So in this video I wanted to try something new. Y'all know I love shopping, but obviously we can't go OUT and do that right now, so I needed a FIX! In this video I'm giving you a Stitch Fix Try-On + Review. I was really interested to try this out and see how the process works and whether or not I would like the items my stylist picked for me. I actually really like the concept and the service they provide. I think I'll make it an installment on my channel, let me know what you think about that idea?!

If you are a consummate bargain hunter then Stitch Fix ain't the place for ya! Lol. I continue to get fixes but I def can shop better on my own, more stylish - less money- often for the same brands. But it's fun having someone else style me sometimes!

You are so right about all the items being things you can find at Ross (or TJ Maxx or Marshall's) - maybe not those brands, but something similar. Vigoss Jeans used to be available only at Maurice's, but now are apparently going other places - and have always been expensive for what they are, especially for Maurice's. If Stitch Fix is carrying them, they have decided to offer lower price point items - maybe because people thought Stitch Fix was too expensive. You should stick to Ross and any other places where it is fun to hunt for bargains!

I think the prices are a little higher than I would spend shopping on my own but I am so so busy and time is money and I have wasted so many hours shopping and coming home with nothing. I was in desperate need of work clothes and stitch fix filled in the gaps for me. I would not use it for my casual cloths that I can be less picky about but for the office it was exactly what I need.

I’m getting my first box next week. Super excited! Researching other videos I saw people say if you love it keep it, if you’re not sure then it’s a no. If it’s an item that you aren’t sure about, you won’t wear it as much.

I agree. The pricing gets me every time! I feel like I could go to Ross or target and get similar items for half the price. However, I am trying to expand my wardrobe outside of the jeans and sneakers I usually wear. I’m thinking to use SF as a guide for how I should shop for myself. Also, the jeans fit perfect almost every time! I do splurge on them 😅
Yes...that's my biggest issue. But you can definitely customize your price range. Yea, I really enjoy getting the boxes even if I don't keep everything. It's just fun to me. But you are absolutely right! Any denim they have sent me thus far has fit perfectly! That alone is super impressive!

Cute. Just frustrating hearing about the price complaints when this is the point of the service. I just signed up with them and when I look at the price I minus $20 from it to give me an idea of what I’d really “pay”. For great fitting clothes and styling sometimes it worth the splurge to me
Tabitha agreed I’m new to stitch fix as well just received my 2nd fix a couple days ago. I don’t mind the splurge the material of the clothes I’ve received is so great and my jeans are nice and fitted. I love it. I’m not use to shopping for myself I basically stick to jeans and simple tops so I don’t mind somebody helping me out because for me personally it’s starting to help me be more adventurous with my wardrobe and help me put outfits together

I'm not sure why me giving a thorough review and giving insight to my thought process when making decisions on what to keep would frustrate you. But I guess everyone has there own triggers. For me, I explain why I felt the way I did on the pricing. I don't mind splurging on quality pieces and good material either however, the quality and style of some of the things I recieved, imo, was the same that I could pick up from a Marshall's, Ross or TJ Maxx. For me the fun in the box is seeing how someone else would style me. And again, as I did in this video, if it matches my style and I feel the quality is fitting of the price, I will keep the item. Even if you bear in mind the $20 that's still 20+ whatever the additional cost is, you're paying the full price still. So for me...if I dont think a shirt is worth $40 I'm not gonna get it just because all I have to pay is an additional $20. The shirt is still $40. I hope that makes sense. Anywho, I'm really enjoying seeing what they come up with each month for me thanks for watching ladies. ❤

No need to be scared LaLa. Set the pricing to as cheap as possible if that's what you want and you may not have an issue. I know on shirts I said as cheap as possible and they are sending anywhere from high 20's to high 40's on the shirts. I guess it's all relative. What's cheap to them may not be considered cheap to us. That may just be the cheapest in their inventory. I hope that made sense. But I do still enjoy getting the boxes. And I definitely think it's worth trying!

I love ❤️ that jumpsuit on you! So cute. What I found was - I get a fix every 3 months - but it’s those high quality basics or more unusual pieces I keep from them. I tend to wear my stitch fix clothes to death and they last a very long time so for me it makes the price worth it. But you were right the more ordinary stuff you see everywhere is definitely not worth it.

Everything looks great on you! The jumpsuit was perfect. I have found that most of the items I have kept washed well and still look just fine. I do wash most of them in cold water on the gentle cycle. I also use a mesh bag when there is any question of detail work getting damaged. Your makeup is stunning!
Agree - Brandie, you look great in all of the pieces so from that standpoint the options were good. So cute! It's interesting to listen to you break down your selection thought-process. Your makeup work is flawless here in that your eye color seemed to pop differently with the navy blue blouse vs. the maroon kimono. Nice. Love what you are doing! (On a side note -- you are stronger than me. I'm usually like, well it isn't a perfect match but it here already and ... long story short probably over-paid for some things that I really like but don't necessarily love).

Hi Brandie, I am a stylist with the Stitch Fix and the items that were sent are awesome. In terms of price some of them were in the friendlier range, but I understand. The romper looked awesome for you and the 38 bucks is a great price per wear. I agree that you should do a monthly unboxing and would love to style you!!!!!!

I like the earrings on you they are pretty but..... I do understand not wanting to pay that price it's a bit much. The jeans and the blue shirt also looked really good. And definitely the jumpsuit. It almost doesn't seem worth it unless you get the 25% off. If you're someone who doesn't want to deal with the hassle of shopping though it's perfect. Or like me you don't Branch out and try different things as much and instead just do simple black on black t-shirts and yoga pants. I might give sf a try.

SF is pricey but the quality of the pieces surpass discount store clothing. Some items can be found elsewhere for cheaper but they actually do price-match! Also, when you're lucky enough to get a 5 out 5 box that 25% off discount makes it that much more worthwhile. With that said, I love the jumpsuit and the kimono on you. The navy blouse was really nice too totally I totally agree with ya on the earrings.

Yes that true. I chose to have a mixture of price ranges because if the quality and material ate worth is, I will pay for it. I don't wanna miss out on any gems. I just didn't think the items that I was sent were worth the price tag other than the item I kept.

I'm a bargain hunter and love a deal, but sometimes SF has something I can't find anywhere else. I buy either one piece or (this happened once) the entire box. The jumpsuit looks great. My advice is to hang dry only.

Hey Brandie, The things you tried on from Stitch Fix look marvelous! This is a get what you pay for situation as it relates to fit and a service fee included for pulling things that you can mix and match when you style your outfits. I appreciate that you are a more bang for your buck fashionista, but your try-on has encouraged me to look at STITCH FIX.I like being able to order my true size and not have the fabric of the garments be a mess! Brandie I’m with you! I love clothes, handbags & makeup.. but I’m not a huge fan of paying full price. (Ok.. maybe for a handbag! LOL) Although the clothing seemed nice I thought the price points were more in line with Macy’s or higher end stores NOT on sale. Even at Macy’s or Nordstrom’s I shop the sales. So, I agree with your thinking. Quick question- I thought Stitch Fix allowed you to wear the pieces & then return? The requirement to return within 3 days would negate that. I must be mixing them up with other fashion subscriptions? If they’re charging $20 just for the privilege of “try on only” that’s steep IMHO. Finally, I did like the one-piece you decided to keep. It was very flattering on you. I’d love to find something like that to try for myself. I’m 5’10” & a 1 or 2x depending on the item. Seems like it might work for me as well. I totally agree with everything you said. And yes I definitely shop the sales at this places too and I always find really good stuff. No...you're not able to wear the clothes. I do think I've heard of one like that though. The $20 isn't really a charge, it's more like a credit towards your selection. I think that romper would actually work very well for you. Thank you. Yea I agree $200 is a lot of money. And then when I think of what all i could get for $200 at a place like Marshall's or Ross, it makes it even harder. But I do like the suspense and excitement of seeing what they select for me.
