Linda is an amazing singer and gorgeous lady that I have had a crush on her since the early 1970s. I attended hundreds of concerts but to my regret somehow never made it see her perform live. I was watching an video recently about the legendary community of Laurel Canyon with all the great artist who lived there, especially during mid sixties through mid seventies and learned that early in their careers, Steve Martin and Linda Ronstad were a couple. I would have never guessed that.
The most beautiful female voice on earth. What a huge talent! Forty years of performances in multiple genres and two languages. Many many well deserved awards and honors for this stunning woman! Nice reaction. 🌺✌️
I Love Me some Linda Ronstadt! That Song came off of One of My Favorite Albums of Her's. Linda has a Way of Lyrically touching the Spirit without even trying.
An absolute favorite of mine. I love the whole vibe of this song and the switch-up of the lyrics from the beginning when "...you know that may be what I need: someone to lay down beside me..." to the ending realization "...someone to lay down beside me. You just can't ask for more." Great performance, this live version sounds exactly like the record. She's astounding.
I chose this because it is one of my favorite songs of hers. As always, her live performances sound at least as good as the original recording or better. I love the piano intro also which is not on the album version. So many songs of hers to choose from. There will be more to come! I saw her live several times and it was always perfection.
Hey frieeeeen it's jjones! You're so young but you have an old soul! Love it! Your voice is very animated. I can so much see you doing voice overs for Disney and so many more! I'm soooo glad you're okay I thought Corona had came through! Love me some Linda Ronstadt. 💗💐👑
If you listened to pop radio in the 70s you heard Linda. She was a constant presence. I looked at her discography to help me decide which of her 70's hits was my favorite. That was a mistake. I couldn't decide. (Overall, it's "Still Within The Sound of My Voice" from 1989.)
I actually knew that. Don't know much about Karla but if this is a sample of her talents, then kudos many times over. I know she also sings, I will look her up and get a sample perfirmance. Blessings to you, Chuck in NC
Unlike many successful performers she was always seeking new challenges. Even while at the top of the charts she took the part of Mabel in Gilbert & Sullivan's operetta Pirates of Penzance on Broadway to great acclaim. She explored many different genres outside rock-country, mariachi, folk, as well as classics from the great American songbook in her three albums with Nelson Riddle and his orchestra among others. All the suggestions others have given are excellent, I'd add "What's New" or "I'm a Fool to Want You" from her Riddle collaborations and "La Charreada" for mariachi. From her peak years there is also "Desperado", "Prisoner in Disguise", "Adios" and if you're looking for something more uptempo "It's So Easy" or "Tumbling Dice".
You've also done "Hurts so Bad." Luckily there's still so many more amazing songs by her for you to still encounter. She's great and so is your reaction.
Please do more Donna Summer! Bad Girls, love to love you, dim all the lights, this time i know its for real,Macarthur Park, heaven knows. In my opinion the best singer who ever lived and so overlooked! Linda rondstat is great too! But Donna is more.versatile but people don't know that because they only know her by her many hits!
She is probably the best female singer in decades and my fave of all time, but you have to become a Patreon to request songs. There are many Donna Summer sounds on this channel so people will get to them, I know I will be
Long song....I'm falling asleep...all by myself...remember that song...All by myself"? That song would be...right on today...with the way the world is today. Everybody's texting alone.
Oh my favorite lady with her beautiful songs. Her voice is so awesome and she can sing so many different genres. I love you, Linda! ❤️ ❤❤❤

Love that song....all by myself...we shouldn't have to be all by ourselves.
You've also heard "You're No Good"
Yep that's right and it was 🔥🔥
React to "Victim" by Candi Staton.
Please React to the official music video "Somewhere Out There" by Linda Ronstadt and James Ingram.
you also did 'youre no good'. you should try 'get closer'
That's right‼I forgot. Hopefully someone requests it
Well...
Linda means beautiful in Spanish.
She was part Mexican.
Wow, didn't know that was the meaning of Linda
@@EmpressReacts pronounced LEEN-dah... accent 1st syllable
She still is. She's not dead.
listen to her Spanish songs sometime
One of the greatest mistakes in the music world is Linda losing her voice. Such a tragedy.
