Having attended numerous new moon and full moon ceremonies for 12 years in St. Pete., FL, each ceremony began with the Thanksgiving Address led by Three Black Feathers (Terry Frady, Onondaga). I’m so grateful to learn about these words and the continuation of this living oral practice. As a book designer and teacher I’m inspired by your story of receiving an invitation and carefully collaborating to translate, illustrate and publish.
