I live in Australia and any overseas travel we have restrictions on liquids and carry on is usually a total of 7kgs. Love your videos especially the travel related ones. So excited to be able to travel again. 😊
I am so excited about our trip to the French Riviera this summer, but am struggling with Lufthansa’s carry on restrictions. The personal item size restricts you to no bigger than 11.8”” x 15.7” x 3.9” which is pretty darn small.
The carry on luggage restriction is 21.6” x 15.7” x 9”. All of the carry on rollers I own exceed those dimensions, but I found one on Amazon that works, but now I find the weight restriction (8kg/17.6lbs) to be another big challenge. I hit 8kg with just some clothes, a small handbag and a pair of sandals, and that is with only packing it three quarters full.
I bought a backpack that is a smidge bigger than the stated restrictions, but hope that as long as I don’t stuff it, it will pass if I smush it a bit.
But YIKES, I wasn’t expecting such tough size and weight restrictions. Your personal item looks to be at least triple the size I will be able to bring, so I am having to get very creative to fit all my essentials in.
Next time I will scrutinize dimensions and weight restrictions for carry ons BEFORE I book my flight.

I think I’m kinda old school I still used my Victoria’s Secret makeup travel bags and those gift with purchased makeup bags. My carry on is always my trustee Longchamp large LePliage tote 👍🏽 and I purchased so much Adidas Fanny Pack omg they are the most comfortable and super functional 👍🏽❤️🥰

@aheatedmess...How do you clear TSA with a large toiletry bag like that Plus you actual makeup bag... neither are quart size& the limit is 1 bag...don't they get picky about that? I've had TSA pull apart every item in my toiletry bag AND my makeup bag because it didn't fit the "Guidelines of 3oz./Quart Size Limit"
For this trip I used the Beis essentials case in my carry on and and checked all my toiletries - but I have TSA Pre Check and Global Entry and they never ask me to remove my liquids bag 🥹✈️

I thought American airtravel rules were very strict but you don’t have to keep All your liquids in one clear sealable plastic bag? And keep all containers of liquids under 100 ml.?
I have global entry which is also TSA pre check. I don’t have to keep my liquids in a quart sized bag and I don’t have to take them out if my carry on. It’s awesome. I still carry them in under 3oz sizes.
