Last year I had the pleasure of doing 4 laps on Catalunya circuit with an F3 and the sensations of power driving so low and with the body stretched are incredible.

@@jimbo992you’d also have to understand, a lot of new viewers show up and the title needs to be easy to understand and a lot of people come from shorts, so the title being something a lot of people are familiar with is just a way to get more attention and newer viewers.
@@Star_XP maybe, but for me it’s off putting and damages the channels integrity and knowledge. An F1 car is quite different to that.

Dude, I love this channel and the footage but PLEASE do not be like autosport and have your camera men on the outside of a corner on an active race track (4:07), that's just ridiculously dangerous. Please don't help make this be a trend or a thing for racing youtubers, it's super dangerous. But again, I love this channel and I just want people to be safe.
I don't think it was his camera man but the camera man of Joel Beukers, the owner of the car, but I fully agree with you that it is very dangerous.
Looked like to me just Dirk on track not pushing too hard. Doubt if there were any real safety concerns given how controlled everything looks.
@@realmichaeltian given how quickly the tires shredded you can never count out a tire blowing. Or maybe a spin over the hill as the car gets lighter. No matter how controlled the situation is its just silly to stand next to a racetrack with an 800hp car driving
@@realmichaeltianTo be devils advocate, dirk can be completely in control and something can fail (especially when the tires are in THAT condition) and someone could be killed if it happens at the wrong time

For all of you saying “he clickbated us” and “I’m unsubbing” you might not understand this from a content creator’s perspective. A lot of people are not familiar with an A1GP car, and the audience for F1 is very wide and easy to recognize. The title of the video is to grab attention, and viewers. Clickbating would be him saying “I drove an f1 car” and the video is him driving a motorcycle. Also keep in mind a lot of his audience comes from shorts, and the title needs to be something that could get new viewers attention to maximize the amount of views he gets.
Lying for personal benefit is literally fraud. Don't' talk down to people like the problem is that "we don't understand", you gaslighting ass. We understand. It's not acceptable. What's the point of gaining new eyes if you're going to immediately lie to them and deposit incorrect knowledge in "new fans" minds. Get the f out of here with that low effort hustler bullshit.

The force feedback on that wheel is unreal!!! What are your torque settings and FOV set to? And for some strange reason, those tires were giving me cravings for bubble gum.
58,000nm of TQ. FOV is set to infinite. Tires were made of recycled Wrigley’s Gum, dyed black to comply with regulation A.24, Section C-8675309.
Good video, but as you say, this is an A1GP car, not an F1 car like you've titled the video.
