There are markets twice a month at Toji Temple
Toji Temple [Kyogokokuji Temple] No. 1, Kujo-cho, Minami-ku, Kyoto Postcode 601-8473
Scrap and Iron Market (Karako City) on the first Sunday of every month (5:00-16:00)
Hongfa Market on the 21st of every month (8:30-17:30)
What is the difference between the two markets? The first Sunday market has fewer stalls. Due to the low rent, the goods are cheap and easy to detect leaks.
Kobo Market is one of the two major monthly markets in Kyoto. It is grander, with more and more complete goods and more stalls.

Toji Temple is actually not far from Kyoto Station. If you ride a bicycle, you can reach Toji Temple in about 15 minutes from Kyoto Station. There is a free parking lot (for bicycles) at the north gate of Toji Temple, and bicycles can also be parked under the big tree at the east gate.

每個月第一個週日的破銅爛鐵集市（カラクダ市）（5:00-16:00）
每個月21日的弘法市（8:30-17:30）
兩個集市有什麼不同呢，第一個週日的集市，攤位較少，由於租金低，所以貨品價格便宜，容易檢漏
弘法市是京都每月兩大集市之一，比較盛大，貨品更多更全，攤位較多。
交通：
71,78,19號公車（京都車站前） → 71,78,19號公車（東寺東門前）
16號公車（京都車站前） → 16號公車（東寺西門前）
208號公車（京都車站前） → 208號公車（東寺南門前）
東寺距離京都車站其實不遠，騎腳踏車的話，從京都車站出發到東寺大約 15 分鐘內必可到達，東寺的北門可以有免費駐車場（腳踏車），東門進門大樹下面也可以停腳踏車。
