Videos like these are why hockey is the best
God bless her. We should all be so lucky to have a child like her. And Colton Parayko is a gem. What a geniune and loving young man.
Something weird is happening, it's the middle of the night and everyone else should be asleep but someone's cutting onions in my house
Ikr, like literally they wont stop!
Well its definitely not a witch...
Nine months later and you're damn onions got in my window somehow
Man, it's happening to me too. Raining in my apartment right now or something. Like a monsoon.
i know Im randomly asking but does anyone know of a method to log back into an Instagram account?
I somehow forgot my password. I would love any tips you can offer me.
Life long Boston Bruins Fan here , God Bless You Laila. What The St. Louis Blues and You accomplished together is just amazing. It shows the world what Hockey Players are truly all about. There a different breed. I have to say losing to The Blues was not fun but by them winning it all , it made Your story complete. God Bless You. 🙏
As a Blues fan I can't say how much Colton means to us. His genuine affection for Laila and how he supported her shows the exemplary character he has. This team was an amazing team, cheered on by an inspiring fan. It is almost too good to be true. From last to first. From despair to triumph. And you can bet that this town will never forget the special bond Laila brought to the team and the kindness Colton showed to a girl who needed someone like him in her darkest hour. Thank you sir. You are a great hockey player. But more importantly, you are a great man.
Such an underrated player. And clearly all class off the ice.
This story never gets old! Bless all involved with her journey.
Wow, just wow... never knew anything about Parayko but now ill remember this player forever and this nice story of true life.
Colton Parayko is such a sweetheart
Parayko is just truley amazing! From a playing standpoint and as a person. I hope he continues to have a great career
I watch a lot of these inspirational videos and this is by far the best one yet. The Blues beat my Bruins but after watching this I am glad it was the Blues we lost to. What other team gives a child a ring great job Blues.
Omg, can't watch this enough. Parayko is amazing, this story is stunning. And the girl has all the wisdom and positivity of a buddha.
This makes me so proud to come from the same town as Colton. Good Canadian boy.
5 years later....this still chokes me up....
#1 Hockey fan in the entire World. Period.
Truly inspirational 🙏❤️ also who dislikes a video like this?!!
And Sharks fans..
Alot of Canadian players on the Blues, lots of heart and soul, that's why they won the Cup.
Such a great season with so many great stories...LGB
Hope Parayko is a blue for life, one of the better defensive defensemen in the league with a shot that would knock your breathe out (ask Bishop) Stl loves this guy and he's an absolute genuine person
After watching his Cup interaction with Laila, dude is my favorite non-Devil. Absolutely amazing guy. And then this just slayed me. Kick some ass, Laila.
Strong young girl. She’s so amazing
What a beautiful story!
Sportsnets outro ruining this video also. Awesome story though, unreal.
I didn't want to cry today
GOOD OL ST ALBERT BOY
Good Canadian Boy!!! What a gem
Although I am not a Blues fan (I’m a Penguins fan, BTW), this story of a special bond between two people (in this case, Colton Parayko and Laila Anderson) and their inspiring journey to the 2019 Stanley Cup together is almost comparable to a special bond that I have with an almost 60-year-old Texas native who has been a sales associate, a real estate broker, a psychology professor, a dismally failed Congressional candidate, a tax preparer, a bank teller and a software tester that has lasted for nearly 16 years.
I love these stories
She’s awesome 👏❤️👏❤️👏❤️
Okay owww my heart!!!!!!!
Wow! What an amazing story! I don't know what else to say. God is good!
Laila is truly an inspiration to us all. She’s living the dream of playing hockey in inspiring others.
I'm not crying, YOU ARE!
love it!
Incredible
Tough as nails, she is. I'm not crying...Okay, I am.

im not crying you're crying so it just looks like I am
The leafs could have had this guy for nylander...
isthatyoubetha it was just rumours but it was everywhere
LAYLA IS VERY SHORT
i feel bad for the poor girl but there are other kids with cancer maybe they could cover more than 1?
The Blues regularly do, but yeah, there tends to be one kid that gets more focus. I think it's probably better for both sides. The two most memorable kids the team has had relationships with, Laila and Ari, are/were very personable, expressive, seemingly comfortable with the attention. There's other kids that the players will interact with, but it's more between the players and the families, which I think some people are more comfortable with.
I just wanted to add to that so thank you for watching this video and I do believe many other kids have cancer and I pray for them on a daily basis but I don’t have cancer well I didn’t I had hlh it’s a very rare autoimmune disease where 15 other cases have been reported worldwide it’s hard to explain you can look it up but I didn’t have cancer and the blues do a lot for the city of Saint Louis and we are forever grateful and I do my best to recognize everyone out there who is battling thanks for watching and sharing my story ❤️
Enough with the damn Laila stuff. Its getting annoying!
Then why'd you click on it? See the hole in your logic?
He’s just salty that his team couldn’t win the cup even with their hand pass game winner and the 5 minute penalty that beat Vegas. I’d be annoyed too if my home team was a bunch of geezers who can’t win a cup
To water down an RG joke - That’s like seeing a sign for guitar lessons and getting annoyed because you don’t want guitar lessons..
Mom basement cold?
@TuchThePuck Theres not only One little girl that has cancer you know? Maybe share the love with another girl that has cancer? Laila has been here since the Blues won the cup, maybe a little longer, but when it lasts until now, I've seen enough.
