone dear to me.
Bro, thanks a lot for your videos I'd love you to talk about really underground anime, you do amazingly good structured reviews and interpretations. Thanks a lot Talking about this video, the ending of this episode is just beautiful. How she sweetly embraces him at the end just talking about the weather... I don't know, is just beautiful to me.
Nothing can compare to the emotions that clannad made me feel, the main show and after story, they in themself are near perfect, without actually being perfect, and the 2 special episodes, for kyou and tomoyo, they showed what could have been, and that achieving what you want, is not as easy as it may look
Can't believe that on the third video on Clannad when i was sure that my emotions were settled about it, they still came to surface and made me feel things. Anyways wonder if you'll ever play the visual novel of it and do another analysis on it or just compare both the anime and the source material xD
I started watching Anime during the first lockdown to try and feel something other then anger at the world. I deliberately chose emotional anime's but by the Gods i didn't know the absolute rollercoaster i was in for. Anohana, Your Lie in April, A Silent Voice, Violet Evergarden, Plastic Memories, Kanon, Air, Angel Beats and others. Of all of them, Clannad utterly destroyed me. Even a single image from it causes me to break down and as much as i enjoy your content i simply can't watch this video. I'll give it a thumbs up though :)
I Didn't Really Like Anime Until I Just sat down And Watched It And I really Got into it There's So Much Good Animes Out There It even teach me life lessons. I Guess I turned onto a Big Weeb Some Guy in The comments Of a Anime Video was like 50 And still Watching Anime There was no amount Of respect I had for that dude bro was pushing P Fr. it doesn't Matter How old you, r Nor. what You Like As Long As You Like like it Who tf care's people judge others Clannad Is a really Good Anime It's taught me a lot.Anime and Video Games it's just a escape From life And Some time's life is really a Bitch. I suggest Watching Toradora And my team romantic comedy Really Good One's.
To me, this OVA was the peak of Clannad, and I am glad my intuition told me to watch it last, for I see it as the true ending of the series (most people will disagree, ofc. . .)
Your dialogue are too rigid. You are speaking off a script, I don't feel like you're talking/sharing your information, it's like you're reading off a script/reading/throwing forced information the viewer. Your speech pattern is the same as someone who is trying hard to put emotions into his voice; instead, you should speak your mind, speak your thoughts because or else your videos will feel natural. This is a tip that totalbiscuit passed on to youtubers.

If you haven't already, watch Violet Evergarden. A visual and emotional masterpiece.

Maybe one day. Who knows? But it’s not in my plans for now, sniff 😢 Nevertheless, I’m glad our video was able to impact you in some way!

Loved the vid! Where did you found the raw footage in high quality? I only find the raw episodes in 480p lol
The best anime I have ever watched.
