Rev. Joseph Leo Iannuzzi is a doctoral alumnus of the Gregorian Pontifical University. He has obtained 5 post-graduate degrees, with studies in medicine, music, anthropology, sociology, philosophy, and theology.
As a young medical student, Joseph traveled to a Marian shrine in 1988 where he was inspired to enter the seminary. In 1991 he obtained a Ph.B. in Philosophy and was awarded the Kilburn Award. While assigned for 15 years in Italy, Rev. Iannuzzi studied Italian, Hebrew, Greek, Latin and other languages. He also obtained an STB, M. Div., STL and STD, Ph.D. in Theology, with specialization in patristics, dogmatics and mysticism
Rev. Iannuzzi was one of four selected students to receive a grant from the Pontifical Biblicum University of Rome to study theology in the Holy Land. While in Rome he assisted the exorcist of Rome, Fr. Gabriel Amorth, and has written several books on prophecy and revelation. He appeared on EWTN and was host of several television and national radio broadcasts. He has translated numerous theological works into English and has authored seven publications.

As I was praying sobbing for my poor mom who was suffering from a devastating mouth cancer holy Mother Mary invited me to visit Medjunrgorgia. My mother passed away few days ago and I’ll be going there in Christ Jesus and Mary most holy🙏🏼💕♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️✝️

Perhaps Our Lady was preparing you for your mama’s passing. It happened to me when I came back to the Catholic Church in 2007. Exactly 2 months to the day, my mother became gravely ill and died some months later. I just knew The Father was preparing me for my mother’s death. I was very peaceful but only by His grace ✝️

Going to Medjugorje for tge 1st time in Oct. Tom Medjugorje's channel featured a small event over the Divine Will with a handful of attendees, I was wondering if these happen often, and how a visitor could get in on one. TY. God blesses all you do, Father...not surprised Our Lady considers you so familiarly. 💙

Have you looked at the promises of the rosary? They are literally the promise that you will be protected from the deception of any heresy. Honestly, one of my main drives to say the rosary is that very promise.

Father, when we implore the Holy Spirit for the gift of discernment what happens to us after that? How does the Holy Spirit begin to work in our lives and how will we know the Spirit is? I hope I'm making sense?
I am not a priest, nor a theologian. And clearly I am not father Ianuzzi. But I could share some insight from experience. You will have to ask the gift, practice the method usually outlined by father Iannuzi: 1. Facts, 2. Prayer, 3. Sense the Spirits, 4. Ask for advice, 5. make a decision. And, the more you: 1. ask for guidance, 2. are open to receive an answer, You would end up usually doing the right thing. Be it because you either make the right choice or the fact changes and things go in another way. Mistakes will be made and what is apparent will change. But it is more about being docile to what the spirits moves in you. And, in my experience, the Spirit is soft and corteous. It is not pushy nor it makes you fret. That has been my experience.

That last question about acts being "stored" and Fr noting that the correct term is "deposited" was interesting. It made me think of how a person could store money under their mattress or in a safe, or they could deposit the money in an account that earns interest. Similar to the parable of the talents. Anyway, wonderful episode and thank you to the person in Australia that provided the mic upgrade to Fr.

When I went to Medjugore I found that everything changed. My Mum died, I lost my family home and job. Thank you Lord, amen.

Sorry.......... Father I pray in Tounge every time I go 2 church u said no one I do always do it .... without failing... u should n all other priest encourage every one 2 pray in tounge n sing in tounge bless u... father...
Father never said "no one should pray in tongues." Rather, he said that "anyone can pray in tongues... and that St. Paul stated that if one is the "speak" in tongues (note: not "pray" in tongues) there should be a translator. There is a distinction between the two that many charismatics and pentecostals miss.
