It's feckin ridiculous he's played he's won a gold medal with Argentina ...I think its because he's played and lived in Germany for last few years. But I agree it really makes a mockery of international hockey 🤔
After living and working in Germany for five years you can apply for citizenship. That’s what Peillat did. By FIH rules players are not allowed to have represented their former country at the senior level in three years though. Heard he had some difficulties with the hockey federation back home in Argentina after winning the Olympics in 2016.
That was intense gane😅
Where is netherlands
why not have an overhead cam like soccer. there is no closeup when the ball reaches the D, just changes cams when there is a melee in the goal mouth
Someone please explain to me how on earth is Gonzalo Peillat playing for Germany yet he has represented Argentina
This ! I had a double take when I heard his name.

So it looks like he went into international exile - similar to a few Irish players who now represent GB. And he became a German citizen and can play.
@@MontyStreet Huge for Germany they got him ...such a weapon .

What was it with those bonkers shaved side hair cuts with the Aussies. Don't they have GF/mums/friends to tell them not to go out in public????
