Holy crap dude. I had no idea you got married. You guys look great in those wedding pics. Ive been seeing the builduo to this video and im so excited its up. My kiddo loves gremlins and this video might just get him excited to learn some skills. I love these types of videos!
Silly putty is a good option for masking, it will flow over time so you need to mask than paint pretty soon after. It also flows faster the warmer it is.
So happy to see you doing some painting again. Makes me want to pick up my model building hobby again. Love the new channel, but will always have a soft spot for Cosplay Chris. Custom Collectables, baby! Congratulations on your marriage! On to the next challenge!
Amazing paint job! I'm working on a 3D printed life size Stripe and you've inspired me to dust it off and get to the paint job!!. Weather is almost good enough to start painting outside. Just gotta get past this humidity. Supposed to be 44C tomorrow.
First of all, big congrats on the wedding Chris! Haha, I feel like that announcement and the level of skill that went into this build are like a culimination of everything I've seen and heard from Cosplay Chris over the last decade'ish or so. You've come a long way in life and a long way as an artist and creator. This build was amazing! Keep up the good work my dude.
Great video! I personally hope you'll do more these type of tutorials/build videos in the future where you use more of your arsenal on bigger projects. I'd be stoked to see especially model kits like this or statues. I understand that they can take more time and money but I also believe they are worth it in the end.
This is absolutely phenomenal, if I was to be super nit-picky I think the black on the ears is too opaque compared to the rest of the ears (but I completely understand the approach you took). Incredible work and a beautiful final piece. Congrats on the marriage as well.
Nice work. Patience is always the key to success when doing projects like these. As to your observation about his one eye being slightly higher than the other. I heard that crestors will often skew the features of villains to give a viewer a sense something is off about the character. Even if they're only aware of it subconsciously.
Wow just wow dude, you keep surprising us all with amazing skills I never knew you had, just amazing paint work, now you need a couple of cocoons around him 😄
Woke up to the notification of a new cosplay Chris channel video and it made me smile. I absolutely loved this video, as always sir you did an amazing job. Thank you for sharing with us fellow geeks 😁
The kids toy that comes in a little red Easter egg is called Silly Putty. This stuff makes an Awesome masking tool that will easily pull off without damaging your model.
STUNNING result...holy crap I'm jealous. What a dream piece for Gremlins fans.~ Also random but, been playing dragon's dogma 2 and can't help but notice some similarity between gremlins and the goblins of DD2 XD
I’ve got and painted this model. I do have the spines but I wanted a generic gremlin, also painted this by very small brush because I didn’t have an airbrush 10 years ago lol, p.s congratulations 🥂
That turned out great! The clear coat really brought it all together. I want to see Christ airbrush a full costume. Was this training for a Ninja turtle costume????
paint looks great, congrats on the marriage. I think the high gloss is a bit much under the bright filming lights, semi-gloss would be the only change I might think, or it may just be the lighting.
Im so happy for you question. What mask from a artist is really really close to the looks of 1978 i need one for a cosplay i havent found one that i think is close
Wow man, this is stunning work! It looks beautiful! But I think it looks too much shiny? Maybe some parts in math coat will work more realistic (ears) ...Just humble opinion. I can't wait to see the next Batman custom collectibles, and I wish you too happiness with you wife, big hug from Spain!
Dang yo! You go away and come back with some bangers! The roof top turtle one will always be my favorite, but damn this looks real! Congrats on getting married. Do you and wifey plan on doing cosplay duo's now?
Oh no, chris!! I never have any constructive criticism for you, but having gone through this kit years ago, there's one MAJOR oops. The kit came somewhat deformed, (check your legs), and the kit needs to be heated up and shaped to rectify this. Once the oddities are corrected, submerge them in cold water to firm the vinyl back into position. It took me 2 swings at these kits to master, but virtually every seam will fit together with minimal putty needed, including the neck gizzard... Big fan of your work, and congratulations to you and your wife!
Wow Chris Mohawk looks awesome!!! Back to the question from your Screen used Halloween Props video my choice for a dream Halloween Screen Used Prop is A Screen used Blumhouse Halloween 2018 mask but the mask he wore when he got shot by Karen Strode with a sniper rifle from the final showdown in Halloween 2018 until they find out he's alive in Kills. That's the mask I'd want i have a TOTS Version of the mask it's called the 2018 Bloody Mask. my first mask in my collection now i have all three Myers masks from the Blumhouse trilogy. All made by TOTS. Hope you and Chloe enjoy the summer. take care my friend. - Jordan from Jman Fett Cosplay
Hey buddy off topic but I have a question and I hope you can help. I'm building a leatherface 2003 reboot costume. I bought the new version of the TOTS mask and my Mrs who's a hairdresser sorted the hair out but would you do anything to the new masks paint job and if so what please? Keep up the awesome 👌 videos dude
I’m gutted. I had one of the original Neca statues. I had no idea until I saw your previous Gremlin video that they were infact a limited edition of just 100! I had it for quite a few years, but finally sold it about 10 years ago for something like £60.00 Sterling, which is about $114 Aus dollars I believe. I think I only paid about £150 for it from a collectibles store who had it on display, so technically I suppose, it was second hand. No box or any literature. I remember it had a beautiful paint job.
@Cosplay Chris Where can I find that same model kit not painted as you used here. I really want one and have really good idea for the paint. Let me know mate. -MrFreddy101
2k clear? He's too glossy. Guess you wanted him to look like he just crawled out of a pool. Toss that airbrush in the trash and get you a iwata eclipse. You'll have more control over your airbrush.

My favourite designs from Gremlins. Looks absolutely amazing.

Bro, this is your best build yet! You should definitely be proud of yourself with that awesome paint work!
The gloss sealer really made this piece at the end.
Amazing paint job! I'm working on a 3D printed life size Stripe and you've inspired me to dust it off and get to the paint job!!. Weather is almost good enough to start painting outside. Just gotta get past this humidity. Supposed to be 44C tomorrow.

Absolutely superb job Chris!!! Mowhawk looks amazing 🤟🔥
Your best build yet. Now get you a whole army of gremlins!
Looks great man. You should get a dual action airbrush, so much more control.
Absolutely awesome Chris!!! And congrats on your marriage bro! So happy for you both.
This paint work is masterclass work, 100% talented
Wow Chris that turned out great! Such a cool piece.
You've definitely sold me on the air brush! Such a fantastic job, bro! 👏🤘

I used to live right next door to a KIWI shoe polish factory about 30 years or so ago. It was in Havre de Grace Maryland in the USA

Stunning, great job
Cool and clever intro I like that, chris
Amazing work!!!
Beautiful job.
I so want to see how to make a negative mold of this. I'd like to make several foam/rubber ones in different colors.
Congrats on the marriage.
Maybe you make a giant spider body to slip the torso into.
Looks killer Chris 👌
It would be cool to see you do a video on how you build a Freddy glove or how to rehaul a TOTS freddy glove!

Finaley somthing awsom ! Gisnt fan of gremlins !
aajajajaj Super, Excelente Trabajo. Tienes que filmar el susto de tu esposa ;)

You should do a custom collectable with the 30" Spiderman I think you would do awesome with it
I’ve got and painted this model. I do have the spines but I wanted a generic gremlin, also painted this by very small brush because I didn’t have an airbrush 10 years ago lol, p.s congratulations 🥂
very impressive
Love how he turned out. Poscas aren't permanent markers, they are acrylic paint pens.
I thought you were going to turn the book box into a VHS clamshell of the movie. I might need to do that idea then.
That turned out great! The clear coat really brought it all together. I want to see Christ airbrush a full costume. Was this training for a Ninja turtle costume????

Dang yo! You go away and come back with some bangers! The roof top turtle one will always be my favorite, but damn this looks real! Congrats on getting married. Do you and wifey plan on doing cosplay duo's now?
Amazing job 😍 PS: congrats!

Crap that one is perfect..I need to find this one
22:20 Lol at K-mart referance. They aren't around the the States anymore.
Congrats. I think the most amazing part of this video is that your wife is letting you airbrush this guy in the kitchen. :P
Damn man, just about to go to bed!
Mohawk? Weren't the evil ones Spike and Stripe? Their names in the credits of the movies anyway.
Yeah I thought I was remembering wrong. I've always known him as Srtipe
mohawk is from gremlins2
Chris, you're fucking nuts.. LOL. super talented dude. holy shit that's so damn good !
It's amazing, but where's the crest?
By the way, where can you buy that mounting kit?
Hey buddy off topic but I have a question and I hope you can help. I'm building a leatherface 2003 reboot costume. Please do more Gremlins.
When you going to make the cowl for your batman fan film?
You should hand make a mohawk that can be added and/or removed as you wish.
Nice
Congrats on get married bro !!! I like your video.
@Cosplay Chris

As the kids these days say, "AWESOME".
Is Mohawk still going to receive his namesake mohawk?!
He looks awesome, but i think he needs his mohawk.
Congratulations on getting married! 😁
👍
Just doesn’t seem right not to give him the Mohawk though?
This looks fantastic! But he just looks incompetent without his mohawk 😢
Wtf mate. Youre just too good at this craft lol that thing looks like it's gonna hang my dog up with Christmas lights
congratulations on getting married 😁
sleep time a little later
His names stripe not mohawk
In the second he's called mohawk stripe was the first I know its weird it's just technically two different gremlins
@@StarDustBlu2099 It makes sense since Stripe was killed in the first movie
He is Mohawk
the base lacks so badly that it take away from the final result
congratulations on your marriage bud
He is Mohawk not stripe
Le braccia sono più lunghe delle gambe 😅
Hi
His name is not Mohawk his name is stripe
He is Mohawk.
His name is stripe not Mohawk
He is Mohawk
His name was "Stripe" not Mowhawk!
He is Mohawk. Your wrong
2k clear? He's too glossy. Guess you wanted him to look like he just crawled out of a pool. Toss that airbrush in the trash and get you a iwata eclipse. You'll have more control over your airbrush.

A Mat finish…think would be better…he’s to shiny 🤔
