      Hey! Yeah so Ireland is a really great place right now for the biotech/pharm/health space. A lot of companies have moved their operations into Ireland and its decentralized so you can find jobs in practically any part of the country. I think it’s a really good career prospect in that there’s a lot of opportunity to work in a range of roles + lots of opportunity to grow. Is there a specific role that you’re curious about?

      rent is monthly, but for private student accommodation it is weekly. though you need to pay monthly or in full advance, or maybe in 3-4 instalments. Each brand has its own policy regarding rent. For rented apartments/ sharing rooms it is monthly calculated & paid.

      Congratulations on the offer.
      Honestly it is your personal preference. Both are top notch colleges, UCD has better graduate employability rankings consistently but it moreover depends upon your personal profile and previous experiences. Trinity is right in the city centre, whereas UCD Smurfit is 15 mins dart ride from city centre, both of them have their own advantages and disadvantages. No one will talk about the dark side. The refugee problem is a major issue over here, refugees from Ukraine and neighboring countries have created a job shortage and Accommodation issues as well. There are many students here from the past 6 months still waiting to get a job. It's a very small country that has exceeded its immigration limit already. Opt for some better countries rather than wasting your time and money.

      @mrnikhilanand  4 місяці тому +2

      Hi Aishwarya ! Congratulations on the offer.
      For student accommodation ( single room with pvt washroom ) on campus is cheaper, there is not a huge difference but yes it is a bit cheap.
      If you take off campus accommodation in the city centre, then its a 35-70 mins travel time depending upon where exactly you live in the city centre. the commute fee is not a disadvantage because whether you use public transport for 15 mins or for 90 mins, it will cost 1 euro for one side of the travel.
      So it will cost you 2 euros everyday. Rents for student accommodation is same everywhere, 10-50 euros could be the difference, 1-2 places are exceptions because of the quality of their service.
      But if you take off campus accommodation like a sharing room in an apartment then you can save, if not then at least decent amount of money.

      So, to get visa risk-free. please show your tuition fees i.e., 25 lakhs as loan and living expenses from your FD and other savings like mutual funds (remember that mutual funds should be converted into FD or the amount should be in your bank, otherwise they do not accept mutual funds as source of fund). It is very important to show at least 10,000 euros (living expenses) from your own savings to make the visa process smooth.
      But since you have loan that covers living expenses and tuition fees, you should still show 5 lakhs of FD.
      It is always advised to show full living expense from your own savings, rather than loan. You just have to show it until you receive visa. Hope you got it. Let me know if you got more queries.

    Hi , I will be moving to Dublin in April for job purpose. Which areas should I target for affordable apartments to rent ?

    • @mrnikhilanand
      @mrnikhilanand  4 місяці тому

      Congratulations on your job !
      You should target Sandyford, Stillorgan, Dublin 2,4,8 and maybe Scholarstown, these areas are in South side of Dublin, except D2 which is the city centre area, you will have to travel b/w 25-50 mins to reach office (depends upon your office location).
      You could target D1, Santry, etc in the North Dublin. But South side is more preferred.
      You will get affordable aparts in Sandyford, Dublin 8, Stillorgan & Scholarstown, with some chances of getting them in D2 & D4 as well.
