Hi Chris this is manny and Maria we met you at coco key by the jet skis. I asked you if you was a blogger. Great Ship.We enjoyed the trip. We also took beautiful videos. Will continue to follow you. Thanks Manny. Hub
Hi Manny & Maria, thanks for reaching out. It was an amazing ship and I have tons of video content to edit for the channel including my walking tour. Part 2 in this series should be out in the next couple of days. Great meeting you both, hope to see you onboard another ship soon!
Thanks Fromthefuture, you described exactly what I am shooting for with my videos. I haven't met an Oasis class ship I didn't like yet. The are also among my favorites.
Great video, I was also on this cruise at the same time as you and saw myself in the video 😆. This was also my first cruise and I had previously watched your videos and convinced my family to go on a cruise.
Hi Izzy, thanks for watching. That is so cool, I love to hear that my videos have helped people make the choice to go on a cruise. What was the overall reaction from the family, would they go again?
Hi Ambient Mopar, thanks for watching. Glad you liked the video. Part two will have to wait until I get back home from Wonder of the Seas, as the part one video took over 10 hours to upload to UA-cam.
Hi Lions Den AKA TreyX, thanks for watching. I'm still onboard for a few more days. Ship is incredible and some major changes from other Oasis class ships.
Hi Veronica, thanks for watching. I just had another Brunch at Mason jar , as well as dinner last night. So with 3 visits this cruise, I think Mason Jar has been one of my favorites. It's not just the food, which I think was great, the service was warm and friendly, and the bar area and music were also a nice touch. Giovanni's was also as good as I've had on other ships like Odyssey of the Seas.
@@TalkingCruise That's something. Wow 3 times. We have done Giovannis before on other Odessy class ships. We never have done Hooks Seafood, so that will be two dining venues we are looking forward too.
Hi Darla, thanks for watching. Just got back home yesterday, I had a great time, albeit most of it spent filming. I'll be back on Wonder for a vacation when she arrives at Port Canaveral later this year. Working on Part 2 of the Wonder of the Seas Highlights, stay tuned.
Hi Mark, another great ship, quite different than Wonder of the Seas, but equally as entertaining, with awesome food choices, activities and amenities.
Hi Kristen, thanks for watching. If you purchase the UDP online before your cruises (recommend to get the best price), you'll only be given a placeholder reservation for the 1st night. Once onboard, you can make all of your reservations for the duration of your cruise.
Hi Beach Guy, thanks for watching. Wonder is quite different than Odyssey, but the experience so far has been amazing. Both Odyssey of the Seas and Wonder of the Seas are on my top list of new ships right now.
I was thinking that it will he nice if carnival have a clothing store on all they cruise ships would be helpful in case anything happens with people's bag's
0. THERE WAS VIRTUALLY NO CRUISE DIRECTOR!!! Adam or Andrew was literally non-existent the entire trip. I won't have known who he was if we didn't go to one of the shows and he was the MC. It was the first, last and only time we seen or heard him. I've never realize how a good cruise director can really add to the experience until now after doing 6 or 7 cruises with entertaining cruise directors! 1. CASINO LOCATION: The smoke smell from the casino permeates thru the ENTIRE 4th floor including the dining room! You won’t notice it right away but after the 3rd night if you are asthmatic or sensitive to smoke you will get nauseous. This is primarily due to the central location of the casino, the size of the of the casino, and the automatic sliding doors that stay open much too long. 2. PLAY AREA: The dry play area for kids behind the Windjammer under the Ultimate Abyss gets too hot too fast. My kids said it feels like being in a tin can under the sun. Same with the mini golf area. The cooler European weather will be better for that area. 3. CENTRAL PARK: The design of the ship, being mainly hollow space above the central park area allows for every decibel of noise (music, movies, etc..) coming off the 15 floor pool deck into the peaceful central park area. In fact it sounds louder in central park because the sound from above just bounces around the hollow space. 4. STAFF/BARTENDERS: First I will say all the staff are awesome and nice but many working the bars are NOT bartenders and NOT trained properly to manage a bar where multiple people are waiting for drinks. A lot of fellow cruisers shared this complaint with me. For instance there could be one guy receiving a beer at the bar with 6 patrons on the other side of the bar waiting and the bartender will ignore them and ask the next person walking up what they want. One time it took a bartender 4 minutes to make me a rather sweet gin and tonic. I was excited to get the drink package UNTIL I got on this ship and was discouraged from using it both by the poor bartending skill and the attitude the bartenders gave when asked to make drinks. Go to the Mason Jar or the Sports Bar (see Alexandra) for awesome bartenders and well-made drinks. Other than them the BIONIC BAR actually was the BEST PLACE ON WONDER TO GET A DRINK! AND ALSO THE QUICKEST! 5. FOOD: Not the best food on a cruise. The dinner menu was more repetitive than other cruises I've been on. I think this was primarily due to Covid shortages for supplies and staff. You will end up spending extra at the specialty restaurant if you are a foodie. 6. POOL AREAS: I'm not a pool guy but people I met complained that the biggest ship on the planet had the same amount of pool spaces as other smaller ships. I guess they expected bigger pools. Albeit there was an unlimited amount of deck chairs around a pool the size of a master bed. lol. HERE ARE SOME Positives: 0. STAFF was amazing! Kadek (Philippines) in the staterooms and Jessica (Mauritius) in the dining hall were the best! 1. THE BOARDWALK: Best part of the ship for kids (when not in the pool) and for Dad's who want to watch sports and eat wings all day. 2. CENTRAL PARK: It is a must see to believe how beautiful this place is. One of the best ideas in cruising since the beginning. Just wear earplugs. 3. ULTIMATE ABYSS: My kids loved it. The thing looks really cool! 4. MASON JAR: Best Food, Ambiance and Drinks ever on any cruise ship! 5. SOLARIUM: Is a great adult enclosed wet space for those of us that don't need a tan. I only wished they had an actual swimming pool in there. 6. SORENTOS Pizza/Promenade Coffee /Confectionaries: Great additions to this ship since these places open later and offer amazing fixings. 7. OVERALL CRUISE EXPERIENCE was a 4 out of 5. If anything Wonder, unlike all my previous cruises, makes me want to cruise again right away.
Hi 0LAF2046, thanks for watching. That's quite a review you provided, not really a comment, but I appreciate your thoroughness. Did you really feel like Mike the cruise director was not around. Personally I saw him in many locations and events.
Hi Mark, thanks for watching. I hope you had as good a time as I did. Absolutely, always happy to say hello and meet people that watch my videos, and when I travel alone, it's nice to spend some moments with others.
Hi Texas Boy, thanks for watching. I realize these massive Oasis Class ships are not for everyone, but there's still plenty of other smaller cruise ship choices.
great footage. very clear and simple.
Hi androsdrewry2878, thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed the video.
The best time to go to a Boardwalk in Wonder of the Seas is Evening because I get to see the great view.
Hi Zjandcody, I agree, Boardwalk is a nice spot to watch sailaway from.

Hi Lions Den AKA TreyX, thanks for watching. I'm still onboard for a few more days. Ship is incredible and some major changes from other Oasis class ships.
Great to see the Wonder in action. We have 110 more days. I am booked at Mason for dinner and Giovannis for embarkment. Can't wait for part 2.

So with the unlimited dining package, do you still need to make reservations? I’d assume so, but wanted to ask.

Hi Colin-cube, thanks for watching.
We got off a couple of hours before you got on Chris.
Hi Melvin, that's cool, I have been really liking the new areas onboard. What was your take on Wonder of the Seas?
@@TalkingCruise Loved everything except the stage shows, which left me looking for more. Intense was great.
