They tried in Jan 2023 before the Skull and Bones came out probably cuz they knew it was a flop and gonna be terrible and basically drop their stock making their company worth less. Try changing aspect ratio. 16:10 is slightly more width without drastically changing the view. 5:4 and 4:3 are super tryhard but bodies are way bigger targets.
Ive played Siege on a 15.6" laptop for a couple years, I have to keep the screen close to my face to see properly (about 12in away) or else I experience the same thing. Also, lower your FOV to about 50%, objects will look larger but your peripherals will be lacking comparatively.
That match 2 nitro on printer window was ridiculous. I usually have a pre-placed nitro there for when someone jumps in, but had no idea it would kill someone outside the window.
I had a cheater on my team last night on border who threw a nade through a wall. I thought it was pretty cool but just imagine defending and seeing a grenade fly through a wall 😢
My rule of thumb is that if you suspect somebody is cheating and they're emerald its a higher chance they are because for some reason most cheaters peak at emerald. Like that's when cheats get out played by skill.
Game is actually just unplayable right now. Maybe its because I only play in the early morning, but 13/15 of my most recent matches have had blatant cheaters. By far the worst its ever been.
Yup then kd drops, 75% of matches give no mmr back, winrate plummets, then you're only gaining half the mmr you were getting to get back to the rank you were at. Just to try grinding again and face more cheaters

I can't even enjoy a simple ranked match, I'm in copper 2! I just can't play without 1 cheater in a match, I was emerald 4 last season, but made it to emerald 2 before getting cheaters each match, taking me on a massive losing streak of 12, happy I am taking a break from siege

Yeah, same. I introduced a few guys I used to play with to r6, and we used to play it a lot on console. I took a 6 month break and now they are using xim and cronus and cut them off entirely because of it. I'd rather play a game and have fun with people who want to learn its mechanics than people who choose the easy way out.

As a former console player from Y1 til Y6S1, switching to PC a few months ago has been an insane curve to learn. I went from Platinum on console to right now being hard stuck S2/S1. Everybody is so much faster. My stats are okay, 1.2 KD but it doesn’t matter. And seeing some kill cams makes it frustrating because it’s hard to tell if they’re cheating or just way better.

And about the anti cheat system, there is no fix for battle eye is outdated. anti Cheat from 2017 got no updates, and the r6 game engine is outdated and old. The only fix is a new engine with a new anti cheat system like valorant, so basically, we need rainbow six 2 ! Otherwise, we will be stuck in this endless black hole, useless bug fixes, and cheaters R.I.P r6.
@varsitygaming aimbot is way different from ragebot, what you saw in the beginning was ragebot. It basically bypasses walls and shoots the second it finds a suitable target. It doesn’t work all the time though as you saw in match one he died nearly immediately. Aimbot is where your reticle locks on to the body part you choose in the cheat menu (head, body, legs). Silent aim is a bit more harder to code and easier to ban people with because you don’t have to aim at someone as long as they are in view or behind a shoot able wall you can hit straight headshots or any other body part you choose in the cheat menu. Also how the cheaters walk backwards is called no slow (it’s in the name) just allows you to sprint no matter what.

How is this game still going, it was good in the first 2 years, but then it just kept being changed and new operators added, meaning people dont pick the needed operators to breach/defend and the player base is so TOXIC. Gave up with this game during the 3rd year.

You can lean without aiming on console now check your settings. Also m&k players plague console Siege its called Xim. Mousetrap was supposed to counter it but Ubi is too scared to ban cheaters since so many of them are there players.

As a level 300 ps5 player, I would rather play against a hacker rather then zimmers. At least you know forsure their cheating and Ubisoft doesn’t support hackers while they do zimmers

Some cheats have an 'unlock all' option. More than likely, it's what they're using to get the charm.
All those “unlock all” cheats, also come with aimbot and esp.

at this point its not a siege problem theres plenty of other multiplayers games tha are suffering from cheaters like overwatch and Call of duty and TF2 especially they should join forces and fix it lmao
C4 was clutch on cheater but I’ve had it happen to me. Fuze killed me through two reinforced walls with a puc that landed very clearly on the opposite side of the walls.

Happened to me, apparently console players are actually managing to get mouse and keyboard and before someone tells me, yes, I am aware that mouse and keyboard is banned in console, but I have been seeing that players are leaning without aiming, because I know its possible to lean in console when you aim

You can lean without aiming on console now check your settings. Also m&k players plague console Siege its called Xim. Mousetrap was supposed to counter it but Ubi is too scared to ban cheaters since so many of them are there players.

As a level 300 ps5 player, I would rather play against a hacker rather then zimmers. At least you know forsure their cheating and Ubisoft doesn’t support hackers while they do zimmers
