Playing Legendary, came for a quick refresher. 2 things...
1 - to get her sale, go to get Garus--go back for a thank you from the doctor--go back to get the " help quest"--return for the sales.
2 - still works on Legendary
Works on the legendary edition as well.
I think theres a bug when you buy weapons with your money from expat to sell to the medic. That weapons gone and you cant buy it back
@@Tynewijne I was having this issue too. They only hold a certain amount in their buy back inventory. You have to sell from least to most expensive. For the first run and anytime you add anything to the mix. If that makes sense.
You can only buy back up to the last 20 items. Anything after 20 you lose. Just sell your 20 most expensive items and you'll be fine.
This 6 year old post saved me. I was wondering why i wasn't making much profit after so many damn trips.
This works beautifully. I am in Xbox360 and stated with just over 7k credits. Now I'm just shy of 100k in about 6 runs. Glad I read other comments though. Like someone else said, you cab only by back the last 20 items sold on console.
Just started playing on game pass, couldn't remember how to do it and found it on my own first time, thanks
I never played Mass Effect before and bought the LE while hearing about all the various glitches. When I attempted this one, I thought that they had patched it already. Turns out that I forgot to do the Doc's side quest, LOL. Thanks for explaining!
LOL, your closing line :"I should go"... that's classic Shepard...
2018....it is still working!
Just started ME1 legendary. Never played this game before 2024
@@eddieleavitt6362 finished the first game, doing ME 2 now. Big difference in graphics.
@@stephenphillips7699 huge. Tip: Upgrade shields, armor and cannon on the ship. You'll thank me.
It's not a bug, it's an exploit.
I believe there's a limit to buyback the LAST 20 items.
I'm pretty sure you're correct. I'm running the game via the Legendary collection right now, I'll update this post if it turns out to be different.
Just confirmed it IS the last 20 items. I know this is a bit of threadomancy, but I figured if anyone was wondering, there ya go.
Thank you and yes this is my favorite game also
Still working in 2020 at the middle of the pandemic!
So is it just me or do the Volus look like the tiny space invaders from the Twilight Zone series (the original black and white one)
Mass effect has a limit on how many items you can buy back (approximately 20). So only sell 20 as you will start loosing items otherwise
....and it still works. I just used it a few days ago. lol
I actually Tried This glitch and it's amazing I was able To buy Spectre level Weapons
For anyone interested in 2020-
Don’t just sell everything, sell only the 20 most expensive items you have because you can only buy back 20 at a time. Your most expensive stuff will get wasted if you don’t do that.
Those items you sold did you just get them from what you have acquired from the start of the game to that part or did you have to get them in shops or just thru missions?
on PS3 Trilogy September 21th 2015 the Glitch still work :D thk!
2020, still works! The only good thing about this year. Haha
Confirmed still works on PC. Latest patch installed.
Thanks dude. I'm playing it again right now and I'll have to try this out.
Cool video dude really helped me out hey what kind of armor do you have we're can I get it?
does this work in the legendary edition
Quickscoping section starts at 4:26
thanks for the quick scope tip
Just found this game 2 weeks ago.. amazing game
If u have max intimidate will u get more profit?
I bought everything from all shops.........do they re-stock?
If only this worked for the PlayStation 3 version. I would love to have so many credits
I did her "loyalty" mission but ran into the problem of having less items to buy back from Expat.
Thxs man this rly helped me
Xbox 360 2019. Still works!
does this work for pc version too?
Saved doctor from enemies in her ward. Still not working.
@DJtheDaniel You HAVE to have done the Doc's "loyalty" mission.
Is it working on xbox one?
I did and checked my inventory and only some of the upgrades I got back not all weapons and armour back so abit if a lie when you said you would get everything back
you do get everything back, theres a 20 item buy-back limit, meaning that you can only sell/buy-back 20 items at a time, any more items that you do over 20 will be lost
surely this still works?
@infernape5000 Lol. I'm going to be posting some ME2 gameplay as well. Getting my hands on Crysis 2 ASAP.
How does it work plz help
@blindmento Might be a while before I get the DA2 videos out. The video I recorded is all messed up, I'll have to re-rent the game to re-record because I'm not buying it.
One thing though: you can only buy back the last 20 items you sold
does this still work?
I can verify this works xbox 360 mass effect 2020
2020 and still working
Glad this works but those SOBs removed the equip any armor exploit... From the LE.
For me I'd rather have that.
Works on PS3 Trilogy FEB 16 2015
as soon as you become a spectre head down to the med clinic and yes micah roberts is right 20 items is the max you can sell
Guys, mass effect save editor, cheat engine, all of it will do the same, why did yot bother do this glitch?
late 2020.
Exploit still works on ME1.
not sure if this was a patch, but you do NOT get all of your items back. I did it and yes, i did gain money, and he's correct about the price differences, but keep in mind that if you sell a ton of stuff you may not see it all again. I only retained 20 out of my original 40+ items lol yes i had a lot
Tregeta no you are wrong the game only stores 20 items in buyback, with the cheapest items being deleted first, there has never been a patch.
Well I wasn't wrong because i said " *not sure* if this was a patch"
But thanks for the info.
I have over 1 million credits but I didn't get the achievement yet
I lost most of my lever 4+ gear doing this, I followed all instructions but when I went to buy back from the volus he only had the level 1 and 2 items. All my guns and armour. Gone. 7 hours of grinding for that let down.
Thread necro, but the buyback menu is limited to the last 20 items you sold.
@mast3rchi3f89 Not sure, but likely. Although, it's highly unnecessary. With this glitch u can make tons in just a few minutes.
Still working 02/2021. Playing on xbox series x, ultra fast loading 😉
still works on the xbox one digital version feb 2020.
Great thanks it worked on my toaster
What I do is I save all my tier 2 materials. Sell and buyback a few times to buy tier 3 stuff. Rinse and repeat. Have enough to buy a tier 4. Turn all my tier 2 stuff into Omni Gel. Keep my tier 3 and 4 stuff. Sell and buyback a few times. Use the money to buy Tier 5 stuff. Omni Gel all my tier 3 stuff. Keep all my tier 4 and 5 stuff and sell, buyback over and over again!
Simple.
Thank you!!!
Can confirm still works with Mass Effect Legendary with a few points. 1. you no longer get a Rich Achievement though, from what I understand, you will still get the associated bonus when you complete your first run if you finish with 1 Million... I may update this comment once I find out, though I also might not; What this means in terms of play is that when you become a Specter you will automatically have the ability to buy the Specter weapons from the C-Sec arms dealer. 2. The Bonus weapon perks are unlocked after your first completed run. You do not have to worry about using weapons that don't benefit your playstyle just to get their associated bonus thankfully.
Also, for clarity, to get this exploit going, to be clear, you should put your skill points towards charm and indimidate and try to get as many paragon/renegade points as you can, there's plenty of time to become like Switzerland later on, you have to be at the Citadel and you have to have gone to the Med clinic on the opposite side of the upper Market district where a very short battle ensues where you meet Garrus and get to point blank blast a baddie in the face with chemical rounds from your shottie... okay that last bit was me and is completely optional, but come on, what's funner than playing Peek-a-boo with an acid attack to someone's face?
Anyway, after you kill the baddies and get Garret you'll want to talk to Garret so you can add him as a member because Kaiden is a horrible throw away piece of, he's going to be swallowing a nuke ASAP garbage, the convo will then involve Dr Michel who will give you info regarding Tali and Fist in Chora's Den. I'd suggest taking a bit of a side-trek to get Wrex from C-Sec since he can save you some Renegade points while stilling getting fish killed to death. Once you have him and Garrus go to Chora's den and be prepared for a fight.
Blast your way through the guards and deal with the workers however you see fit in the hallway at the back of the bar, then short-circuit the combat in the next room with Fist by Peek-a-boo acid face-shotgunning him and... Wrex will be so merciful as to put him down afterwards so you can have your cake and eat it too by essentially telling him Tsk Tsk Wrex... It looks like your shotgun safety was off, how can we ever fix that...
After yeeting Fist you need to get Tali by going to the Chora's fast-travel spot and going up the stairs to the side hallway, this'll trip a scene with her and some thugs which you can gracefully escort to the otherworld, just be careful if you don't have a lot of biotic resistance as one of the Turian's is a biotic user and has some pretty nasty debuffs, worst case scenario, run like bit... err... employ a tactical retreat behind Garrus and Wrex and watch the damned Turian die to death.
Blah blah blah, save Tali, recruit her or not, whatever, go see the commander who will be happy that Tali has incriminating evidence against Saren who'll then take the info and tell you to go to the Citadel in a few minutes.... Little does he know that you're not going to take just a few minutes, but you're going to Prosperity Gospel your way from rags to riches...
Instead of going to the Citadel, go back to the Med Bay, Michel will be in some more hot water with another hooligan because, Zelda's, princess Peaches and Michel's seem to suffer from chronic self-sabotage... You find out that someone else is blackmailing her... this is the reason I suggested getting as many points into charm/intimidate and why I suggested getting as many paragon/renegade points as possible, to get her sale it's best to resist the urge to 86 the blackmailer. After getting the quest from Michel, go to the lower markets and speak with the vendor Morlan, after a bit a Krogan will appear and interrupt the convo, this is your target, he's the blackmailer, when it comes to the convo branch that determines if you're going to kill him or scare him, you want to select either the red or blue option on the left side of the convo wheel... this is very important, I'm going for a chaotic good sort of Sheperd but for some reason didn't have the paragon option available, can confirm that picking the renegade option doesn't kill the blackmailer but simply threatens their life which avoids blood-shed. The reason it's important to avoid bloodshed is IIRC picking normal options ends in violence and though the quest will be completed I think killing the krogan doesn't unlock the discount that makes the exploit possible, if someone has used the normal convo options and killed the krogan could you please confirm via replies on if that allows for the discount from Michel?
Either way, once the Krogan is dealt with, talk to Michel, let her know, and if everything went the way it should she should tell you that she doesn't have any monetary rewards but can get you a good deal on equipment. That is when you can starting printing money at your leisure, if you have more than 20 items, first, sell all your crap items to her and then sell the 20 items you wish to keep. Order is important because after the 20th item the buyback system only makes the *LAST* 20 items you've sold available. i.e. if you have 21 items and you sell them all the very first item you sold won't be available in buy-back.
You only sale a max of 20 items cause that's all you can buy back. So only sale 20 items buy back to not lose any items or money
I now have 7 million credits... Thanks
Still works in legendary edition
This truck still works in 2018
Yeah but remember u cant buy back weapon mods or armor mods so watch that
No longer works on PC version at least
It does. If you BUY things from other merchants it doesn't work. If you sell thing that you PICKED up during a mission, or BUY FROM HER, it works.
Worksk on xbox 360 ?
@darthme21 Great tip, never knew about that. I always sold about 10-15 items anyways
Still works for xboxone. 😆
Making an average of 320,625 every time I do it. I don't have expensive shit yet but still a decent profit though😆🖒
This still works for PS3 mass effect trilogy
Im good on sniper tips lol I'm on a lucky kill streak with getting no scopes lol I'm on a 45 kill streak with a sniper with not aiming.
I started using this glitch at lvl 37, when I had 2.9 mil cred. I went through 14 rounds, mostly selling and buying back the way the vid shows (only 20 items as the other comments here point out. decembercalling should redo the video to mention this), but bought some high-end items that I added to this process so I made 928,050 cred after my highest round, but after I reached 8,937,599 cred, the glitch seemed to stop so I didn't make or lose any cred after continuing to use the glitch another 4 rounds. Apparently, there's a limit to this.
UPDATE:
I went back to my save before exploiting this glitch, bought and sold things a little different, so I started with 741,063 credits before exploiting the glitch from scratch.
By the 10th round of selling to Dr. Michel in the Med Clinic and buying back from Expat in the Upper Market, netting +834,750 credits each time (from selling 20 items), I noticed my credits maxed at 9,999,999 while still selling to Dr. Michel. I assumed I was still loading credits and the system just didn't show any past that, but when I bought back everything from Expat, I netted only +633,186 creds. Apparently we can’t earn creds past 9,999,999.
To test my theory, I reloaded the previous save and sold only 16 items until my creds hit 9,960,063, and selling the next item would put me over 9,999,999 creds.
By round 15 (including the previous 9 rounds), my creds were 9,876,063 after buying my sold items back and I couldn't make more money past this point because I could only sell one item in an endless loop of no further gain.
So it looks like once we reach this point, we can keep going back to this only when we're down enough credits.
hope this works for PS3! :)
it does i just try it..
Doesn't work on Xbox
The best rpg games are on the original Xbox
Working on PS3 021321
Transfers over to me3 (;
ok this video is wrong he clams that sell all ur items to here then u can get all them back well i did glitch sevral times got up to 3 mill from selling to her buying back in market well i desided to buy the high prise items from cidel and sell those to her on med clinic well i made sure to count the number of items wile selling i had 50 items total when i sold to med clint then when i went to buy back in market i could only buy back 15 of those so he is tricking u into making u think ur ganing money for free when really u get extra money cause ur not really getting every thing bAck
Who would've thought a decade later this would be relevant again
