What the people want does not matter to the people leading them. This applies to every single major power, and a large percentage of the minor ones too. Israel has been defending against rocket and missile attacks from the adherents of the religion of peace for decades now. It's what prompted development of their robust missile defence systems like Iron Dome. This attack, though massive, was well within the capability of the systems they've had to put in place to protect themselves.
@@a24396nope, there was a coordinated defense, and even saudi and jorden were participating with their own air defense. We don't know if it was the same result if it was just israel.
