@matteotelesca4244 basicly: liquidation of extra stocks (not always with profit). Secundairy: filling the neutral stock pool, to build stocks for later purchasing. Example: when filling the pool with Timber, your new islands can buy Timber from Kahina or Isabel. Tertiary: move stocks to islands that are unsafe to sail too.

When I set up schooners like this they get attacked constantly. I feel like I need at least three times three SoL to scare them off my juristiction. Is it your Island placement that prevents attacks from the AIs - for a long period with only 3 frigates(?)
Been playing this game for years, i still can NOT understand the trading without going broke let alone even beaten the game. Watching helped however i don't play mods so not sure if that effects the game play. Regardless great vid.
@@jasperwillem oh alright. Must be the DLC's i haven't gotten yet. ok cool, well i'll keep watching and learning and maybe get to your level. 👍 thank you for good content.
Very cool to see how you fit everything on so small island, copy past works great. I was wondering, is it oke to build industry near your houses? no issues with pollutions? How can i see what i sell to AI pc ?
Industry does effect the whole island, however, I always wondered if it starts more with houses that are closer. Never seen hard evidence, but still have that feeling.
It is like a floating stock. When you set a minimal at both harbours, they both will never deplete, but if one of them has stock above the level of the minimal stock, it will be shipped. However, the production and inflow from purchases is still continuing, so over time, both harbours will fill up.
@@jasperwillem i've seen it several times that you buy and sell the same product at the same time. dont get me wrong, i'm an absolut anno noob, i'm just curios. it would be cool if you would explain a little more in the vid
@@tobiteller2 I will not explain more in my video's, I dislike video's with comments, please give a timestamp with an example. If it is about trade, it probably is a pickup on an island with minimal stock, ensuring a faster distribution of that good or material between islands. Since the stock will fill up the island and the ship will pick up all stock that will go over the limit set.
Docklands placement is poor. Should not build on coast but out in harbour at edge, like pier. If docklands is further out you vmcan build export offices and harbourmaster behind it, in area blocked for loading when on coast. Basic shipyards also benefit frim this, because steam shipyards require electricity, i usually place them on coast. Foxgaming for advanced tips.
My guy. You never leave ow? You start with ship? This kinda seems crazy to me. I build all zones at once essentially usually. Low speed. You do too many tade routes early and overwhelm dock. And soo much influence on paper.
With what influence? You need a defence fleet, towers and the investment cost for the island. Did you ever play Ultimate Expert? It is very hard to maintain liquidity with all arena's going. Better to focus on a single one and do it right. The easy to replace ships that overwhelm the docks, have very low loading time, due to very small holds, so the throughput is high, don't see the issue. Also they are easy to replace from skirmishes. Also, they cost less upkeep or influence as bigger ships.
@@jasperwillem one flame turret and AI will basically never take the harbour. On hard i find it incredibly useful to rush new world and claim helium islands to block ai airships. Airships are the only thing that is actually hard to deal with.

Dude I just started to get the hang of this game... Kinda
And watching you. 🤯
Love watching you play since it seems so different from any other person I've watched. None of them use passive trade as you do.
Thank you. The game is very diverse. Utilising all aspects is a big challenge. But I really enjoy it.

@ThomasBigum do you have passive harbour area's that are near each other?
How did you set up patrols to keep the enemy out of the save zones created inside your island network?

You can open statistics trade routes menu of the island and there you should be able to select all goods and find AI purchases.
Your trade route is picking up and delivering the same material.
What is the purpose of trading the construction materials back and forth?

realy like your take on the game. just all those scooners piling up on your shore make me uneasy.
It saves on cost and they are easy to replace, the two main drivers behind that.
can anybody explain what he is doing with the import/export trading all the time? what is the purpose on that?
@@tobiteller2 can you share a timestamp?
@tobiteller2 most probably creating liquidity?

As someone in Fox discord, I should know this.
do you use a mod to silence the pops? that's so peaceful and quiet 😆
No, on mobile now, but I thought the "opions" can be set in settings, or by a choice or a sound slider.
So, what is 'World Domination'? Its achievement? Or do you need to wipe all enemies?
Wipe all enemies.

Why do you wait so long for beer and soap?
Since it is a while back, not sure, maybe to save steel? The beer supply chain uses a lot of it.
