Playing Nuvole Bianche for my Wife on our Wedding Day!

- I have always been into Music and playing Instruments, but I had never touched a Piano. My wife and I loved Nuvole Bianche since we started dating.. it was always "our" song. So to absolutely blow her mind I decided to self teach myself the song and preform it for her at our Wedding. I would try to practice for at least 30 minutes a day when she wasn't home. That being said, I am by no means a Pianist, and this isn't perfect, but it was my best shot! I hope you can enjoy!
Showing your wife the time and dedication that you spent into learning, perfecting, and preparing for this performance is the way of showing her you will do the same in every aspect of your marriage. Well done and congratulations!

I was married to a beautiful Asian girl for 7 years, together for 13. A month ago, I found out that she was cheating on me for the second time and I told her to pack up and leave. She was my world. It's not what I want, but I know it's what needs to happen. She's still seeing her new boyfriend anyway, probably in his arms as I type this and we're not even yet divorced. Nuvole Bianche is the one song I can't listen to without bawling my eyes out. It's always been a favorite, but now it just reminds me of both the good times shared as well as the love lost. The song itself just sounds like blossoming love, then that love fading and dying. Joyous and sad at the same time. To say this video hit home for me right now is an understatement. Bravo man, and I wish you better luck than I had.

@@TG0DS Appreciate it man, and thanks for sharing! If I'm being honest, I didn't really just stumble onto the video. I mean, only kind of I guess. Prior to my comment, I had spent the last hour searching for and listening to Nivole Bianche cover videos over and over. I wanted to experience all of the different versions out there. Right now, it's nearly impossible for me to feel joy. In fact, I'm finding it's difficult for me to feel much emotion at all. Sadness is the one emotion I can feel, and sadness is somehow better than the numb nothingness I feel the rest of the day. Listening to this one specific song makes me weep like a baby and I just can't help it. For whatever reason, shortly after bawling my eyes out while listening to sad music is the one brief moment of reprieve I get these days where I feel normal again. I used to be one of the happiest people you could have met. I'm hoping some day this song can go back to sounding happier and more inspiring and less sad like it used to be for me.

I spot this too... strange that it sounds very good without sustain pedal. I thought may be he set some settings on the piano which simulate the pedal.

This is basically a morning piece which describes the implicit beauty of mother nature ...playing this piece in the morning is like worshipping nature, the earth the whole world. It really has some meaning when a man dedicates these pieces...it's like a manner of interpretating that she means the whole world to him.

Learning a song because you are able to memorise the right keys and play them well enough is no substitute for the knowledge and understanding that you can acquire with years of training and study. It takes a lot of discipline and consistency. Knowing Mary had a little lamb does not make you a pianist. Its like saying that because you solved a first grade equation you are a mathematician, because you can draw a tree you are an artist.
@@kiara4345 As a professional piano teacher, I must say that you are wrong. If you are performing the verb, then you ARE a pianist. Yes it is elitist to say that people who do not perform to the level of elite concert pianists - are not pianists.
This is coming from someone who has dedicated his whole life to music. This man dedicated time and practice to perform this piece for his Wife. To me, that is being a musician and a pianist. Yes, there are levels of Pianism but it is all the same to me. Anyone who dedicates to learning an instrument, deserves the description of being a musician. Just my opinion.

I started playing the piano as a hobby, wasn't great at it but I tried anyways. I also met my then girlfriend and we both really liked Nuvole Bianche. 3 years into our relationship, I found out that she was cheating for 2 months and I was shattered. We broke things off but I got back into piano and learned this piece. I can't help but see what could have been when watching this video, but this piece is one that resonates with many different emotions. Thank you for playing this beautiful piece for your wife and may you both have a great marriage together.
