These 30 second intros are killing yall as producers ... losing hella business opportunities and listeners because yall aren't capturing the audience within the first 5-10 seconds .. no need for that long of an intro/build up ..
I mean if you make mid music for short attention spans, sure. If you cant be creative for at least 20 out of the 30 seconds thats a you problem doc, re-evaluate who you’re criticizing.
@@smokedoutsigma9365 A 30 second intro to any song is played out ... This isn't cookout music.. Jazz or techno.. Name 5 songs today that don't get to their point in the first 30 seconds.. It's called evolution. Even if it's an interlude you don't wait 30 seconds to start talking or rapping .. Ever since Vine *6 second clips* (and this has been scientifically -documented) you will lose the attention and interest if you do not capture the audience attention within the first 10 seconds. I'm not going to take that personally because obviously you have not heard my music or else you wouldn't have commented at all lol so yeah .. These 20-30s intros before a drop is not gaining these new producers any traction because an artist who is looking to get a feel for the track is going to just skip if the beat don't slap within the firs 15s... Especially after 30-40s of ad's before getting to the beat.. Who want's to wait 60-70s to hear the development of the instrumental .. I'm not going to buy that beat if I know for a fact I'm going to have to cut 36s of the intro out..
