I did random tandem drifting in freeroam with 4 other people yesterday and it was so much fun - the drifting physics are really cool, and the drift events too,although there could be more of them.
@Chaseiscool693 matter of time before you get banned. They crack down on those easily. Also whats the point of cheating in the game? You just ruined all the fun part of grinding. (Agree its bit to much but still better then cheating)

IMO Fathom feels like a Tandem Drift car. You can eat doors with it, but I think the Remus is better for Solo drifting. It feels lighter and if you are comfortable driving aggressive you can put together some really nice lines.
they should allow you to be able to add the tune to every car but by the looks of it gta 6 will more then likely have the ability to choose tunes with there being rally tunes race tunes and probably many more
The Futo GTX is good enough with normal upgrades/following a build IMO: Its made to be driven like a tofu driver instead of a drifty boi (idk what its call but when u left foot brake to shift weight and then just get ur tyres slipping on the edge of traction/drift)

I feel with the Yosemite Drift is slow because it's a muscle as well so it's laying down more rubber to the black top then needed. I do agree on the position for the ranking. 5:18, Hate to disagree, Steve, but I love the ZR350 even without the drift tune, but to quote Jeremy Clarkson, even though the Calico GTF might be brilliant, I like the ZR350, sure it's a bit tail-happy, but considering the RX-7 FD is my favorite car of all time, you can tell how happy I was for it to return, even if it doesn’t have the best stats. Still though, the ZR350 is my go to drift car with the new tuning option.
I just started playing about a month back and just got a couple drift cars, having the most fun driving. So far I have the Remus and the ZR350, and I find the 350 much easier to get sliding. Next on my list the GTX.
ive tested everything, they all have their specialities ive noticed, some can hold drifts out really well while some turn better while drifting, some are faster drifting. i think from easiest to hardest goes; Futo GTX, Drift Tampa, ZR350, Jester RR, Euros, FR36, Remus, drift Yosemite.
Surprised that the Remus was so high on the list. It’s the one and only car that I have thats tunable. I was thinking about getting one that looks more stylish cuz the Remus is a little bit boring to look at.
@@masquatchi doubt it'll be like that. gta 6 is a whole different game, wouldn't make sense to transfer gta 5 online data to gta 6. that just makes things more complicated. maybe we'll be compensated for our data on gta 5, but i doubt able to transfer data.
With Drifting cars you have to consider what the cars modifications are, such as how heavy the car may be which can give you a clean drift but over carry the speed In a heavy weighted car, you can over steer or over power the corner you want to take. Meaning it can be more harder to slow down In. A light weighted car with a good tuning can give you the best results with drift controlling. But overall. Knowing the cars weakness with Drifts or Power slides can improve your drifting if you take practice and understand how fast you should be or what the best time is to break. This is just for those that never thought about this type of info when it comes to drifting In a game or IRL.
This theory is discussed a lot more in my drift tuning guide - to sum it up here, aesthetics really don't make a huge difference here in GTA, a lot of it is placebo effect. For IRL drifting, your point mostly applies.

Like you said, it's all personal preference. My personal ranking is: #8 - Drift Yosemite. It's heavy.. which can make it slow and difficult to respond correctly.. Fun fact about the Drift Yosemite though: It's the only drift car that can perform a wheelie (and the fact that the wheelie and handbrake are the same key probably creates some conflicting results) #7 - Drift Tampa. Too snappy.. I think the only reason some players like this so much is because they oversteer the other drift cars. #6 - Remus. This thing wants to drive, not drift.. it just wants to go straight, not sideways.. #5 - Euros. Now we move into the responsive and fun drift cars.. I just placed Euros at the bottom because it's the most sensitive to steering adjustments. #4 - Jester RR. Smoother and easier to control than the Euros, but not as nimble as the Futo GTX. #3 - Futo GTX. Small, nimble car, with a light weight making any corrections a bit easier to complete. #2 - FR86. New car popularity, enjoyable livery designs, and very clean look. Who doesn't want to drift a G35? #1 - ZR350. This car is the embodiment of GTA Drifting. The ZR350 just drifts better.. the FR86 driftability is closer to that of the Jester RR with a dash of the Futo GTX nimbleness.. When you exclude the new gen car factor, the ZR350 has the FR86 beat.. but if you have both in their Falken inspired liveries, they look great parked side by side too..

My favourite is the Jester RR, the FR36 is ok but it didnt blow me away, the Futo is great for slow drifts to show off the Princess Robot Bubblegum livery.

Doesn’t change anything, once you get drift tuning all advantages from customizing go away; making it its own a baseline drift car and if you take the drift timing off than advantages from your customizations will be back on your car such as engine tuning and spoiler attributes
I think the futo is by far the best for drifting in freemode because of how small and nimble it is. So satisfying to drift between cars, all the other cars on the list are too fat compared to the AE86
I literally had to search it up because I thought my game was glitched, I wanted to drift some of the muscle cars but the shit didn't pop up for them. Completely ruined my mood, and yeah so many other cars need drift tuning 💯
If you car already have low grips, when u put drift upgrade, the vehicle still have low grips, I wonder if it changes something or not, can you test it?
i bought the reemus first very nice but just had a lack of power feeling. then got the ZR350 the update made it feel solid holy crap has awesome power slaps the transitions but it didnt hold long drifts as much as the reemus. got the fr36 and it felt sloppy too long didnt hold an angle or slap as hard so i sold it already. havent tried any others yet but might try it the 350z
The top 3 cars I’ve lost to have been the Futo, FR, and ZR. Also the Futo has immense power? It is noting you may need the engine upgrades before applying the drift tune as it seems the upgrades still apply when they shouldn’t
What I like the most about this update is that this is the first update that introduces a new class and races that actually has all cars be competitive and able to win, even if you take a stock one. I like that they are so close together in terms of performance but are also different enough to each other that they don't all feel the same.
I bought the RX7 looking but drifting wise its hard to keep it in momentum. It has a slow acceleration to so its sometimes hard to get it going and keeping it that way.
Stick with the tampa , the car he ranked for number 1 has lack of power , it struggles I’ve been doing reverse entry’s and drifts with the tampa i listened to this list of cars bought the car for 1.6m because of how he explained it , and realised how slow it is , the tampa definitely is the fastest out of all of these and feels easier and smoother , the last car is heavy but it’s slow and that’s the problem youl face when it comes to sharp corners
If you want to fix this problem where it’s struggles with power I added the lowest suspension and it made up for it 👍 without the suspension the car lacks for sure
Yea hes talking only bullshit. Even the Remus is better than the FR36. The FR36 loses power very fast on longer turns and you can rarly get big angles on long turns. Remus does it effortlessly.
@@MediaEdits2701 yeah because the game is quite arcade-y and force feedback isnt a need its perfect with my numbskull wheel and i can configure the built-in sequential gear for a makeshift handbrake since the game is automatic gearing (without mods lol) so yeah youl have great fun 👍👍
the drift tampa is awd for some reason (atleast it was the last time i tried it) so it might mess with the drifting edit: for the futo gtx, it says that the normal price is cheaper than the trade price lol
I didn't change/mod anything that would affect the amount of smoke. I think all of the drift tuning cars are tweaked to generate more smoke than normal, but I'm not certain of that.

They’re all mostly the Same with the Drift Mechanic. The Infinity is pretty good though.
Pro tip, set the time of day to night. Gives the drift races a proper NFS Underground vibe lol

don't forget to fully upgrade your engine and turbo before you apply the drift tune
once u apply drift tuning all the upgrades go away, dont do this you will just end up wasting your money

Honestly sounds like the Futo GTX is true to it's inspiration, competing with the big boys only if you have the confidence to push it to it's limits.

Drift tuning disables any form of stancing and low-grip tires.

If u want wide angels go g35 for a faster pace one drift and futo for more of a smaller amount of movement
No for wide angles buy the Remus. The FR36 loses speed in long turn fast, the Remus rarly loses speed or its high RPM's.
I thought the zr350 was lack luster in regular races and sold it smh I’ll go buy it again I guess

Stick with the tampa , the car he ranked for number 1 has lack of power , it struggles I’ve been doing reverse entry’s and drifts with the tampa i listened to this list of cars bought the car for 1.6m because of how he explained it , and realised how slow it is , the tampa definitely is the fastest out of all of these and feels easier and smoother , the last car is heavy but it’s slow and that’s the problem youl face when it comes to sharp corners
If you want to fix this problem where it’s struggles with power I added the lowest suspension and it made up for it 👍 without the suspension the car lacks for sure
yes the tampa is really good, imho he is not that good in drifting in gta to compare these cars...
Yea hes talking only bullshit. Even the Remus is better than the FR36. The FR36 loses power very fast on longer turns and you can rarly get big angles on long turns. Remus does it effortlessly.

@@MediaEdits2701 yeah because the game is quite arcade-y and force feedback isnt a need its perfect with my numbskull wheel and i can configure the built-in sequential gear for a makeshift handbrake since the game is automatic gearing (without mods lol) so yeah youl have great fun 👍👍

The reason it's AWD is because it's based on a AWD car.

I didn't change/mod anything that would affect the amount of smoke. I think all of the drift tuning cars are tweaked to generate more smoke than normal, but I'm not certain of that.

This new drift tuning is only available in GTA Online. Single player drifting is possible, but it's done a lot differently than this.
i mostly use street if the cars too gripy i just put muscle tires
Tires don't make that big of a difference, personal preference is really all that matters with wheels.
