Please sir, I have a question. My concern is how to really make the alarm goes off when a line is cut and not breach. (2) Can the live out and live in be connected from the same side of the fence, that is the same spot but to first and last line as you explained now. Sorry I don't know if you got what I'm trying to say?
Absolutely, I understand your question. The FENCE OUT and FENCE IN are different terminals. They are separate terminals under the energiser. The reason why the alarm goes off when it's cut is because, the electric fence operates with a closed circuit principle also, anything that makes it open triggers an alarm also.
@@isaacmwangi7038 9000-10000volts. But it's DC and not AC. You must understand that your volts comes in in pulses. To test the output voltage, try get an electric fence scope from Nemtek
Both have their advantages and disadvantages. For stainless steel, it's difficult to break(cut) but has less conductivity, but Aluminium 1.6 has a higher conductivity but is easier to break(cut). For me professionally, depending on the environment and purpose you need to use it, you choose any of your choices. The stainless is more expensive but aluminium covers a larger span compared to stainless. For example, if I am covering a 3km/8 lines perimeter span of fence, and I am using aluminium, I can use 3 to 4 energisers and my fence will work efficiently, but if I decide to use stainless steel, I will be thinking of a minimum of 5 energisers. If you are using an electric fence for an animal farm, I will always recommend stainless steel. But if it's a factory, I would recommend the Aluminium. The factory is a work zone and you have personnel always around different locations.
@@defotechtv9093 Sir, I am only using wires above the boundary walls of my house. The total area is around 155 running feet only. One energiser is going to be used. Suggest in these settings. The company that is offering to install says that the pole distance from one pole to another would be 10 feet.
Please note, under the energiser has 4 terminals, 1- Live OUT 2. Live RETURN 3. Earth OUT 4. Earth RETURN . When the first cable leaves the OUT terminal to feed the fence, after supplying all cables on the live line, it goes to the RETURN terminal.
The best way out is to make the seven sides has just one earth line and 6 live, while the side with 8 lines would maintain the standard config of 6 live and 2 earth.

Well, it's also fine and ok. It will work. But we from my looping configuration, I just love how balanced it looks to the eyes . But don't get me wrong, yours is also very correct.
Hi bro you doing job keep it up Mick from kenya.

very infromative sir we will appreciate if you do a practical tutorial where you install and put everything together. Thanks
I will try and see how this is possible soonest

Hi im sylvester i have understood very well on live configuration .
What about earthing configuration
Earthing can either be parallel or series, maybe I will need do a video on this too.
good job, kindly shed more light on neutral
Electric fence doesn't use neutral to operate. It uses only live line and earth line.
Hello sir , from kenya salute,
my question is how many volt does the live wire on fence have???

Please confirm if Stainless Steel wires are better or Aliminium 1.6 mm wire is better?

@@bilalraza4751 Yes, 10feet to 11feet is fine. You can use any of the wires for this, even if it's stainless, 1 energiser is just sufficient.
What size of energizer use for 600 by 600 metres square
Wizord 4 will do, if you are using 1.6mm aluminum wires
What do u mean when you say return ? Does the return wire go to the same point or there are two points for live and two points for earth .
Please note, under the energiser has 4 terminals,
1- Live OUT
2. Live RETURN
3. Earth OUT
4. Earth RETURN .
When the first cable leaves the OUT terminal to feed the fence, after supplying all cables on the live line, it goes to the RETURN terminal.
The earth wire is it not going to leave the Energizer to the earth in the fence wire
It will. They are all linked. With the Energiser, fence wires and the earth rods.

WHat of a situation where the energizer is at the middle of the fence
The easiest way is to complete the looping at both ends, then break it at the middle.
pls when do we learn gate contactor
Do you mean gate contact for electric fence? That's how it is connected?
what if you do from top to bottom
