first time i have seen one of your video.you done a diffrent way of glitter on canvas. i will try it .i will try and find more of your videos to see what else you do.
Just found this video. Do cool. I couldn’t find a follow up video showing what you can go with this after. Would love to know what you can fo with this after. Thanks
That was so awesome! I had my doubts about the Moshe podge cover and would have tried to find resin, it looks nice though, almost a muted glitter which is less bright for the eyes. Prettyness!
Thanks! I've been doing this for about 3 years, and I haven't noticed any change in the canvas. I would expect it would last quite a while as long as it doesn't come into contact with something that will melt the mod podge (isopropyl, etc)
Probably! I've never done it, but I do have a bit of experience using resin on canvas. I would be concerned about bubbles. It seems like the glitter would cause quite a few. Keep a heat gun close!
hi thanks for sharing so after the last coat of mod podge I want to do some writing on it would I put more mod podge after the writing or just leave it alone?
You could do either! It just depends on the finish that you're after. If you're going to mod podge it, I would pour the MP in the middle and tilt the canvas to cover it. Brush strokes might mess up your writing.
I'm really not sure how a photo canvas would react to the mod podge. I'm assuming it would be fine, but I would test a small part of the canvas first. Just to make sure it doesn't mess up the image in some way.
@@ameerasanofer1629 Ah. I've never tried using either with glitter in this application. However, once the glitter is glued down, it's pretty much going to stay there. You could attempt to remove it with water (I think elmers is water soluable), but I wouldn't get my hopes up.
I like it. No resin needed. Quick, simple, easy. Beautiful
Thank you!

This is exactly what I needed.

I'm so glad it worked! Sorry I just saw this!
Thanks gonna make something I saw at the store so cool
This super cool👍👍, can i ask you for how long will the glitter last on the canvas

Can’t go wrong with glitter.
Truer words have never been spoken.
Hey can you please tell me will markers would work on this glitter texture?
Sharpies might, but I wouldnt expect standard markers to work well
Can I apply the modge on dry acrylics paint, and do the same effect on different parts, without ruining the paint? :)
As long as the acrylic is dry, I don't see a problem! That doesn't mean you'll find an unexpected one though, lol Have fun with it!
Hi, instead of using MP for the final sealing part ,could you use resin?... thanks
Probably! I've never done it, but I do have a bit of experience using resin on canvas. I would be concerned about bubbles. It seems like the glitter would cause quite a few. Keep a heat gun close!
@@byBess many thanks :)
Is there a specific reason as to why you poured the mp instead of brushing it on when doing the final coat?
Yes, pouring the mp avoids the use of a brush, which would add brush stroke textures to the final product.
@@byBess ooooooooooooh okay. Makes sense. Thank you.
@@queenrdb You're welcome!
Does it dry up and look shiny or do you have to recoat it with glitter?

by Bess ok yeah that’s what I was thinking if it would mess up the writing thanks for the reply 🙂
Do I have to put the top layer coat of mod podge?
Yes, otherwise it's not smooth
So you just did a top layer of modge podge and it dried like that?!
You got it!
Does it still have texture to it?
@@Lexcolorshair it's a bit bumpy, but nothing crazy
How long do u let it dry before u put the second coat of glue on?
Drying time depends on how thick the mod podge is. You can tell it's dry because it becomes completely clear.
Could you do this over a photo canvas if u didn't use as much glityer and just sprinkled it on instead
I'm really not sure how a photo canvas would react to the mod podge. I'm assuming it would be fine, but I would test a small part of the canvas first. Just to make sure it doesn't mess up the image in some way.
Hey hw to clean or wipe off glitter from canvas.? I used Fevicol to apply some glitter on it. Nw I wanna remove it as iam unhappy about the result
I'm sorry, I don't know what Fevicol is.
@@byBess Fevicol is like Elmers glue or Tacky glue.
