Just recently got back on SWTOR, and this up to date video on Vengeance is just what I needed. The new proficiency tree was confusing for me and I'd completely forgotten the optimal rotation to use with all abilities. Excellent work!
what i did in 6.0 to dot spread with the hemophilic slash tactical, is to put all your dots on one target, ravage, slam and then filler, then you can get back in your usual rotation again, i found this to be pretty effective because you spread all 3 dots with that. also, nice guide :)
@@mrtspence oh it's 100% useful! I'm not taking that away, just that they've tweaked some things and made some things different, veng is still fun, I'm running rage rn
ran Hammer Station with some guildies - one was a Vengeance Jugg with cut to pieces, and we had like 2 marauders with predation - long story short - the fastest we ran HS was under 6mins. And that was basically my introduction to Vengeance Jug - now I'm giving it a try as a dps spec.
Dude i play swtor since launch ... but im honest to say that was the best guide about any class i have ever seen ! Well presented and thought through ! Subbed ! Well done !!!!!
I just started back up so I am using kind of the same Rotation I used from couple of years ago and I found this to work as well, not better just for me easier: Saber throw---Force Leap--Sundering Assault--Ravage--Impale--Shatter--Force Scream--Ravage--Vengeance Slam--Hew--Enrage--(Force Choke plus Mad Dash plus Force Leap back on target or Push away from crowd plus Force Leap)---Repeat Rotation. Every rotation is on a dummy target so in PvP you need to adjust as needed. Use of Force Choke and Push can make or brake your winning in a fight. Main purpose of vengeance is to jump into crowd AOE pressure on their healers then pick out a single target and push it away from crowd to control your target while immune to theirs to k*ll them. It is like Force leap in do one rotation under CC immunity then push target out of crowd and force leap to regain your CC immunity while using your own CC to k*ll your target. It is PvP so you will have to find your own comfort and proficiencies but most important task is to make sure you roll every class to know how they work at least in PvE Story Mode. This is just my two cents on the topic.
By far the easiest, funnest and most highest dps class imo. In raid groups I always seem to be either a the top of the list or just behind someone in second. Most times the top dps in that case has almost 100% in every operation. A real heavy hitter in other words.
I love how you say try not to use assault if you can, yet you keep doing it later on anyway LOL. But usually what I do is charge, then use my 7 rage thing, then my 3 dots if possible, or the slam, then the good ol slam over and over if possible. Yes I have the tactical to slam a bunch of times per crit.
Thx mark for all the guides you are insane mate. I know u dont play it but if by any chance you have a good guildmate PT Tank and can do a guide on it would love it ! Have a nice day
man thank you so damn much, love you man, you are amazing, you help me so much, i can't thank you enoch, this is the class or there is one more easy so i can learn ops, i dont want to look on my skill most of the time and die on ops, i am returned player man, and i need to gear up and learn the class and ops, when you came online on twitch i will sub to you guys for thank you!
So I have a couple of questions. Do the 330 mods get down scaled in pvp or am I ok using those? Also how greedy can I be with my crit chance? Can I go under 2k alacrity to pump my crit higher for some big impale crits or it's not recommended?
330 gets scaled down to 328, but the 2 item levels doesn't really change much of your stats, so you should be fine with them. I would go 7.2% alacrity and then MAYBE an accuracy piece or two + stim, then throw everything else into crit for PvP. You need like SOME accuracy to make sure our abilities hit for white damage, but the rest is all crit yellow slam spam for pvp
The only thing for me is that i cant figure out what to put in my damn hot-bars, theres just to many different abilities to choose from and ive only just got into the game
He made a keybinding video a while back. I'd recommend watching it and putting the abilities you use the most in the keys easiest to hit. Me personally I use Q and E for AOE. And my primary damaging abilities in Z, X and C
Ok what about solo leveling with Vengeance in PvE? Should I go Shatter Burst or Major Fracture? Shatter burst seems to do nice burst of damage but is it necessary on killing group of mobs?
I don't know if its a good bursty-rotation but I've found, with the usefulness of Hemophilic Slash Tactical, that you enter with Force Charge, tap Sundering Assault, then Impale and Procc'd Force Scream, RAVAGE, then Shatter and Ravage a second time. Is this a good idea or am I just going all "Numbers go Brrt!" ?
How do you lighten and darken the ability tree? I noticed it in you rother videos as well where your selected choices are brighten and everything else is dark.
im still learning, so i was just wondering why you dont put shatter after ravage if shatter refreshes it's CD? is it that just a bonus when it works out, or have i missed something completely? Ty Sorry another question. What about Riposte? (or whatever it is on jugg i forget) do i just toss that shit off my bar? lol Thanks again.
Essentially, the damage done by shatter and having the dot ticking for the extra GCD outweighs the damage done by ravage, even with the refresh on the CD. Additionally, by going impale > shatter > scream > ravage, you will tick all 3 of your dots and refresh them all, which is a damage increase.
