Kevin Mccollum I feel like with this video and You've got the love directors were kinda telling her that she has to play the sexy pop girl part rather than just relaying on her amazing voice. Then she matured and kinda grew out of that and thought to herself I dont have to be doing all these fucking gimmicks I have a great voice. She will always be one hot readhead.Like Jack White they're favourite
An upbeat two-minute song? A ridiculously low-budget music video? Featuring an actor who's dressed like a normal human being? Are you and I talking about the same Florence + The Machine?
@@aniquinstark4347 Two people fighting is still domestic violence. It doesn't just mean "one person beats another in an intimate relationship". It covers far more than that.
I remember hearing "you've got the love" at age 8/9 and loving it so much. I then saw "shake it out" on a music channel and fell it love with it. I watched Wild Child and heard this song. I clicked that it was the same artist - and realised I'd fallen in love with Florence + the Machine's music. Bloody hell Florence has come so far from this video and I love how much she's changed, in a good way of course! I've been a fan coming up close to ten years (still a few off mind) but I just remember using up all of my internet data to watch her music videos repeatedly. I can remember being so excited about "Shake it Out" I recorded the television programme to listen to it all the time! My dad bought the song for me on iTunes and it has now been played over 2,000 times. I'm not joking. That song was my jam for so long. Still is. But I love all her songs! She's an incredible singer and the band really gives a sense of community and I couldn't be happier to be in the flow family :)))
This video is so different to her ones now.. it's just so plain, but beautiful. It's different from so many other videos by other artists with so much going on, really makes you focus on the music, and her beauty, wow!
Fall is here, hear the yell back to school, ring the bell brand new shoes, walking blues climb the fence, books and pens I can tell that we are gonna be friends
I’ve been your quiet fan even before this song but this was the first that resonated and your evolution has added to my evolution keep your red hair flowing free you touch so many souls and you let them free
This was the theme tune to at least 2 of my past relationships. Seriously, I remember singing it to him at a house party and we LAUGHED about it. Poor messed up young Jen.
i loved this song when it came out but cuz i was in like 1st grade my mum never let me sing it, and then i was at school the other day and i realized, i can sing it now! no one cares!
When I was beaten this song I played and discovered Florence and drew back to 🎨 to help with pain thru trying to help thru my hurtful experience of a loss of the person who loved me as I was.and want to be again.. pain is processed there is no right or wrong way to do it love is also love the opposite is hate. There can't be one without the other I choose love today..
I find it really ironic that I associate Florence and the Machine with making songs that are a change of pace from typical 2009 pop music, but also that when I think of typical 2009 pop songs, this is the first song that comes to mind.
*wipes away a single tear* she's come so far
RinaTheKitty l
why are you gay?
Amaury Vervoort the best comment ever
for some reason I'm not surprised that you listen to her (PS you're an amazing artist ma dude, well gal but you know,)
YES
she changed so much oh my god
+Kevin Mccollum change is good
Watch No Light No Light or Delilah and then watch this. Pretty big difference, hm?

My
I mean, yes she has changed, but this song is undeniably her. Ignoring the video, the melody and lyrics have her written all over them.

I mean I guess its normal for her considering its an upbeat song about domestic violence 🤷
Don’t understand, it’s not an actor, it is Florence, or have I misunderstood ?
@@stevenclarke5606 the random guy in the background is the actor ....
@@MsTiddlyWinks123 Calling a mutual fight "domestic violence" is a fucking stretch. Go virtue signal elsewhere.

This is the most 2009ish thing I've ever seen
Josh Guzek I was thinking that the whole time...she's changed so much
Israel Ball that the idea I have of the dream about her old school
+Josh Guzek I don't think you understand this is actually a 1990/2000 effect on this video.
Isn't it? But I like the other version as much....
+Josh Guzek it´s so mtvish...
Started listening to Florence again... forgot about this great song. Also she happens to have just made another album!

Whyyyy have I only just found this piece of absolute gold?
All I want is a fight scene in a movie with all the fight moves in sync with this song, with it playing the the background

And so during these 128 seconds a Music Immortal was born.

This was the theme tune to at least 2 of my past relationships. Seriously, I remember singing it to him at a house party and we LAUGHED about it. Poor messed up young Jen.
First song i ever heard by Florence and i have loved her since!
Florence is oddly attractive in this vid.
+Thomas Begen The crazy, slightly violent chick at School/ work/ with long legs and a weird-pretty face
She's always attractive.
Love
She always is
Where she isn't tho?
i loved this song when it came out but cuz i was in like 1st grade my mum never let me sing it, and then i was at school the other day and i realized, i can sing it now! no one cares!
I wish she would have more songs in this style...it's completely different from most of her other songs
how cool is observing Flo and the band changing and improving everyday. I couldn't be happier to be part of this. I'm so thankful!

I find it really ironic that I associate Florence and the Machine with making songs that are a change of pace from typical 2009 pop music, but also that when I think of typical 2009 pop songs, this is the first song that comes to mind.
