eating the gelato by the river seems like a nice time!
It is a classic stop in Florence
I wish we had the same coffee in Spain :)
That's where Italy has Spain beat
Awesome video. We are there all the way from Australia in a few weeks. Great advice 😂🍷👌
Awesome! Thank you! I hope it helps!
Good job Greg
THANKS so much!
Thank you for sharing this! Hoping to take my mom to Italy soon so she’s loved your content! ❤
Have fun! That will be a cool trip.
Great videos you are making🤩 I’m going to Florence and Tuscany in July and get a lot of inspiration and tips from you. Hope others also find your videos to help you grow👊
I hope so too!
Hopefully this was as fun to shoot as it was to watch! I could see this type of video in different cities and at different price points quickly becoming your most popular.
it was!!!!!!!!!
Fantastic video, and great timing! I just arrived in Florence this evening, and I was thinking of what to have for breakfast!
As a student, this video is incredible - so well shot, informative, and helpful :) i’ve been watching your other Florence videos, and I am so thrilled to explore the city tomorrow morning!
Enjoy! 👍😎
What a great video. I will definitely visit each of these eateries when I'm in country next spring! Such good advice from you, Gregor!
Glad it was helpful!
nice tips, the only I didn't like was the gelato, it was terrible lol worst I ever had, still looking for the best gelato here
I was in Florence in May and i can vouch for the deliciousness of I Fratellini and don't forget Pino's Sandwiches as an alternative to the more famous one.
Yeah. Great local place!
Really enjoyed the video !! Can you do one similar in Milan 😂 heading there in Sept ! :)
Yes I can. I'll try to do that over this summer!
Have been watching your videos as we will be in Florence in November. Is it advisable to make reservations for dining? In Rome we just walked in and were seated right away in early May. Will definitely be visiting some of the places you've featured. Thanks for showing us around!
yeah, it helps, 1 day out or a half day out,
I talk about it in more detail in these videos

Your video is extremely useful as we have a plan to visit Firenze soon. May I ask for any information(or recommendation) on where to stay(or the place where you stayed)?
I'm glad it's help and I'm sure you'll have an enjoyable vacation and I made another video on all the Essential things you need to know in Florence so you can check that out here ua-cam.com/video/rhaevfQN9es/v-deo.html
I love your channel. Going to be in Florence in September (2023) for about 5 1/2 weeks. Taking a class outside of city (Pescia and Pistoia) and will be staying for a month in Oltrarna area. Then to Parma for a few days and onto Venice for a week. Cannot wait so this has been very helpful. But I was looking to sign up for your newsletter and I can find it. Can you point me in the right direction?
You will have a good time when you were here👍 and for my newsletter there's a link downstairs in the description of the video😎😎😎👍
@@GregorBrown Thank you.
What an amazing choice: as an italiian, apulian living in Milano, I'll tell you Parma is a wonderful town! Not too small, but still one of the most enchanting and nicest places in the Country; full of Art and Culture, it is one of the culinary Capitals of Italy (salame di Felino, prosciutto di Parma, Parmigiano reggiano, just to name few of its most popular food). I also find it pretty posh, the most along with Verona ...well: that's according to me, at least!
If you have the time to do, just visit the beautiful city of Bologna, headplace of Emilia Romagna region (where also Parma is located). Trust me: you won't regret it!
Gregor, i have a question or maybe a viedo suggestion. Small Plates. I had gastric bypass and when i go to italy its 1.5 yrs since. I can only eat small amounts at one sitting but several times a day. How do i accomplish this in italy... Florence especially? Great places to get good food but smallish portions?
you could just ask for small proportions when you order and also keep in mind, the plates are not as over-flowing as you'd find in other countries like the US.
Apple pay or debit /credit cards acceptable in ANY shop in Florence?
No. Be ready to have cash on had for the smaller places, other places will take credit cards yeah. Apple Pay, I'm not sure.
@@GregorBrown Oh yeah like the smaller shops where you got your Lampredotto and maybe those shops alongside alleys in Florence. Well noted, I'm going around (starting from AMS then head bit north, then come down to Tuscany - where i will indulge :D *excited* then France to home (Dubai). Thank you so much for the tip!
You are trendy
In what sense?
