In order to use bash with your dual wield weapons, you have to have at least 1 one-handed mace equipped. This is why I use the Ramaladni's and a one-handed mace.
How come you need a mace for it to work? I'm still learning about the build so I don't know much yet lol 😆
@darkcyberdyne it's just how blizzard designed it. Ilthe game won't let you swap unless you have a mace. Bash is designed to use a mace.

Hey! As long as you hit your 300% damage while berseking then crit damage is ok. Just make sure you get that 300.

Thank you for the support! If you're running the dual wield I don't think grandfather would fit in. You lose out on a ton of bash damage, BUT I don't have one to try it, so if you test it tell me the results.
I got grandfather and it’s much worse damage wise when I slot it in instead of my sword with the bash cleaves temper

I've swapped completely to this build... the cost was huge... the reward was worth it! At last a build that deals direct damage. Twisters and Thorns are like magic tricks for a melee character.

Man i tried this build, i dont even have all the suggested affixes yet, resistances n armor not capped yet but this is STILL the strongest character ive ever had, great job bro!!!!

@@Des-TheProviderwhat sort of damage are you pushing out? I’ve just changed over now but seem to be around 1.5m-4m with buffs can’t seem to hit higher
I do have some breakdowns of how to stack damage in my game play sections of the video as well as how to stack gear. The highest hits without overpower is 335 million and with overpower 750 million. I do have a good gear but the numbers are good.
@@cliptis86 I must of made a bit of an error as I didn’t put edgemasters on so now hitting towards 7-9mill. I’ve not actually master worked by single handed weapons as I’ve literally just equipped them to change build so once I build those up hopefully I should see some dramatic improvements

cliptis, greatly appreciate you explaining why what nodes are picked and requirements to proc them, i do have a question however, i'm looking to play this in Hardcore and trying to adapt for a bit more life/survivability on the paragon tree, any recommendations?
Yeah I would follow it and build it as you go. Go into all the life nodes even if it's spending more points. When you get to the bone breaker board don't push into the legendary node. Save your points there.

No problem at all. Also make sure you temper max HP right from the beginning. As well as damage to close. They role max and at your level it makes you super tanky and super strong. Temper imposing presence where you can.

I've been running a Leap(66%LH-4Stun) + Bash + RMO build since the beginning of the season: Love to see what you could do with that to compare : ). Other single weapon quake duration usually keep about 4 to 5 w/rumble 50%x damage boost. Wonder what you would think.

How much fury do you have in your build? I was able to get up to 180 for the ramaladinis and was considering a greater affix tuskin helm instead of shako which would give me over 200.
I have 244. The ranks to bash are so strong. Let me know if you feel stronger. I think the ranks = more damage than more fury but I'm very curious to know.
Is 2.5 or 2.0 working out better for you? Working on 3rd board for 2.0 so wondering if i should make the swap over
I haven't gotten to test out the two-handed build with my new gear. I'm doing that today, but a lot of people in my discord are pretty happy with the feel of the dual wield that switched from the 2.0 build.
Does Harlequin crest fit in this build or not worth? Just saw the boss killing video where you referenced this build. In the boss killing one you used the uber. I have it, so checkijg if i should leave ut for this build or include, and which aspect to lose for it
In the planner I have an Uber version along the top for you to use. I would use Harlequins. It's really good.

Hello, just quick question. While farming paingorger gauntlets, is it worth to look at main affix? It doesn’t seems to be working in this build (we are using only basic skills, while for affix to work it’s mandatory to damage enemy with non basic skill) so I understand that I should look for best basic affixes. Am I right?

I've swapped from Dust Devils to Bash and I'm loving it. The only problem I'm currently facing is against Tormented Bosses. I just can't kill them. I've tried 2 Bash versions but somehow, my Barb doesn't make those numbers. I'm gonna try this one later on. Thanks ✌️ liked & sub
Thank you for the support! Before you hit tormented bosses what is your masterworking at? It makes a massive difference getting everything to 8 minimum. You won't believe the power change.

Nice, 1h bash is not something I see often, and the build is nicely thought out. You could do with a basic attackspeed roll somewhere, squeeze out that last 10% to the cap, but that’s about it.
Actually, since you are overpowering, in no need of fury, and movement speed can be capped in other ways, you could switch rallying cry to Hota to get the x30%, realistically 15-20% since you overpower once every 8.5s. If you’re really looking to squeeze out max damage, and you can handle it timing wise. But that’s easier commented than done ;) .
And nice job on the crit chance. I didn’t get over 65% on my ww bleed build so far, that’s some decent tempering.
Hey! In my pit pusher build that's coming out, the rapid aspect moves for more attack speed. That should be out in the next couple of days. It's taken me up to T119 and is still going.
As far as HotA, it doesn't work for this build. In order to guarantee HotA to overpower, bash needs to be using a two-handed mace. Since we are using dual wield weapons and can't guarantee HotA to overpower, it's a very hard thing to get it to land on HotA every 12 seconds from bone breaker. The HotA variant on a two-handed version is very strong!

Hey man... Is Grandfather better option than any other legendary this season? Mine seems to be just "Ok". The famous Alldamage stat now can easy be replaced.
Hey! With this build, you're already giving up 1 bash cleave damage temper for the magnum opus, and you can get up to almost 500% on a two-hander. I don't think it's worth it. I don't have one to test out though.

Hope you can help me, loving the build, but when i try and copy your paragon from the planner i am 1 point short? I have all paragon unlocked 255 and followed the plan exactly.
When i come back into the bone breaker board from flawless technique to get the bonebreaker node, i have to click the attach boad node again or it wont let me path into it, am i dong something wrong, it's driving me crazy, i have checked it over and over and always i am 1 point short?
Hey so sorry. It's the website messing up. I actually have been trying for days to figure it out and I found it this morning. I just updated 1 board and I'll be updating them all in just a couple minutes. For the bone breaker done click the gate, just start with the regular nodes because the board is already unlocked.
@@cliptis86 when i try to just click the nodes pathing in from flawless technique it says board not unlocked, even though i already added the board from the bloodrage board.
The only way the game lets me add thos points for the bonebreaker node is by clicking on the gate on the flawless technique board, other wise it wont let me. Cheers

Without the flask of holy bolt this season would look very differently. Im happy they added it because it solved alot of problems and ads are to all classes. I hope they keep it in game.

Can I play this build from beginning or it requires some minimum gears to function?
You can but it functions best with a couple uniques. If you want a great leveling build dust Devils is the way to go.
I'm just experimenting with Rupture and Wanton aspect without moving to Flay yet - I'm having some trouble recognizing the damage caused by Rupture. It seems like it would be White but I haven't noticed any particularly significant numbers despite doing ticks of 2-3M bleed dmg, My understanding is that every bit of bleeding damage an enemy takes accumulates for the purposes of Rupture - is that correct? And if I'm careful to only use Rupture once Wanton is available, the damage should keep growing and growing, right?
That is correct. However, once your flay hits its duration cap, then you stop stacking any additional bleed. So you'll need to temper flay duration with at least 2 masterworking crits on each of them. I only have 2 weapons with double durations on them so I'm capping out at 850 million bleed ticks and 25 billion rupture hits. If I got more duration, I'd get that higher.
@@cliptis86 thanks for that clarification - what about non-flay bleed duration - perhaps that’s why I’m not seeing much damage… I guess I’ll have to go full Flay and see what it looks like
Hey! It all has times and each tooltip will let you know how long each of the bleeds last for.
@@cliptis86 Right but Wanton Rupture so *all* the bleed dmg since you last did it or only that currently “active”. I’m guessing the latter since that’s why you stress flat duration?

I mean im following your build but i have HC , and in the link with Harlequin the 2 single wield weapon is a sword and not the mace , but with a sword its not possible to do bash with 2 weapons , is it like this or is an error from your side ? Since i thought it was a single sword as it is on the link of the build i sold my wolfs bite with 3 stars with Strenght , Max Life and Critical Strike Damage for 320M. How do you use the bash skill with a two-handed sword? I can only use it with a two-handed hammer.
Bash can't be used with a two-handed sword, only a two-handed mace and dual wield weapons, as long as you have a one-handed mace equipped in one of the two slots.
When does this take over from dust devils? I’m currently really enjoying the dust devil build but am leaning toward swapping. I’m level 92 currently. Put 20 so far only.

Ty for the Video I play the same build. I have a question when I grap the enemy's to me I stuck for 2or 3 sec and can't attack them. I play on Ps5 maybe only on console this problem? Sry my english hope u understand my problem 😅
I get the same thing happening on my PC but only when I use mouse and keyboard. Using something like a shout after you use grasp helps but it's really annoying haha

So when you grab the enemies with the chain, don’t leave your attack pressed (don’t hold it), just tap a couple times and the leave it pressed👍
This works too! He popped into the live stream to let me know casting a shout worked every time as well. Lots of great options for fixing it.
Hey man, I have the exact amount of health as you do, exactly armor/resistance capped, but I still get one shotted from boss mechanics at like pit 85, how do you survive against those?
Hey! Is your paragon board the same? I run a pretty massive amount of DR through the board l. There are still mechanics that 1 shot me, though in higher tiers.
@@cliptis86 Yeah man I run the exact same paragon aswell, the problem isnt the boss itself, its the "Shadow Boss" that spawns and hits you, since we cant bleed them we dont get dr for their mechanics. But in the video you are able to tank its damage no problem, while I get one shotted :D Guess Ill prio some max life over other damage sources
What's your masterworking level at?

respected into this earlier and got my armor almost capped and my res all maxed and noticed a massive damage increase but i lost alot of health this comes from me dropping a weapon with max life so i gotta find away to get my tank back(i will say im not fully tempered into this bcause all my gear was tempered for another build so i need all new gear armor wise)
That is awesome! I'm really glad that you are seeing some big gains. The build I run has less life but more damage reduction generally but I'm currently putting together content for the newest version of the build with the same DR, more HP, and more damage. It'll be a couple days I think. Thanks for trying the build
@@cliptis86 it’s always nice trying different builds but at the same time I hate that tempers sorta ruin gear for swapping like in your current one you have tempers of res I had to skip those but managed to get my res still caped, I will say I don’t see anywhere close to the numbers you show off but I also havnt masterworked much at all
@Ninja9687_ the damage comes with masterworking and hitting the right 25% it takes awhile but that's the fun of it!

@@cliptis86 sorry I thought you meant my percentage on the Magnum damage to close enemies haha 😅 on the weapon special ability it goes with 0,2% for each fury point. I currently have 2nd level masterwork pit mats mostly with a couple of items already in 3rd level masterwork. What do you think? Thanks for your replies!
@adriantocagomez9295 ohhh you need to find a .4 that is the most important part. You're missing 50% damage using .2 vs .4 you're welcome! Happy to help. I use elixirs of resourcefulness too for extra damage
What about shako? Is it a case of swapping the helm aspect with another piece

Im unable to change my bash into dual wield, it only wants to use my 2h bludgeoning. How do you do it?

I used your paragon board but its always short one point. What could it be?
I fixed it, you just need to refresh the planner. It's going to say I only have 224 points in but it's 225. It's in the blood rage board where the willpower goes to the right.
Tried to follow the planner and Ran into an issue on the paragon. I ended up 1 point short. Yes I have all 225 points. I had my son and my wife compare against the planner and I had no pieces out of place. I assumed blizzard was being buggy so I wiped my paragon again and ran into the same thing. For now im running with 4 less fury to make it work. Can someone confirm the build planner is right or wrong on the paragon total?

@nateg893 Most of the bosses have mechanics that you have to dodge or time your iron skin just right. Also, masterworking is an incredible important thing. What level is your masterworking?

Hey! You have to have a 1 handed mace equipped in order to switch. Bash needs a mace, one hander or two.

It can be used in any build but you'll lose a lot of cooldown and it won't feel as smooth. If you're lacking DR is an option

Hey I thought about looking into this and trying it but I haven't tested it yet.
I use yen’s blessing and a tuskhelm. I only have war cry on my bar so it fires the berserking over and over and hopefully procs the enrage from tuskhelm. It seems to work well but I haven’t pushed high pits yet. I demolish any content I’ve tried though
Yeah there's so many fun variations out there. Once you get high into the pits having damage mitigate in some form is needed but if you're clearing the content you want and having fun then it's a good build.
@@cliptis86 That is my problem. I capped out around pit 40. I have to add at least one more shout to get the damage reduction to be able to push higher.
@corey1019 well this build is pushing people in my clan up to and past T100 of the pits. If you want to try it it's a ton of fun.
Better off using a regular sword over ramalangalangadingdong imo the say 75% extra damage is nothing compared to having damage while berserking and bash cleave damage multiplying together along with the crit damage already on all swords
Hey! Damage while berseking caps at 300% for gaining a multiplier from the blood rage node. I tested it live for people last night and a max Rama with 229 max fury was 10s of millions more damage than a rank 12 sword with bash cleave on it.
I have Rama hitting up to over 700m with a boss killer build. It's pretty awesome to see a 1 hander do this much damage.

No definitely not. The beauty of this build is there's so many ways to run it!

Hey! Unfortunately the ubers don't hold as much weight this season and the build would fall really short running either doombringer or grandfather. The Tempering and aspects you have are much stronger for this build. We tested it.
@@cliptis86even switching over to a frenzy instead of bash? I keep seeing builds that take frenzy and thorns that are almost identical but always falls short due to really rare rolls and the poor one way tempering system shafting about everything you try to optimize.
@@cliptis86like these claims are that they can do torments but barely move their health unlike yours where it just annihilates them in a few seconds
I was a thorns with frenzy thorns bash and then now again thorns frenzy

You have to have a one-handed mace equipped on one of your slots.
Personally I would run Edgemaster over Conceited just purely based on the fact that Conceited is a conditional damage increase vs Edgemaster being always up. Also the damage difference is negligible👍

Seems my damage with 2 hand is better. I also have 50% crit chance and 800 crit dmg anytime I try a uber 200 level boss it doesn't crit like at all but elites and smaller enemies I get crits to hit all the time. How much crit chance do you need for this build to crit more on level 200 uber bosses ?
Hey! You need a .4% magnum opus to start seeing big damage with the dual wield. I can hit up to about 350m crits with the one handers. I'm running 75% crit strike chance, 76% attack speed, and about 900 crit damage.
@cliptis86 I do have one of those but I ended up switching over to 2 hand bash because I did see more damage. I wish the sword gave the buff regardless if you use 2 hand or 1 hand weapons. I might switch back to dual weild bash and try the setup you have in your video.
I ran in a group doing 200 tormented boss and got my shit rocked and was like yeah I thought this build was good until that happened lol I have a long long ways to go and lots of min maxing to do. I appreciate the response!
@pacman5800, no problem! What build are you running? You need to run a lot of max fury to get the big damage buffs so if your board doesn't have max fury the damage from the sword isn't as much.
@cliptis86 I'm running bash with iron skin the 3 shouts and steel grasp ,paingorgers gauntlets is the only unique I'm using. I'm using exploit,territorial, ire,might,undaunted, marshal glyphs. The damage is pretty good solo on bosses and it crits great solo. But soon as I am in a group and try doing tormented boss it falls off bad and it hardly crits. This is what had me thinking of going back to 2 hand bash with the ramaladni's magnus sword. So just debating what I wanna do. Tomorrow after I get off work I'll probably end up switching it for now it isn't to bad for what I wanna do. But for really endgame stuff I'll definitely need to switch it up.

You might know this but when you add someone to a party the monsters gain 100% more damage per person in the party. So your damage will be the same you just need to do 4x the amount to kill it.
Came up with pretty much this same build just altered a bit according to my RNG with gear. damage is high and very tanky. I don't have min maxed gear at all and only am 8/12 masterworks on gear and no shako becuase I cbf farming helltides for my last spark. lilith was no issue. other uber bosses were a joke. so far 112 pit is my highest. bash barb is good fun. if your looking for a build to easily clear NM100 / Pit100 and do all the ubers with minimal effort bash barb is great. I personally prefer a good pair of gloves with greater affix rather then using paingorgers. the paingorgers damage versus a high tier rolled greater affix gloves didn't add up for me personally.

Hey! Once I switched I never went back. It's so smooth, so much fun. This one attacks so fast and with decent gear hits hard but it's really easy to get into.
Thanks for the build. I had Rob's build and thought why not try something new. I've rebuilt everything, my items are pretty good and I still do max 20 million crit damage, maybe sometimes 25. Maybe someone has an idea why it doesn't work for me? Thanks

I really tried to do this, I have pretty much the exact same stats as you, but 209 fury. I'm only hitting for 1 mil hits and 20 mil in the very small seconds the chains proc berserk. It just doesn't work for me. I was hitting 20 mils with a different build without needed to use chains every 2 seconds
What % is your ramalandi?
@cliptis86 .4% it almost has max rolled everything and I even got a triple roll on masterwork into the fury. 1981 strength

I loved this build but it might not be everyone's play style. It carried me into T121 of the pits without Holy bolts. It took me a bit to get used to it but it was a blast.
@cliptis86 I uploaded a short video with my gear stats and profile stats and such, everything isn't master worked all the way but I can't figure out why the damage is drastically different. I tried the boss killer variation too and did the exact same damage as this one. I feel like I'm missing something that is obviously important I just don't know what that is

In the skill tree section of the video, I covered outburst and tough as nails. That's where it comes from. They give you thorns and bleed

It requires a bludgeoning weapon so it has to be a one-handed mace.

@christopherpace7662 if you need to level any of your skills go to the training grounds, put on lunging strike, assign that weapon and level it but hitting the dummy. I'm live on stream right now if you have questions. It's much easier for me to answer there
you could use aspect of elements ... 30% bosst damage intead of 25% of barier

Yeah the bleed barbs are incredibly strong right now. I think the strongest out there. That's going to be my next venture.

Dude you're legit, you also explain everything clearly where others are jumping around every where with their build. I have melted heart of selig amulet and that gives me an extra 60 fury so damage is crazy with ramaladni's

@@cliptis86 yes it's on my ring, only 68% stronger so my damage on avg. Is around 20 mil. Without the necklace I'm dying too fast around pit 78. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Also all my master work is at like 6/12 so I still have a lot of master working to do

Masterworking is insanely powerful. Get everything to 8, first and then start pushing. Are you following a build or doing your own thing? Make sure you use glyphs like territorial and undaunted if you're dying for extra DR

Hey you need to have 1 resistance all on I believe the chest piece I had it in the planner in order to hit max res. Mine is on my pants in game.

Hey! That's the seasonal elixir holy bolts. When I'm farming, gold, nightmare dungeons, or pits for materials, I use them. They are SO much fun to use. I tend to push without them, but for everything else, they are on all the time.

Hey! That won't work for this build. Bash only guarantees an overpower if you're using a two-handed mace. This build doesn't run that because we are using the dual wield, so HotA would work. In my bash 2.0 video, there's a great HotA set up though if anyone wants to try it out.
anyone knows how much attack speed we should aim for?
Hey soft cap is 100% hard cap is 150% is what I've found.

Yeah I started using rupture for the 40% attack speed. The animation is slow but the attack speed is nice.

Instead of using opus with 76% damage why not use a normal ledgendary with bash cleaves?

What part are you dying on? I die a lot haha you should come watch my stream, but I also clear high content. If you're dying a lot, scale back your damage stats, add damage reduction, and make sure your masterworking is at a high level. It needs to be high.

Bash is a fury generator so you won't lose any fury. You generate more than you'd lose. It's the perfect combination

How are you hitting 100 mil and my build is very similar to yours and I'm consistently hitting 20 to 30 mil it's stressing me out

Masterworking is an incredible source of power. I would worry about getting to 100 so you have all your paragon points and then focus on building your damage numbers. I was level 100 in the first couple days and just recently started hitting consistent 100m to 300m normal crits and over 750m overpower crits
I played d4 when it came out as druid then quit after the pre s1 nerf only just came back so lvl'd a druid . Ergh 😅 well after i finish work I guess I can start one .

There's a lot to learn initially but it's a very versatile class. I have a leveling build on my page that's insanely fun to play. It's the dust devil double swing build.
