Raag Yaman Kalyan | Saraswati Pooja | Sangeet Sadhana | Mishka

We start our baithak by invoking the blessings of the Goddess of knowledge with a Saraswati vandana sung by one of our tiny maestros, Mishka. A student of Nayan Sir, Mishka’s composition is from one of the most melodious ragas; Yaman Kalyan; a raga that is sung when the lights are lit and a raag that blossoms with the treatment of shudh Madhyam in the avaroha. Please put your hands together for Mishka as she presents the very first blossom.
