In conclusion EJ is 100 years old
Not really how
@@bobhey4969 a joke man. . fuck
Wow, you could understand Shaq back then... 😂
this dude was a rookie basically avg. 23 15 and 3.5 blocks lol..wtf?
@@razkable he meant when he was talking, like speaking. people don't really understand him too much because his voice is now deep and it sounds like hes sorta slurred when hes talking, making it harder to understand what he's saying
Shaq nowadays sounds like
“Hisljdurkehd BBQ Chicken. Kobe pass me ball I dunk emoedjeldshdsljd”
@@michaelw7327 he smokes a lot of weed these days
It’s all the hookah he been smokin’
3:07 young shaq sounding like current shaq
Yooo that’s crazy lol
Yoooo snap!!! On point. Your ears are sharp
Nahhhh current shaq is louder
this is insane to see, these guys literally became family like 25 years later, maybe 22(im guessing when Shaq joined TNT).
19 years later
@@NBADUNKMAN bet
Shaq was 20 in this vid and his voice sounds like he still hadn’t hit puberty.
Haha as a guy studying opera singing, I'm gonna be a nerd for a sec: the early adult voice tends to be a bit lighter. Lebron and Kobe also have lighter sounding voices if you look at their rookie interviews.
21
Lol I mean by Shaq standards maybe...
Crazy Shaq speaks louder in his post playing career
for a males voice the biggest change is during puberty and after that your voice will slowly change as you age
Shaq highlights with Alice In Chains is the most 90s thing I’ve ever seen in my life
LOL infinity
Instantly made the vid that much better
Now it's all just hip hopped out
@@shponjoel ?
@@escalades-esv7193 how do you not get understand
Love the Alice In Chains at the beginning
Ernie needs to bring back that sweater
When he dunked on David Robinson in the 1996 All Star Game in San Antonio,
Woooooh!!!!
He defined his legacy as SHAQ.
He dunked in all the dominant centers in his career Patrick, Hakeem, DRob, Zo, and Yao.
he was so soft spoken back then, being great makes you a tough guy i guess lmao. goat
That sweater! Also, I see where the parody of quick bursts of sentences with pauses comes from when impersonating Shaq and funny how Shaq impersonating Oakley sounds like Shaq today. 🙃
Take me back to when they used Alice In Chains songs during transitions
His voice was so light an soft.
More like: Shaquille O'Neal Rookie Interview with *Future Boss* Ernie Johnson.
wish people did this kind of real hard pressing interview with like these cocky kids like simmons lonzo or zion..now its all buddy buddy in the game and media...back then guys hated each other did not want youngsters to succeed before they proved themselves and media went at these dudes for every little thing....now they coddle them...shaq was a man at age 19 by the way..my goodness..hes 21 here avg. 23 15 and 3.5 as a rookie
@@razkable Considering your profile pic your no older then 20 therefore you have no clue what your talking about.
@SirAaron29 I don't think Ernie can be his boss when Shaq probably makes 50x his salary
I loved that Ernie was surprised that Shaq said that he might've been in jail if his father hadn't straightened him out. That possibility had never crossed EJ's mind and rightfully so. EJ knew exactly who Shaq was right off the bat and I think it should come as no surprise to anyone that they came together for Inside.
That was a really good Magic team then. Shaq, Penny, Grant, 3D, Anderson......
Lol ernie looks better now than younger damn
Hell naw
His fashion tho was dope lol
Last song I was expecting to hear in this video was “Would” by Alice in Chains lmao
I hope I’m not the only one who wanted “Would?” by Alice In Chains to keep playing in the background.
kinda goes funkily well with the sport clips too
I was so surprised they played that
@@gionnivillalobos7112 the fact that it was a brand new song at the time helped.
Into the post agaiiiiiin, same ol' board it was baaaaack then......
So I missed an open shot, try to pass it once my wayay ayay ayayyyyy [ee-ee-ee-ee-eeeee]
When rock music was respected and relevant. The good ol days.
Who came here after seeing they retired his jersey in Orlando
"Do you talk trash?"
*I only speak when spoken too*
Yeeeaaaaah right, lmao
Alice In Chains and Shaq highlights? I’m missing something
Ernie with the full head of hair and Shaq speaking clearly instead of sounding like he has marbles in his mouth. nice
Shaq had major respect for Pat Ewing
Heck he shed a tear for Pat one time
shaq has so much more charisma back then
I remember this like it was yesterday
Woooow Young Shaq 😂😂😂
zion before zion lebron before lebron sorta...
Good choice of Alice in Chains, did not expect that.
OMG! They're using Alice in Chains music!
Wow look how young they were!
Yeah so unexpected they where young once
Look at how cute he was. Wow!!👻🎃
Ernie probably would have passed as a Pennywise actor 😂
Ahh, this isn't the 1989 interview "in a little house" Shaq always mentions , Im like, "what?? That aint no little house"
this is awesome
Early shaq sounds like Kevin Hart doing an impression of Shaq
Ol Oakley
Ernie lowkey interviewing shaq for the job 😂
Notorious E.R.Nie in that Coogie sweater
Lol reminds me of Chuck saying "Hack is a foul" segment
A month after I was born
Wtf why are they playing Alice in Chains on this video? I know it's 1992, but still...
You answered your own question.
@@mauricioibarra701 haha. Since people struggle to read between lines, the point I was trying to make is that a depressing song like "Would" by Alice in Chains is about as far away from a "jock jam" as you can get.
Back when he didn’t have deep voice
Well now he sounds like he swallowed a baseball ⚾ it's stuck in his throat but this video you can here him clearly amazing.
shaq before turning into mr sensitive.
I see more of this shaq
Ernieeeeeeeeeeeee
So this is his real voice.
Who Ernie ? Yah it’s his real voice but he sounds cooler as an older guy idk why 😂.
Is it just me or does he sound like Patrick Beverley? 😊
Damn wasn’t expecting Alice & Chains lol
They look great, I hope the guy in Sweater won't make him eat a frog's leg.
"Be in jail" - Ernie Johnson
Shaq had a baby voice 😂😂😂😂😂😂
damn i wish he talked about those big women down in san Antonio
So old it has alice in chains in it
Jokic not even born yet was better than Shaq.
Ernie looks 2
He sounds illiterate.
How?
He’s not Jared, 19.
You sound stupid af
he has made more money then anyone outside of mj in the nba and has 4 degrees so...how?...he also is an actor so he must read scripts he was in blue chips that year so....andhe memorizes lyrics to rap....and stats
You sound ignorant
