    I think we can use magnetic rail gun instead of spining the mass. Magnetic rail gun can accelerate projectiles upto 7 mach currently. By using superconducting magnet and taking care of vaccum it will be more efficient and we have less vibration to manage and also counter weight will not be required during ejection.

      So, we accelerate a satellite to mach 7, in the densest part of the atmosphere? Don't you think aerodynamic heating might be just a bit of a problem?
      Also, the payload would need to be light enough to accelerate to mach 7, durable enough to survive 1000's of g's of acceleration, and launched with sufficient precision to guarantee entry into the proper orbit.
      Yeah, not going to happen.

    Some serious 11th grader will also oppose this 'dream idea' , something called centripetal force will never make this happen in reality and if only it does some major accidents ,loss of the payload will happen

    Spinlaunch is just a dream that's not going to happen. Cos how can ssatellite components and propellent tanks can handle such a high g-force produced during the spin? That spin will damage the payloads for sure.

      @@jayeshroman9519 They wil have to develop New kind of Satellite Components that can withstand the g force. Also this technology is not applicable for bigger satellites

    Spinlaunch is the future, of scams.
    Ever see a washer try to spin when there is ONE wet towel to many on one side of the drum?
    Now imagine 50,000 wet towels at 10,000g's, on the wrong side of the drum.
    This launcher would rip itself apart.

    Drag coefficient decrease because dynamic pressure increase by square and which increase the denominator and thus decrease the drag coefficient
    The drag force increases
    However at high speed from Non Dimensional Navier Stokes equation we csn observe the shear stress is divided by Reynolds number such that at hypersonic regimes the Re is very high such that can neglect the shear stress which means we can treat Viscous flow as inviscid and neglect the momentum diffusion
    High Speed Aerodynamics has an advantage of being solved as inviscid flow

    Can be possible on moon in future but on Earth, it will not work. Btw they are still using 3nd /2nd stage rocket in it . Which doesn't make any sense.

    Release mechanism failure is mandatory.
    As at such high speed releasing a tightly gripped lauch-vehicles at a nano seconds dalay will cause failure to miss the launch tunnel.

    I am concerned about the various sensors which are placed in the satellite in the arrow shell, vibration tests are done but the intense spinning can cause many sensors to go off calliberated values.

      Bro that's a good idea but for that we need to control gravity like have you seen a movie named " Man Of Steel" they used this mechanism to realign the direction of gravity from one point to another which creates enormous thrust that can pull or push anything
