The reason this wasn't released was because this track was part of an EP that was supposed to be 100% Future Bass; The "Still Kids" EP. So the final version became Future Bass, but honestly, I wanted this part in the track 2:45

For those asking why this wasn’t the final version, I think it came down to the point that this wouldn’t have fit the vibe of the final EP it came out on. The first drop in the final version fits the whole pop kind of theme in the rest of the EP, with second drop being the most out there thing on the whole EP. So I’m guessing since this original had the second drop of the final be the first drop, he decided to move it and create a more pop-ish variation for the final.
