crazy how both of their characters in Marvel evolved throughout the years, right? Goddess of Chaos Scarlet Witch with the God of stories Loki, 2 of the most powerful beings in the MCU.
Also Elizabeth Olsen's career over the years feels like a movie. She has improved so much. Her recent work speaks volumes about just how phenomenal of an actress she is!

I'm not a fan of this kinda movie and I started watching it because of Tom Hiddleston. Two hours passed by unknowingly and I ended up in tears. This is a very touching movie.

Honestly, I think Tom Hiddleston sounds really awesome. His Southern accent sounds more believable than Elizabeth Olsen's, and she's closer linguistically to that dialect than he is.
Funnily enough, brits are actually closer. Deep southern accents sound more British. Some linguists think that the southern accent of today is more like historical (medieval) British accents than what they’ve got today. Anyway... blathering on five year old comments is a waste of time lol.
His accent isn’t what’s important, it’s his singing, which was very poor and really didn’t make the movie believable

Yup. At least from what I can tell from the ISTL trailers, they all sound similar. The director is a southerner and Tom and Elisabeth both worked with dialect coaches. So far haven't heard any real complaints about the accents. The worst I've heard is that they were fair, not the best but not bad either. While others, including actual southerners, have said they were totally fine and just as they would have expected a southerner from that region (and era) sound like.

funny how people praise Tom Hiddleston as Loki but I have a good hunch no avenger/Thor fanatics or just superhero band-wagoners in general are going to see this and support him and witness someone who has way more talent then playing a Comic book character. The fact its been 3 days and this trailer only has a little over 100,000 views is sad....Where the heck are all of Tom's fans that should be getting excited about this film? look at what this man can do. I'm so tired of all these superhero flicks getting praise and recognition when better more artistic pieces such as this film goes unnoticed and looks to be nothing shy of amazing. I loved Walk The Line and wish it had been juiced up to a R rating like a Cash film should actually be so I'm glad they are going the distance with this Biopic and making it to tell a truthful story not lighten the actual material so it can "gain more revenue from the masses". Never listened to a Hank song in my life but as someone who loves a good film and story I'll be seeing this.
+Captain Mutato Well said and totally agree. This looks like a great film to see just for the performances alone. It's a very tough role to pull off with the singing and performing, and everyone looks like they did some damn good acting. Can't wait to see more of Hiddleston outside of Marvel.

+Captain Mutato I am one of those fans of Tom for things other than superhero movies. I came to see this trailer and am considering seeing the movie even though I don't like country just because I think Tom Hiddleston is an amazingly talented actor (and all-around a wonderful person).
And quite a few of those Hiddleston fans like me may have watched it on his Twitter. I saw the trailer there, but it would not load, so I just watched it here on UA-cam instead.

High Rise does look amazing. It's not an easy story to watch for some I hear, but that's not going to stop me from seeing innovative filming and another good role like Laing for Tom.

This movie was very unfairly maligned leading up to its release. I was expecting something truly awful after seeing many negative reviews. Tom Hiddleston’s performance was great. The film itself could have benefited from better writing and direction but as it stands it’s certainly worth a watch especially if you are a Hank Williams fan.
