    10:34: "Does going through here get me anything...doesn't look like it." *Proceeds to walk away from the secret pathway you just discovered without actually walking through it.* :P

      @@Quasimofo Ironically, it's probably even harder to notice now that you cut away the bushes. XD

    Love that the enemies don't have friendly fire. You can make them hurt each other or cut down bushes.

      Yeah, that's always nice to have. Makes sense too!

      If they have friendly fire, they can hurt each other. The terminology is the other way.

    Wow impressed you figured out it meant a dash, I was thinking it was a roll into an attack. Seems so many little paths that don't look like paths in this game that go to chests or to use as shortcuts.

      Yeah, they're hiding the secret paths really well!

    Thanks, that helped me get back from being lost and find the map. Hopefully I can do the rest of this without a guide. I have the same problem with getting lost in deaths door, but I like both games.

      I got lost in Death's Door SO much. That game really needed a good map. Still an enjoyable experience though!

    Just ignore this comment if you did. But did you explore the 2nd guard house in the east forest? You went into it and went back out before. It goes much further. (I know this is kinda late but I haven’t seen any one say this in the comments.)

    • @Quasimofo
      @Quasimofo  2 роки тому +1

      Hmmm, I remember exploring the 2nd guard house because it wraps back around to the bell, correct? I could definitely go back and check, the details are a bit fuzzy. When I get to the end I'm definitely going to run back through areas and grab some stuff I may have missed, so I'll add this to the list!

    I have a few things to say about this series so far, but first please understand that youre videos is the first ive ever heard of tunic and i have not playd the game or watched anything else on it
    So, a love letter to old games like zelda and mauels, but i wanted to point a few things out that i find quite interesting, for starters its quite nice that the protagonist is actualy fully mute instead of haveing to hear "HYA, HNG, HUH, HYAAAAA" all the time, i also want d to point out tht i dont think that this secret laungige is made to make you wonder about what it all meams, of corse partly but i think what it truly trys to replacte, is how we read mnuels back in the day as kids, think of it, youre just about 7 years old and you just got this gme caled "the legend of zelda" when you start it up it said "read the mauel for more info", but as a 7 year old, youre english is quite bad (mine still is as theres bound to be a hundread spelling mistakes by now in this messege) so instead of reading it, you only look at the importaint stuff, like this game does, if one of the pages is about the invinsibility frames, 7 yo you whud just go off the pictures and the big text, no need to read it all, you understand it just from the most simplistic aproatch, and THAT is what i think this game is trying yo do whit the manuel, to be honest if i grabbed a pen and paper right now and go off what i can translate at the moment i can probibly translate a hole lot, but i wont, i first wanna feel that feeling airgain of how it was to just skim over and go whit the flow,
    On another note some of the pages have numbers in them that apear to be page numbers, so maby if you have like, page 10 and the number 14 is there go to page 14 and try to understand why there connected, its also wierd how on that items page there are a few black and blue numbers, seemingly written on it instead of printed,
    All in all, im exited to see what this game beholds, and it will be trugh youre playtrugh as i only have a switch and nothing else to play video games on, well, exept my phone but, mobilegames dont count
    EDIT: wow this became a longer string of text than i thought

      It is certainly nice to not have to hear the constant HYAAA, HYAAAAT, of link. The game just has such a chill vibe, and I definitely enjoy trying to decipher what the instruction manual is telling me! It's fun to piece together. Hope you enjoy the playthrough!

    please hit those tuning forks you missed

    • @Quasimofo
      @Quasimofo  2 роки тому +2

      I've hit the tuning forks before and they did nothing, so as far as I know there's no reason to. I'm still under the impression they're grapple points lol. The game will likely explain it in due time, so chill and let it do its thing. I usually try to 100% these games anyway, so everything will be done later.

      @@Quasimofo i think it mentions ringing the west bell on the map?

    • @Quasimofo
      @Quasimofo  2 роки тому +2

      It says how to ring it. It doesn't say "ring the west bell ASAP". Of course I'm going to explore first in a game like this, there's so many side paths and chests! If you expect me to beeline the objectives as soon as I get them then you're going to be in for a bad time. The whole point of a game like this is that it's non-linear lol
