A quick look at your first flight experience end to end. Also check out some of the progression steps to becoming an expert flyer and making this your sport.
My 2 sons have done it before but in 2 weeks both my sons and my 10 year old grandson will be doing it i cant wait for my grandson to do it he is so excited xxx
Hi Carlos, it depends on the persons fitness, how regularly they fly, any translatable skills etc. For someone with reasonable fitness who flies each week or two, they could fly head down comfortably within 10-20 hours.
The floor is a thick braided wire net (airplane cable). Under that are the vents that the air blows through. I have seen 8 full grown men on the net WITH NO AIR GOING. They have a rigorous maintenance program where they check everything, everyday before the first group flies.
Totally disliked it to be honest, but it was a fun experience. I guess I expected it to be like a zero gravity thing lol. Just a word of advice, if you have any medical issues etc, do not risk it. It takes quite a toll on you. My cousin couldn't breathe in the chamber. Yeah there is a lot of air, but I found myself also struggling to breathe, but not at an extreme level. He has asthma so, it took a toll on him. If you have any muscular issues etc, you will struggle to maintain the position. They do give you a form to sign, on it they state that you are saying you are athletic, so it is probably a wise idea not to do it if you have medical issues (no matter how slight), something which they probably should have informed my cousin of before he paid... but even so, they told him he would be able to breathe fine when he asked, which was true on the first flight, but his second flight was where the air pressure became an issue. So, just be cautious of that.
I forgot, but it's like a fan beneath you with enough air pressure to keep you suspended in the air, once you HOLD the position. If you don't you will fall to the ground (not fall like die, like your body will just drift back down and not be elevated). The position is key, that is what keeps you afloat.
EthanCruise actually there is a fan above which circulated the air and goes under to blow you up. If you fall you will land on the net. Lloyd, if you haven’t done it yet, you should def try it. It is a bit expensive but it’s worth it.
I didn't want to go, but someone Forced me to go. When I first got in the tube, I was HORRIFIED, it got pretty fun. about 5 seconds later I got pushed up to the ceiling 4 times. I tried to hold in my screams The worst part was trying to hold my breath for a a minute
