But all that changed when I saw a documentary about wildlife in the American desert, and the grand finale of that documentary showed one battling and eventually being killed by a Red-Tailed Hawk. Since then I've seen them get beaten by Red-Tailed Hawks, Common Kingsnakes, and even Roadrunners. Basically, Rattlesnakes require VERY specific stats to defeat them. You have to have either extremely high resiliency to their venom, or you have to move even FASTER than they can.
