    Enjoy the journey, and remember this is YOUR journey and we're fortunate enough to be taken along for the ride. Don't stress yourselves over editing and getting videos out. You are doing the travelling, so slow down, appreciate what you're experiencing and if you have time for videos then we'll be blessed to live the good life and see other cultures vicariously through you guys. 🤗🤗❤❤

    Reason it is that pricey is because pretty much all of the tourists that go there are gulf arabs and they tend to be rich even some of the workers are arab so they can speak with the tourists. It was a cozy little town 10 years ago but government turned it into a circus once they saw the potential.

      Very interesting, thank you for the context. That makes a lot of sense, it definitely has the feel of a small town that has recently been commodified. It is beautiful, but it does feel like a theme park.

    Guys...don't lose sight of the reason you're doing what you are doing. Worry less about the posting schedule and make sure you have time to "smell the roses". I hate to think that you guys are stressing out over getting that editing done so you can post a video today. Please enjoy yourselves. I understand you may be trying to build a following but the following you do have, IMO, loves what you are doing and not necessarily how often you do it. Love you guys...Safe travels...

    Is there a reason for aiming for daily uploads? We are totally ok with however often you want to post, it's fun watching you two having fun.

    • @OnePackWanderers
      @OnePackWanderers  2 роки тому +3

      We originally wanted to do daily uploads because we think it fits better with the type of videos we want to make. Just sharing our day to day is what makes us most happy, rather than trying to make everything exciting or like a guide. But for now it seems like every other day is the best balance for us. At least for now 🙂

    Spent 3 days there in 87. We stayed in huts next to the river and ate all our meals at the only fish restaurant there. I know things change over time but wow. There was one store there where I bought some razor blades. They had not seen an American like me before. We had to bring our own bottles of raki to the village. Glad I was there before it went full-blown commercial.

    Love the comment. Feels like an abandoned carnival. And why not go somewhere based on a photo. That's the adventurer coming out in you two.

    Wonderful video full of content. We're in Trabzon about to head there tomorrow. For future videos, could you please say the month and year that you visit these places? It would be so helpful for us who are traveling off-season. (Written Early October 2023).

      If you look in the video description, at the upload date, that is the month that the video was filmed.
      Enjoy Trabzon! That whole part of Türkiye is very interesting.

    Uzungol was very beautiful, its nearby of Trabzon. Rize is also nice area with tea gardens. Check out Kars, ruins of Ani, if possible Van. The southern Mediterranean coast is stunning, if you have time check out, Antalya, Olympos, Suluada, Demre (Saint Nicholas aka Santa Claus is buried in Demre), Kas... trust me, you will love these places. On the western coast, you might want to check out Bursa which is the burial place of Osman I who was the founder of Ottoman Empire. Love & respect from Bangladesh

    Well worth the two hour dirt road...stunning nature...!!🏞👍
    Although the Mosque looked a bit out of place (better lit up at night)...needed more of a Frank Lloyd Wright influence to blend with the natural surroundings...😏 And wow... 'Islamic yodeling' echoing thru the hills...!
    Capped off with 'Turkish Fondue'...yummy...another day enjoyed with you both...!!🙏✌️

    Ugh editing. I am newish at at as well. Getting faster. Do you use a shot list, or just wing it in the field. Shot list seems to help reduce the amount of footage you need to scroll through. But hey your skills and hard work are really showing.

    • @OnePackWanderers
      @OnePackWanderers  2 роки тому

      We just wing it. For shot list do you mean sort of laying out a script? Sorry, we don't know much about videography at all.
      Are you going to publish videos? Would love to see your motorbike adventures.
