    This turned up on my recommended list and I love this music. The Tangs were my favourite band at the time I must have seen them at least half a dozen times. I and my friends dropped so much acid listening to them. Halcyon days in a seedy apartment blitzed out of our minds listening to Phaedra on a crappy hacked together 'Hi Fi' on a summers day in England. Good times, good times. Thanks for the memory trigger PatchMonger. I'm 65, just retired and I was looking at the amazing offerings from Behringer. I think I'm going shopping, pandemic be damned....
    Oh yeah, liked, subscribed and 'belled'..

      Oh man, that is such a nice comment. Thank you so much... truly. I’m 41 and never saw TD, but I’ve watched the live in Coventry video a few times Hehe. I can imagine the concerts being amazing back in the day brilliant atmosphere! Go for it, get them they are incredible for this type of music. I make a variety of styles. Hopefully I’ll be making some more classic sound in the near future. Thank you so much 🙏🙏👏👏

      @@PatchMonger Ok, please don't consider this as bragging, it's just an example of how weird the world works. The Tangs massively inspired me creatively but my interests lay in computer graphics. So I spent years in the UK discovering the microprocessor and early CG. I eventually bluffed my way into Hollywood in 91 and with no money a fellow Brit and I founded a tiny company called Foundation Imaging. We convinced Warner Bros that we could computer generate all the visual effects for a show called Babylon 5. To cut an even longer story short I spent a long time over at the show's composer's studio in the Hollywood Hills to work on the integration of our content with his music. He was Christopher Franke.
      BTW I've been listening to your work almost non-stop for the last 24 hours. I love your production style, it's like watching a video of the tiniest live concert. Keep it up, people are watching.
      I think a Crave and a Neutron first...

    • @PatchMonger
      @PatchMonger  4 роки тому +1

      Hi Paul. That is an incredible story!! I cannot believe you ended up working with THE Christopher France. I can see that have had quite a lot of adventures and I’m so pleased that you wanted to share some of it with me. The intention of my work is exactly that, small mini concerts where I play a concept that I have and jam with it, so pleased you like it and you are very tuned into it! Neutron is fantastic, I dont have a crave but I’m sure I’ll be amazing (you cannot go wrong with that price) enjoy them when you get them and hopefully I’ll see you around. I don’t post very often but definitely more coming!! 🙏🙏

So far I have a Moog Minitaur (I'm a bass player that's always dreamed of having a set of Taurus pedals but couldn't ever afford them), a Korg Volca Bass and just recently added a Behringer Neutron to my little collection. I'll echo what so many people have said already about this video : this is such an inspiring piece you've put together! It makes me want to go home and get out my synths and start creating. You've also got me itching for a Model D! Great stuff here. Create more! Create more!

      @@PatchMongerI want to have a go at something like this, it's very inspiring, I try to make techno but I need to try something a bit different to learn more about what I want to do.
      I've not long had a neutron and really love it, it's a lot of fun. I was slightly worried about the fact I couldn't save patches but I've found that has made me learn more about synthesis. I'd like a digitakt and a model d, I'm really tempted to sell some stuff and get a digitakt, it looks great, I use an electribe 2 for sampling/sequencing at the moment but the elektron seems like it is way better
