at 16:00 there has to be a change of video, after that it is not the same tour any more? The light change in the tunnel and also the fact that the signal was giving clear and stating next signal also to be clear even though junction clearly was set to a turn indicating signal should have displayed slow approach.
What a technically superb production that is head and shoulders above most others. All rail lines between cities with at least a 100K population needs to first of all be built if they’re not already, and the existing ones upgraded to 250km/h, to compete with short haul flights and cars.
Thank you for your beautiful videos. Yours are some of the best I've found all around UA-cam. I'm in Argentina and spent an afternoon traveling thanks to you.
It is utterly beyond me how as many as 12 wretched souls could dislike this wonderfully-filmed, superbly-documented video. I watch far too many of these cab ride videos, and this is the first one I have seen that has not only such profuse (not to mention bilingual) explanatory notes (be ready to hit the Pause button when one appears), but even the latitude and longitude of the various station stops! Herr Kivisaar has just gained another subscriber.
A great movie with good quality result. A lovely track through a lovely part of the world. I often visit my sister in Gothenburg and drive up the E6 so nice to see the area closer to the coast.
Thank you for the ride. We do not have passenger rail where I live, East Tennessee, U.S.A.; I have ridden on some trains in Europe, Netherlands and England. My favorite way to travel.

Very enjoyable. Lovely countryside. I haven't been to Sweden since 1975! I appreciate the names of the towns and tunnels. I hope to see more like this. Best wishes from Australia,.Bra! :-)
Thank you - excellent video and I much appreciated all the information you provided as we travelled along. All accessible easily by following your instructions to activate the subtitles. Again, many thanks. Rob.
I REALLY like the way Swedish locomotive drivers get going smartly, with no bell ringing and horn tooting like Yank drivers who seem to think it necessary to warn every dog, horse and weasel of its approach. Informative subtitles much appreciated.
From the sound of train starting, it has IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) inverter. The steel tire sounds to be little flat (hear occasional oscillation). Will spend more time to watch through its entirety later. (copied from FB)

Poor Amtrak! - it cannot compare to the Swedish Railways shown in these videos - and, adding insult to injury, the governing party in the United States is actively trying to shut it down, which would mean that the USA as a very large country would have no trains (except for a few limited ones in large population areas).

@@jankiwi Thanks for reply. I'll definitely stay tuned. I have just one additional question. I'm actually moving to Sweden in a few years and I'm very interested to become a train driver. @@nosoupforyou89 My understanding is that you don't have to have great grades, but you have to have passed high school ("gymnasiet" in Sweden). It would be wonderful if we had a train system like this in America, but it would have to be super fast because of the distances involved. The main advantages would be not having to drive yourself, not having to get to the airport an hour early in order to go through security, and virtually no delays caused by extreme weather. But $435 million for 4.4 miles of track!?! Even including a tunnel, that is outrageous!
Awesome movie! to me the Swedish Railway seems to be very well maintained and is very fast, quick and effective in transporting Swedes where they need to be. I can imagine the system doesn't suffer without the occasional late train but I enjoy the moderate speeds, smooth and well maintained rail and the absolutely gorgeous scenery! I would love to go to Sweden someday and maybe even live there. This is definitely one way I would consider going around Sweden in! I also love the SJ rolling stock! I love the X31 and the X2000 and would love to travel on them! Daniel.

Very nice ride. My mother and one of my brothers live in Falkenberg...
Man! This thing is hypnotic as hell! If I take a sudden notion to pull all my money out and send it to Sweden.. I'm gonna be really choked!
Daniel.
