Ashley joined The Pussycat Dolls in 2002 when they had 13 members before they were even signed to see her 7 years later staying committed to the group is amazing.

It´s completely logical, I think. The classic situation -seen in bands, in work places & even amongst friends in day2day relationships- where the front guy, the leader, gets automatically isolated from the rest. It´s a common human behaviour, intentional or not, & works at varied levels & to different extents.
Somehow, the 2nd-line girls (driven by envy, pride or just self protection) try & balance by aligning themselves "against" the main girl, just simply for being so.
