Being damn near fifty years old, it’s refreshing to see a young person who appreciates music from an era before Pro Tools, Autotune and manufactured Disney pop garbage. Great job, keep the faith.
I'm 55 now and was 20 when this came out, I think its incredible to see anyone playing this music in this day and age. You're very talented and yes Blackies music inspired me a lot too.
Hey, thanks Sonia. I've just got into you and Burning Witches and you rock. You have such charisma. Ive ordered a superb designed poster from your store, just waiting on it...it looks fantastic. regards from England.
Ok... you've won me over with this one. HUGE WASP fan...I played this one all the time growing up (yes, I play guitar...don't we all?) The Last Command....Ballcrusher...Electric Circus....Sleeping In the Fire...The Headless Children....all that. ❤
@CyberPunkGirl ,ay so love Sonia Anubis 🇨🇭 alweys smile so positiv women all may love ❤️ send to shi pley metal gutiar master and so buetifol, send love from Belgrade Whaterfont City, Serbia state 🇷🇸, Europe 🇪🇺🎶🎸🌹💐
I had the pleasure of seeing WASP on their first major tour, and also seeing them with Metal Church and then once in a small bar with maybe 50 people.... believe it or not.... always an awesome band
F'Yeah man. I vividly remember those daze..ha ha. Damn I haven't heard sum1 mention Metal Church in ages...they kicked! Well W.A.S.P. tended to play better in the small venues. Blackie would interact with the audience a hell of a lot more. It may surprise some, but a lot of hot came to those shows. Good taste in music man, keep shreddin'!
I remember when this came out. I was 13 in Nov. 1985...W.A.S.P. opened for Kiss for their tour in Feb. 1986. Awesome song & memories! Nice to know other people are as passionate about this music!
Despite being nearly 18, and not born during the 70s, this is an awesome cover. This sort of music has had a massive impact on my life. As a drummer all I can say is, AWESOME.
That was an excellent performance Sonia, and I too love Wasp, not everyone can play Wasp songs and enjoy them like you do, and as do I. Thank you for the video.
Too even see a person of your age that knows who Blackie is and the greatness o W.A.S.P. is encouraging for Metal going forward past the greats and originators of the music.
He was constantly playing his guitar or working on them, he practiced more than anyone I know. He certainly worked hard to get where he is today. He had a fantastic ear, he certainly deserves the success he's found.
I met Chris Holmes back in 1986. I will never forget it. W.A.S.P. had opened for KISS (Animalize tour) South Bend, IN. My friends and I had backstage passes. He was unbelievably gracious, kind, and well spoken. A 180° degree difference from his stage persona. He asked if we enjoyed the show. Could not have been more genuine. The entire concert was nutts. Good times.
Awesome cover Sonia, I congratulate you... I do love this song, you played it perfectly... The solo was beautiful and I simply ended singing the song... Thanks for the good time hanging with you playing the best instrument of the metal world.
Like your videos. Good energy, attitude, great smile and playing. You kick butt. All the killer tunes from the 80's. Brings back good memories. Glad you appreciate the music that I rocked to.
I grew up alone listening to this type of music. Where were you in the past. Now I just see how others react to my past. Thanks for keeping it going. I like Chris Holmes
Love that your playing old school Metal covers, I loved the Metal of my high school days. Big Chords, Big Hair, Big Crowds. I played the hell out of this Cassette. Well done, your my favorite Witch!!
I'm a big W.A.S.P. fan, too. Blackie is great ! This was absolutely awesome. Incredible sound. It really shows how much fun you have playing this. You rock 🤘
You make it look easy but what you do takes plenty of time and practise. You have great taste in music.I grew up in the 80's and still love bands like wasp.Great smile and fantastic guitar playing!
Ohhhhhh my god Sonia :) My fave track from W.A.S.P. And you nailed it perfectly, love it, keep it coming :) Hope you all are good these days!! Cheers from Norway :)
Thank you so much for bringing your grace and beauty into this song. It is my absolute favorite by them, basically my theme song. ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 Never stop being wild; miss Anubis the eternal keeper of endings and rebirth.
Eat your heart out Stevie T, queen Sonja Anubis has arrived and is kicking ass I love this song so much and you made my day with an excellent cover done in style, thank you 😁
Stevie can get a little annoying sometimes, but that dude is a really polished player and that's just a fact. I guess I fail to see what point you're trying to make , because there's no comparison between her and Stevie T.
You killed it Sonia !!! Wasp and Blackie one of my favriot Band thanks for this. You Fn Rock !!!! Luv everything about you. Look, Style , talent .. You scream metal !!!! Keep Burning with the Witches ... ;) How about a cover of WASP sleeping in the fire !!!

First Concert I ever saw. They played at Nassau Coliseum on Long Island. Still a huge fan to this day and I got to see most of the early 80's metal bands when they where just getting started. It was a great time time to be a teenager.
Great song & great job. Found some tabs, so am going to have to give it a go. Been playing for just a bit over a year, so going to be some time before I can give it the respect it deserves.
Nicely played. It's apparent that you love playing and rocking out. Keep it going. If you are still considering another WASP cover, The Flame is not complicated but it rages! Cheers!
Alright wild ones! What should I cover next? 🔥
Creeping Death!!!
IRON MAIDEN🤘🤘
Queensryche - Queen Of The Reich

Wild Sonia...Perfect performance!
One of the greatest things about you is that when you play guitar on UA-cam, you really "perform" which really adds to the song.
Love watching you play. Keep the 80's alive. It was was truly a great time for heavy metal
Excellent cover I didn’t a cover of it awhile back love this song and a big W.A.S.P. Fan
Brilliant! I have loved W.A.S.P for many years. Great to see younger people still appreciate them.

I grew up with Dug Blair his guitar player, we played in a band together in High School.
Yes! WMA represent! \m/ :)
Was Doug good in high school
He was constantly playing his guitar or working on them, he practiced more than anyone I know. He certainly worked hard to get where he is today. He had a fantastic ear, he certainly deserves the success he's found.
love how you get into these 80's classic riffs! you go girl
Sonia is putting the lawlessness jamming Wild Child!
What I really like about you besides your playing is that you truly look like you are having fun while you are playing !
I bet Chris Holmes has already watched this and is smiling.

WOW! Looking and sounding beautiful all the way through. Great job, keep rocking Sonia.
Chris Holmes... His riff. Blackie was a good Bass player/ Singer. Peter Steele was much better.
What's the Pete Steele connection to WASP?
Glib Was thinking the same thing.
@@Mustaine1ify Peter Steele was better than Blacky ever will be.
@@Killerklownsfromouterspace There's no connection... Peter was 10x the musician.
Brannagan O'Brannagan Well Victor Wooten is a better musician than Peter Steele. A billion times better.
