Hello po! For finding part-time job as an int'l student, mas recommended po ba na maghanap ng office job or not? And paano po usually maghanap ng part-time job?
Courses per term, depends kung ilan ang course mo in total at ilan gusto mong kunin per sem. I have 16 courses, so tag apat po per sem. Per week, ang pasok sa school depende kung ang kinuha mo ay online or face to face at depende din kung ilang araw mo gusto pumasok sa school. I did 3 days of school during my 1st sem. 2 days of school lang nung next 2 sems. May night classes. Usually 6-9pm. Weekend, wala po. So far wala po ako nakita na course available ng weekend 😊

Don't know anyone but all type of engineers here heard are really in demand. With Victoria that is really a progressive place, for sure there will be work for you.

Hello, we are living with relatives po :) For the house prices dito sa BC, opo, mas mahal ang houses in Canada than in the US. Especially sa major places in Canada like BC and Ontario po.

@@John_Dizon Student can work 20hrs per week. Recently, Canada changed it, International student can now also work full time. Summer break yes, pwede din po mag full time.
Hi! I take 4 courses per sem. Required is at least enrolled to 3 courses to have full-time student status and retain student permit. For co-op, haven't decided yet. For my program it's optional so I'll still check if will do it.

We live in Colwood. Around UVIC apartments, I heard medyo mahirap daw po maghanap right now but usually meron pa rin naman pong nakikita. Good luck on your visa application. See you here in Canada. 😊
