Love my set of wide 'n weighted beadlocks. Currently have them mounted on my comp deadbolt with patagonias. Killer combo if you enjoy the 'small tire' crowd. Was a lil discouraging with the loss of width but i feel it makes me a better driver😎
Went with RC4WD Super Swampers(the were cheap). They work great, but you need to run them with foams with vented tires. Side walls aren't sriff enough to go foamless.
I am not entirely sure what the stock offset is. It looks pretty close to zero. Maybe slightly positive by 1-2mm. To my knowledge the stock wheels all have the same offset.
Hey Adam. Can you share what brass extensions/wheel weights you use in the front? Looking for a beefy set to go with my injora wheels. My treal weights fit my treal wheels perfect but not my injoras.
I installed these same wheels with the slightly smaller Injora hyrax knock-offs, using lil nova soft and medium foams. Have you tested this wheel with a slyme ballz set up? I’m curious if I should ditch the foams and try some out, these heavy wheels create a lot of sidewall flex.
Yes I have! I have the slymeballz in these now and they work really, really well. Especially on my TRX4M bronco which is quite heavy. The inserts eliminate a lot of the body roll but still allow for great conformity to obstacles.
I run an older set of full brass wheels, and definitely needed a power upgrade with all the weight on my rig... If you feel like dropping the cash, I highly recommend the Furitek Micro Komodo system with their Lizard Pro esc. Awesome. FOC, all the power, and good companion app if you get the Bluetooth link.
Love those wheels, I bought a set a few weeks back. I put LGRP Grippers on them. Only problem I ran into is the Treal hex extenders do not fit into the wheel hub. I have another set of extenders I'm going to file down, and see if I can get to fit. Been thinking about those tires too, I might have to order a set of those. Thanks for another great video Adam, take care!!!
I said in the video that my hexes fit.. too well apparently! I tried to change wheels later this evening and cannot get them out! I love the wheels regardless. They’re glorious!

These? amzn.to/419qi5H If so, yes I have those on our TRX4M defender. I like them a lot! Not quite as much as these big 64mm's, but they are easier to fit on a build and work great.
I also have a set in the mail along with a komodo motor and the goodies to go with it just in case the brushed motor can't handle the weight. I have 1 oz of weights in each front tire right now on alloy beadlocks with rc4wd mud slingers but I always want more weight down low
What size screwdriver do you need for screwing these wheels together please? Everything i have is too big. Seems the screw heads are a smaller size to anything else
I have those wheels, installed rok lox which i had laying around and they look good but small. Wheels also come with aluminum 3mm hex. Did not install the screws in the center as well. Put them in my extra parts build which has all the plastic parts from my toyota pickup build. Didn't have to put brass diff covers and knuckles because these wheels are so heavy. Changed out the stock axle shafts with yeahracing axles shafts which are thicker. Will install larger tires later. Wheels are currently unavailable on amazon, glad i got a set.
How well would these work without foams ? Thinking about putting these on the TRX4-M and since the stock tire / wheel does not come with Foams, wonder if these would work as good or better on the Rover or the Bronco.
I think they would pretty difficult to run without foams. I have these on my power wagon with soft compound crawler innovation foams and they are just so floppy. These things really benefit from some sidewall support
What about the tire rib with body? No issue for you? I wanted to install those tires on my Gladiator but the tire rub was so big that I changed them to 54mm mud terrain Injoras
I got a set of them, they worked pretty well for the price. Ended up putting my powerhobby trail warriors tires back on though. Just more consistent in my opinion
They seem really good at first but then what you running for a little while seems like they start to lose some of that stickiness obviously but I don't know I'm still in the testing stage
So I bought basically the same set of wheels (made of brass) and the exact same set of tires but said wheels wouldn’t fit in the tires unless I took off the brass rings that came with them. Is taking the wheel rings off the only way they can fit properly?
I ran the rc4wd Milestar Patagonia on my C10 for a long time and loved them! The good year wranglers are also a great tire. They're taller than stock (and the super swampers) and perform really well.
The mud terrains? They are tall; about the same height as these rock terrains. They would only fit if you have lifted the c10 with big shocks or if you've trimmed the body.
Ordered the tires and the red injora wheels instead of the brass. Can’t wait to put them on my new trx4m bronco. Also found some 70mm goolrc shocks I’m hoping will work well. Currently using some 65mm shocks of my latrax Teton and they work about perfect. Only complaint is that the way traxxas mounted the servo. It’s gonna limit travel because of clearness issues. Also the front axel is a little short and gets bound up with the longer shocks. Curious to see what all will come out for it!
Adam, I have a question about your scx 24 J L wrangler . I have the same and would like to know what servo you are using on yours; I have a micro Eco 827 and I don't have a lot of suspension in front. This servo has been recommended by a lot of UA-cam channels as the best for upgrades. I know that this video is 1 year old and don't know if you will read it ; hopefully you can respond. Thank you
Nice video and info. So watching your video made me think about how much my tires on my scx24 jeep weights. One wheel and tire is 1.7 Oz and all 4 wheels are 7 Oz. They are the swamp kings with treal brass wheel extenders and ssd wheels.
Hey hows it going. I do this mod were I take lead weights cut them, shape them and stick em to the outside of the inner beadlock piece, one wheel comes in at 69grams with the wranglers. be more if it was those big tires, probably around 75grams a wheel. With that mod it puts 100grams nearly on the ground helping you hold down those crazy angles without rolling. I think its the lowest CG mod Ive seen yet. Best part is you cant see any of it!
@@CapeCrawlers Im not on IG. Im sure others are doing that mod too, just dont see it that much. Like just that mod, some tires and beadlocks the scx24s are something else, they get past that 400g mark where I find it needs to be to feel right and have enough traction to make it up stuff :) I think that mod costs around 3-4bucks for the set of 4 wheels. :)
This helps a lot I think I should switch my jeep To this set up. Currently running the scramblers and the stamped bead lock combo. I actually don’t have any wheel weight spacers yet so I won’t loose any width
These would be slightly taller than the scramblers and noticeably wider. I ran the scramblers on my JLU for a long time and I think these hook up significantly better. It could be because of the heavy wheels though. Either way, I am impressed with them!
@@CapeCrawlers wel my next build is a gladiator and I think I’ll just throw my current set up on that. The jlu in my opinion needs the weight over my already wide set up so I think the heavy injoras would be Amazon

I just ordered a set for my Panda Hobby, Tetra X1, 1/18th scale Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. I ordered part number W1005- T1011, are these already pre-mounted, or do I have to put them together like you did? With those heavy wheels I might need a stronger servo. Can you suggest a stronger servo, with at least a 47° turning radius, for the Tetra X1? Hopefully one that just plugs in, without any soldering. Thanx brother. 👍😎
The wheels and tires will come dissembled unfortunately. Set aside some time to install the ring screws as that is the hardest part. For the Tetra: what about the EcoPower 827? I am pretty sure it will be compatible but not positive what the turning radius is. It’s a great little servo though
@@CapeCrawlers Thank you so much. Are those ring screws 1.3mm hex, 1.5mm hex, or something else? from an earlier message, I'm going to purchase these hex wrenches. Just wanted to check which is needed for this wheel beadlock. Thank you. again.
I have these wheels and they are great but in my case the venting didn't work if I had all the beadlocks screws in which was disappointing. Also the interior set of screws block you from being able to access the wheel nut which is a pain. I still really like them though. Nice video bud 🤘
I noticed the same, with all the screws in its air tight - I then just used every second screw on the outer beadlock ring, i like the look and now it is properly vented, air blows out of the open holes. Of course did not use the inner screws they have no function.
I would also say run every other screw for the bead lock, and no inner screws. If i snugged my bead lock ring too much I wouldn’t get the venting, so check on that.
I'm new to this channel. Great work and informative videos. There is one thing that if you could have a look into it would be great. I watch the videos on my phone and if I watch it with the phone vertically (if it accidentally turns the screen most of the time) the backlight is very dim. And when I watch it at full screen (horizontally) it turns the brightness to max. I remember another youtuber having these problems and he said he fixed it changing the settings of the video. Can you have a look at that? It's annoying because even when I'm in a room with low ilumination it basically blinds me.
@@CapeCrawlers It happened to another youtuber a year ago or two and I remember that he said it was because he had been tinkering with his settings and it made this thing qith the brightness. It might be some "on and off" option on the settings.
ADAM! HELP! Please, please, help me, Adam. I'm in a quandary. I purchased Injora wheels (7mm axle hex nut). They fit on the axle fine. Also mud terrain (2.44 in. overall height, .81 in. width) tires, for my Panda Hobby 1/18th scale Tetra X1, Jeep Wrangler Rubicons. Parts number W1049-T1007. I don't seem to have a hex wrench from any of my R/C's, that fit the tiny beadlock screws. These are 1.0, CNC machined aluminum wheels, anodized color finish in the center, black beadlocks. Do you know what size hex wrench tool I should use to tighten these tiny beadlock screws? I anxiously wait your expert advice, and thank you very much!
@@CapeCrawlers They are Injora part #W1049-T1007. W1049-wheels (T1007-tires.) My concern are the wheels. Thank you for your timely response. So it's 1.3mm, and 1.5mm, hex wrenches. All the screws look the same size to me, but my eyesight is not what it used to be. I'll have to use the magnifier. Lol. Thank you so much. I'll call and ask my buddies at A-Main Hobbies if they have them tomorrow morning. Unless you have a link where they can be purchased, thanks again, Adam.
@@CapeCrawlers I figured any hobby shop would have them, but I thought if you wanted to send some business to a certain vendor for some reason I would buy them there. But I didn't know is that those were the two go-to sizes. I don't have either one of those sizes, thank you again, have a good Sunday. 👍
Maybe one of you guys could help me out. Just received my set of injoras and noticed in my hardware bag i have short and longer screws and also 4 small needle pins has anyone had to assemble rims with this hardware if so could i get alittle assistance please.
The longer screws are there to help you get the wheel started. Get the wheel started with two long screws, then add the shorter ones. Then back out the longer ones and replace them with the short ones. It makes assembly much easier.
Hi! So you lost width because you were using the ‘stamped steelies’, but if you were upgrading from stock, one would gain width. Is that correct? Thanks! I actually ordered a set of the Injora all brass wheels last night, so it was cool you put this vid up today. I’ve been working on a sick Deadbolt build for a while now and wanted to try an all brass wheel. I have the Treal wheels now with the brass lockrings and Trailkings. Recently ‘stretched’ the front end 10mm with the injora JLU links and Treal driveshaft. So much fun. Awesome channel! R
Thanks for watching! Yes, you are correct: I only lost width because I had the stamped steelies on prior. These would stick out further than a stock wheel.
I have the aluminum Injora black bead locks with super swam claw 1.3 and super soft Injora silicone inserts on my EVO PRO. They feel like titties! I didn`t want to go the brass route. So, I laid the rear shocks one hole towards the front and added the wheel weight. Hoppe`s gun oil in the shocks is the prefect viscosity. Waiting for a metal drive shaft.
I came here thinking these would be for a real truck. wtf...and this guy who looks like a real off roader guy but then...these toy tires...what!!! whad am I gonna do with that?

No rubbing on the JLU only because I have cut the fenders significantly. It’s also got extended axles so there is lots of room for big tires.

Do 1/18 scale crawlers use the same size wheels?
Yes they do. As long as it has a 7mm hex, which most of them do, the wheels are interchangeable

No, probably not. These are crazy heavy. Maybe some knuckles to bias some weight up front, but thats about it

Thank you. again.
@@stonekoldkustomz8033 the ring screws are 1.3mm 👍🏻
The tires are huge 😮
I have these wheels and they are great but in my case the venting didn't work if I had all the beadlocks screws in which was disappointing. Also the interior set of screws block you from being able to access the wheel nut which is a pain. I still really like them though. Nice video bud 🤘
Good points! Too bad about the venting. The hole in the ring is very small. Maybe you could bore it out a bit?
I noticed the same, with all the screws in its air tight - I then just used every second screw on the outer beadlock ring, i like the look and now it is properly vented, air blows out of the open holes. Of course did not use the inner screws they have no function.
I would also say run every other screw for the bead lock, and no inner screws. If i snugged my bead lock ring too much I wouldn’t get the venting, so check on that.
I would really like to see those wheels and tires on a deadbolt. I think they would look great on that.
I agree. I havent even tried them on my deadbolt ironically, but I should!
how's your emax liking those wheels?
Haven't tried the eMax. I run an EcoPower on the JLU and so far it seems okay. But I havent run it more than 20 minutes.
@@CapeCrawlers Nice. Yeah, that little EcoPower one is very underrated and less than $20.
Love those new wheels
They’re sharp aren’t they?
Got mine in the other day as well! Love them so far. Currently vented on stock foams but have the new V4 flubbers on the way for them.
They're going to be beasts with the Flubberstufferz!
@@CapeCrawlers we will sure find out! haha
You should do a build review on that it looks so much better than mine
On the JLU? I’ve got one on the channel
These look a lot like the nuud terrain set I just got. Been working great.
They're impressive tires!
I want the mud terrain tires does anybody know the hex bit size they need?
Which hex bit size, for the wheel screws? Front are .05" and back are 1.5mm
You should get a stock truck to test things on
I bought a deadbolt for this exact purpose but I couldn’t keep it stock 🤣
I'm new to this channel. Great work and informative videos.
There is one thing that if you could have a look into it would be great.
I watch the videos on my phone and if I watch it with the phone vertically (if it accidentally turns the screen most of the time) the backlight is very dim.
And when I watch it at full screen (horizontally) it turns the brightness to max.
I remember another youtuber having these problems and he said he fixed it changing the settings of the video.
Can you have a look at that? It's annoying because even when I'm in a room with low ilumination it basically blinds me.
Hmm I’ll see if it’s something on my end. I did change my lighting and recording settings to dull them down.
You’ll need a 1.3mm hex for the little beadlock screws. 1.5 for the bigger screws in the back if I’m thinking of the right wheels.
@@stonekoldkustomz8033 any local shop should have them. They’re the go-to sizes for the mini crawlers.

@@CapeCrawlers I figured any hobby shop would have them, but I thought if you wanted to send some business to a certain vendor for some reason I would buy them there. But I didn't know is that those were the two go-to sizes. I don't have either one of those sizes, thank you again, have a good Sunday. 👍
Willl they fitt my new bronco ?
The Axial or the Traxxas? I think they will fit the Traxxas without modifications, but certainly not the Axial scx24 bronco.
Its a Axial bronco 🇩🇰
@@Zeisslermusic You would have to add long travel shocks to lift it. They are big tires!
Still waiting on my rock terrains to arrive from china
same
I wish they were on Amazon prime. The wait on delivery from overseas is brutal!
@@CapeCrawlers yup! Or atleast have a state side warehouse. But an authorized stateside retailer would work too!
does anyone know if these tires fit on a stock c10????
Not without body trimming. They're massive tires!
@@CapeCrawlers okay thanks man👍
Maybe one of you guys could help me out.
@@CapeCrawlers how about the 4 pins. They look like little needle bearings
These would stick out further than a stock wheel.
the wheels so nice
They are glorious
let's gooo new vids
Lots of new vids incoming!
I might have to pick up a set if there are that cheap
$16 through Injora! Crazy value!!
@@CapeCrawlers so true
I unfortunately bought those and I think they are way too heavy😢
Great video but you keep saying JLU when it's a JL 🙂
Thanks! It’s got 4 doors like the unlimited. JL Unlimited =JLU
Ohh I'm really Sorry about that I figured the 4 door was a JL and the Gladiator was a JLU. My bad lol
Lol I really need to check before I buy things I bought these tires and rims got them the tires are hugggggggeeee to big for any of the broncos
They are massive aren't they?!
@@CapeCrawlers too big aha they rub a dub dub lol but the grip is amazing good review like always
💯💪🏽
👍🏻👍🏻
I came here thinking these would be for a real truck. wtf...and this guy who looks like a real off roader guy but then...these toy tires...what!!! whad am I gonna do with that?
😂😂 We bring these when we go off-roading! It’s fun when we break for food and/recovery!
Injora "make more fun for rc" 😂 total junk
What kind of wheel extenders for theses kool tires
I am running the Mofo RC +5mm axles and heavy hexes for extensions. It's an awesome combo.
