i didn't understand why so many people annoyed at Hongdou when she's angry at Zhiyao. I mean, i even annoyed at xie zhiyao when he just said sorry quickly. it's like he's saying sorry just to avoid the the conflict. y'all didn't understand Hongdou POV at all. She went to Yunnan to take over the guest house not without so many consideration. She knew the pros and cons, and she knew that there are big possibility that their business will go bankrupt. She still did it nevertheless. What made her angry is that Xie Zhiyao thought that she's there purely for the profit that she will left if the reality didn't reach her expectation. If it's me, i will be mad too and won't forgive him easily.

Nothing is more exasperating than having something really serious you want to discuss and seeing the other not only willing to listen, but even dismisses the subject with some jokes or coaxes as if you were a kid. I know how she feels. Good communication is the key to understanding for us humans.

Auntie Xie's heart attack allows Hongdue the chance to be there for Xie. Hu gets crushed by Manjun after him thinking they might get married to her saying she's leaving and ruffling his hair like he's a child! Hongdue teases Xie in her apartment and things get heated!! (in a good way!!)
Exactly, is it so hard to understand that she wanted to be treated fairly by him? She wants his honesty, she doesn't need to be sheltered and she said so earlier, but he concealed some info that actually made the situation with her guesthouse worse. He did it with good intentions, we all get it, but she doesn't want to be treated like a child, she wants to be treated as his equal and his fake apology just to calm her down actually shows that he still has to grasp that fact. This could cause trust issues and misunderstandings in the future and she is more than justified in being firm. There is nothing unreasonable about her being mad. Maybe some people like to be patronised and treated as if they cannot deal with hardships by their SO and that is why they missed the point 🤷
A part of the melody of song Saddle of My Heart is so similar (all most same) with melody of the song of TSUNAMI (a song from Southern all stars) . This melody makes me remember that many things happened 20 years ago😂.
Every dress, every movement, every word she utters, every facial expression, no one can resist. She has reached her acting at the pinnacle. I just watched this whole series the second time and enjoy it more than the first time. Li too, has improved so much his acting.
