I like what Dorian said " never stop believing & good things will happen " I do like to think in the power of positive thinking. Anything u want bad enough will happen or work out
To make things more sweet for Cassie aside from having her miracle child, her mother will be free from death row the very next week! It's a fresh new start after everything she'd been through since losing William!
The show in 94 seemed pretty balanced , James depaiva would complain in the press " the long haired kid gets all the stories. Todd was a character that comes along once a generation. He won an Emmy his first year & was 24 wildly popular & a complex new character. U guess he forgets when he started he got all the air time. His gambling addiction story was a big story. U also had Dorian on trial & going to death row reigniting her fued with viki & the intro to David. So thanks for posting 94 this is the last great year on oltl.
Idk why oltl went downhill after 84 was over. This was exciting stuff. The sensational stories were strong. Soon, it would be a show I would not recognize. I also believe in 94 that oltl was among the top 5 in ratings(there were 10.soaps back then) which proves OLTL was getting back on track.
@@davidbrunson8407 I think after 94 it went downhill b/c the exec producer Linda gottlieb left & what she produced was hardly what u can say was just another soap. It's brilliant won a bunch of emmys ,& was critically acclaimed. In 91 , Paul Rauch lasts year he clearly ran out if gas. It's hard to produce a soap for 7 years. Also Malone 's right hand man Josh Griffith left as well. Malone clearly needed to be reigned & have collaborators. In 95 Malone was given free reign & he Def went adrift on his own. The new e.p. probably thought this guy won an emm6 for best writing so I won't mess w/ success. She obviously didn't realize how gottleb & Griffiths contributions were so much more important to the success & down right brilliant the show achieved. Also oltl went from almost last place in 91 up to 5th in a matter of months. I believe Megan's death was a big part of it. The show hit no. 2 for 2 weeks during the climax of the rape trial. Oltl had not been that high I believe since they hit no. 1 at the climax of the faux bo story. Him being electrocuted w/ didi & Tina going out the lighthouse Window. 85 the show was no. 1 for months during Tina & mitchs torrid affair & the revelation that Tina was victors daughter & Andrea Evans had just returned & Rauch was smart to put her front & center as the shows ingenue. Other producers before when Andrea was there although very young they tried pat Ashley & Samantha vernon. Both fizzled fast. Also Judith licht was the big Emmy winner on the show until she left in very early 83.
