What happens if when your converting the improper fraction to the mixed number, there are no numbers left over to be the numerator?

Great question! Then it will just be a whole number. For example, the improper fraction 12/3 would convert to 4. Since there isn't a remainder, the fractional part of the mixed number is not needed and it's just a whole number.
